If anyone is playing this in 2022 I have a good tip for the disappearing platforms. If you jump then double jump just before the platform you are standing on disappears it will reappear before you land again. This gave me a moment to see where the next platform was I wanted to jump to and made it doable. You can turn the music off so you can hear the sound when the platforms appear and disappear to help with timing.
For the saws on Yule tree, goat flying between the final walls does make it much easier as others have said. So glad I got these two feel like the platinum is now in sight!

Tule Tree one is complete rage. Hopefully I can get it soon so I can finally finish this game and get the plat!

Tule Tree is the only difficult one, I don't know why people are complaining about Sierra. It only took me about 10 minutes. However, Tule Tree is INSANELY HARD. Never again!
I feel exactly the same way about the Sierra one, it took me no time at all, the last part gave me a bit of trouble, but it took me about 10 minutes. But i disagree about the Tule Tree. I had more trouble with Sierra's puzzle, than i did with the Tule Tree's puzzle.

also the checkpoint for Tule Tree after you complete all of it is basically a "fuck you" message for the creators of the game. "You need this at the sawblade part? No, we're going to put it AFTER THE DIFFICULT PART." seriously, fuck Drinkbox Studios.
Just a tip, but a significantly easier way to get the 4th orb is to use the goat fly and the dimension switch thingy on the part with the saws. You only have to do a tiny bit of jumping that way. Just wait until you recharge and then use it again.

After a lot of effort I managed to get all the orbs! Thanks for the help and tips. It was totally worth it for the happy ending. I feel accomplished for a day. Hahaha :D
OMG! I thought everyone was talking about the Tule Tree orb as being difficult. I see now that you are talking about the Sierra Morena orb! It took me an hour to get the Tule Tree orb. I'm not sure I'll ever get this Sierra Morena one!
Keep at it, just try to remember the pattern, go R, L, R, L, L and start heading up always double jumping, then start heading right. I finally got all ORBs now need to finish game on HARD with 2 trophies left....
Still trying 5. I find that looking ahead helps a lot. Before you jump on the next platform look at what you're going to aim for after landing on that one and keep doing that. Helps a lot even though I'm still stuck on it xP
Tule tree help guide- chicken suit + when you get to saw part try flying from plank to plank instead of jumping. Makes it whole lot easier !!!

The Tula Tree orb is simple. My brain somehow couldn't get the hang of the Sierra Mountains one. Fuck that shit. Do this shit on a VITA. Rage mode activated as you easily make the wrong movement

Hell in a handbasket, I got to the final part and died, put me right back at the start. I thought the ledges were a way of saying hey buddy, good work on the checkpoint. NOPE.
Tree tops was though but I think the 3rd sections with the disappearing platforms was brutal!!! At least on the tree tops level u could rest when u wanted for the most part and catch your breath...get your mind right. But i mean that one section wit the disappearing plays had my heart pumpin outta my chest! Sooo old school and tricky
Big tip: For the Tule Tree one, once you make it past the first one and you can see the crates, if you have two controllers, you can bring second player in and take first player out, then back in to get his full health and then get rid of second player, so if you keep failing and losing health, atleast you won't die and go all the way back to the first bit.
Or... just equip the chicken costume and voila regenerating health.
Yeah I'll probably play the game again on hardmode for the acheivment and all the secret stuff. It's an awesome game. Really fun bosses.

To people saying it is difficult, it absolutely is LOL But practice makes perfect as they say. I finally got all 5 orbs, now just need to beat the game.
J Alford shared what is absolutely a crucial aspect of this. Learning to press Jump & Dimension Swap at the same time. If you cannot do this, some of these are literally impossible. Especially Tule Tree.

I suppose it makes sense how the Agave Field chicken maze is actually shaped like a chicken on the map.

This game just made me realize I have some serious learning difficulties...
Been playing the tule tree for two hours now. I can't believe that the saws are the hardest. The rest is easy by now, but that last part is horror.
Dear god that teleporting platform area was a nightmare from gaming hell.
I was really pissed because i did this all today and it took forever, but then i saw the alternate ending and I was like yea, it was worth it
if you have trouble on tule practice saying the steps in your head. using the keyboard controls i was all butter fingers mixing up the buttons all the time so reciting helped me get past there and also on the last part you can do it quite differently and i found it easier. Instead of timing the fly into a uppercut into the tiny hole you can just go up further fly and phase out then phase in when you are inbetween the last 2 pillars.
After that i had alot of trouble gripping the wall jumping and phasing at the same time with the keyboard so instead i used the fly which will still go through even if you phase out so instead of timing all those jumps at the end just use the flying move from wall to wall. much easier.
I found sierra to be much easier as far as platforming goes i've always been the wing it kind of guy and it seemed this was right up my alley but on the last part just take the time to figure out a pattern if you can. I really only needed to memorize about 4 jumps then I winged the rest and made it also if you are getting flustered buy your self time with the uppercut and headbutt combo. those 2 alone keep you in the air long enough for it to cycle platforms again

Heres how i think it works. If you dont do them in order, like me, and you decide to find the tule tree orb last, you do not get a piece.
Got every orb beside Tula Tree on my own. God was that a bitch.
The third section in Sierra Mountains took me 40 minutes to complete.
Just got the last one I needed, orb 5..! Was about to throw my controller out the window... lol!

BTW isnt better at 8:10 puzzles to use the "Goat Fly" ? i used it and it seemed easier

Also now that I have 6/6 when do I get to use the mask? When I boot up my old save I'm next to the boss with 5/6 again.... Do you collect them just for shits and giggles? Or do you actually get something unlocked?
Jonathan Ngo Are you stupid, well not really. When you beat the boss, its saved in the game that you beat the boss, but you can beat him again. The orb is automatically collected so once you find the other missing 5 which many people haven't bothered looking you get to be faster, and the chicken can fly. Which makes it a lot easier for El Infierno Challenges
But if you want the trophy or achievement, you have to beat him again to see the alternative ending!
The tule tree orb was fucking unreal. I rage quit like three times.
tule tree is definitely the hardest but it ain't even all that bad the saws are the only frustrating part

I cant stress how bad the tule tree is.
I can't for the life of me beat the teleportation one, it seems impossible for me. Those small teleporting platforms are so hard it's borderline broken and unfair.
So I did all of these challenges, on my map it says i have 5/6 orbs and the last (6/6) I get from the final boss right? So why is it that when I beat the final boss im still missing the right eye part of the mask? Am I missing something? and I do not have the infinite chicken jump either. Im playing it on the Xbox One STC Edition if that makes a difference or changes anything.
Same thing is happening for me on Normal mode. I don't know what is going on but its getting annoying.
So i found out i actually had to get 10 gold medals for the Diablo challenge then you get the extra mask piece plus chicken flight.
Can u fucking believe it. I spend all this time failing the obstacle in Sierra Morena. And out of curiosity. I went threw the door that leads right where start. Smh now I got to it all over again:(

Fortunately, for me i bought the bundle which came with the dlc so im good. If you messed it up buy the dlcs its only 2.99 on US PSN STORE.

i have 6 before i went to the final boss. you missed the one in the hell zone where you need to get 10 gold on the challenges(get 6 before end boss and then it says. tip: you feel lighter!) get those 6 and there is even room for a 7th lol(6th is only the left eye insted of both)

Since the el infierno challenges are a dlc, i dont think that the orb you get with that dlc has anything to do with the finding the orbs

just got this game for the xbox one, apparently there are 7 orbs instead of 6 on that version anyone know where the last one is?

Trophies are like grades, platinums are platinums for a reason :P They're not meant to be easy, you're supposed to work for them

And it says "You Feel Lighter." You screwed up. Therefore you must have el infierno dlc in order to platinum the game if you messed the orb thing up.
I'm stuck at the buzz saw. At the tree, it feels like that's the only hard part the rest is fairly easy! I'm trying to use goat fly but I can't seem to get ut right. I love this game but is so hard.
I don't understand. I did all these last night. I come back today to finish the last boss and it said that it was my fifth one. I thought maybe I missed one so I just redid every single one. But every door I enter, it doesn't have any pieces to give. When I beat the boss, I only get ONE eye. You get both of them. My game bugged? I mean I LITERALLY REDID every one of these to make sure I wasn't missing any. I even beat the boss a second time. FUCKING GAME

SPOILERS!!! Finally got 5th one and re-kicked Calacas ass for the 6th! Alternate ending was great!!! Even the credits were different! Still need two chests for platinum...took me 7 hrs to finish
How the HELL did you clear these without falling/failing? Took me like a half hour at least for the teleporting platforms.
