Who ever designed this sidequest did an awful job. The arena is too small which means the guy gets knocked out of your reach when you go to pull off one of your moves.

This sidequest does a great job of showing you powerful ways to string moves together that you might not have realized, like rolling after a hit to chase someone down. It even paces nicely, starting simple and requiring very few moves and very little stamina, and gradually introducing longer combos that require you to have more moves/upgrades. That doesn't even make sense. If the arena were "too small" then the guy wouldn't be able to get away from you. And even if that were true, which it isn't, then the problem would be with the moves and their effects, not the quest. The problem is not the quest. The problem is that you can't press a sequence of buttons quickly and correctly, and given that this is a beat-em-up, that's an expected part of the game. It's not even like this is Street Fighter and it has a bunch of complicated inputs that are purposely hard to do! Every move in the whole game is either a single button, or a single button plus a direction. It's almost impossible to come up with an easier scheme. The problem is you.
FINALLY managed to do the last combo of this whole quest. Just a tip, after the triple square at the end, make you he does all three moves before pressing CIRCLE, I kept pressing circle too early and my player kept doing two punches and then a headbut.
Lol, that 1:29 on a keyboard is imposibru. Keyboard lag makes this insanly hard to pull off. The guy just fly too far if you dont time second punch exactly right xD
Stuck at 1:29 and accepting the fact that I will never finish these combos.

+Mister Guy lol no one uses complex combos in this game. it's just the base moves you learn along the way, basic hits, and constant dodge rolling.

The jump on that last combo is what keeps throwing me off. I jump and completely miss the dude with the melee attacks that follow.
