Do you have the link of the turn table
I am 67 years old, I really enjoy watching your tutorials. You are still young and you have good knowledge and very happy for you. Congratulations.
Thank you Mario! It is my pleasure creating product photography setups
🔊 Limiter setting on my mic caused the audio effect! Thanks for tuning in :)
Hey dude, found your channel because you wrote the URL in my Hamlet textbook at my high school in 2012. Good to see you're still posting!
How has your channel not more subscribers? Insane results on a budget, EVERYTIME ! Beautiful and so clever, keep up the good work!
I love this youtube channel, and your tutorials!
Wow this was very cool. I only found this video and channel because I was looking for MIOPS turntable videos. You have a very good teaching style and your results are fantastic!!
Love you!!
Great timing, I just bought one of these $20 spinners off Amazon. 👍⚡💯
Right on I would love to see the result!
Cool! :)
Keep up the good work!
Cheers Sina!
Love this and would like to try it out. Which turntable did you decide on? I looked through the product links, but don't see it.
Hey Dustin, can i PLEASE convince you to export and upload your videos in 4k (even if you work on a 1080p timeline). It's going to allow more bitrate and we won't get so much banding and blocking.
Asides from that, absolutely love this channel and your tutorials are great! Keep it up!
awesome!
Cheers frank!
Hi Dustin another great video , I started offering these spins to my clients a few months ago. I found a turntable on Amazon for about $200(commix?) and then discovered continuous lights to be a easier option I also use capture one as the live view is really handy but my biggest tip is the host I experimented with a couple and found SIRV the fastest loading.
Thanks Kevin, that's always a route to go as well. Best of luck with 360s
Hi Dustin. I try to extrapolate as much information from your videos as possible, especially in your studio 'workphlo'. Camera angle, lighting position, diffuser etc. My difficulty is with PS. It's not a secret that I'm a novice at PS. I feel you might get additional mileage from your channel by dedicating a segment on just the PS workphlo, as you are obviously a master. I know I would find this informative and provide experience as well. Thanks for listening.
My respects!
i would like to see a video of you handing sunglasses with print on the side in. a 360 shot? possible
Nice!
Cheers Alejandro
Great video! I looked all over and noticed that you did not share what turntable you are using. Any info on that? Thanks!
hey, can you teach porcelain ware product photography in a white background like plate Bowl mugs & gold-plated Bowls as well?
Which turn table did you use for this?
Could you do a shot of a glow bulb?
Hello Dustin,
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
in minute 2:40 of the video there is the device that rotates the table and it is not in the list of used products, do you have the link or the model specification?
Thanks.
I would be interested to know what kind of turntable it is that even has its own app.
Does anyone know if eBay let's you upload 3D product images on any categories yet?
Not a 360 Specific bit of information but that haze or muddiness on the edges can be greatly reduced with a C-POL filter.
I use one basically all the time for product shooting.
Does this work on metal reflection or only glass ones?
@@uploadsnstuff8902 should work on metal as well.
Shiny metal is particularly a pain as you need something for it to reflect off of to make it bright. I usually use a bounce card held up at an angle and try and keep it mostly out of frame.
That is smth I do outdoors with the buildings which is called a hyperlapse 😉
What are the advantages of shooting stills as oppose to capturing a product on video ?
I love 360 elements that attach to normal light stands, because I am used to speedlight shooting and have many relevant modifiers, but a constant lighting approach could totally work for video. I also prefer the raw editing capabilities of stills I don't have in video (yet)
It has better Big O implementation for website load times
@@lucasmetro what do you mean by a BIG O?
@@speliotis en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_O_notation
If you are hosting a site either onprem on cloud its cheaper and easier to use picture stills than video. These 360 picst stills are just a collection of 4-360 pictures that reduce the amount of computing power you need onsite. unless you're linking a youtube video as efficient as youre gonna get for a noob.
I have to shoot product photography for a large item I sell (48" x 31" x 12"). Can I rest this item on a 24" diameter turntable, and simply photoshop the turntable and background out?
Hey man i was just referred to your channel because im looking to begin in product photography, and ive been thinking to begin with only speedlights, im sorry if this has been answered before, but how many do you recommend having or whats like the sweetspot? Do you have like a basic kit you would recommend starting with?
Did you mention what focal length you were shooting in and why you landed on that distance?
I didn't! But I was at what I consider to be a reasonably standard distance for not over distorting around 70mm effectively with a crop sensor. Cheers!
It's really cool...But I would like to see how we can achieve the same result using a manual turntable stand-especially taking 120 or 24 pics with the same consistent angle. I asked bcoz of budget concern :-)
I would like to see the result! The good thing is, turntables are getting cheaper every year
@@workphlo This can easly be done manually with a dollar store kitchen turntable. Simple math and you can measure and divide the circumference into a graduated rotational protractor with sharpie marks at whatever interval you need.
Another tip: By taking a number of photos that has many natural divisors you gain a lot of flexibility when delivering to your clients. E.g. 36 shots. You can deliver all 36 for super-smooth scrolling but long load times, every 2nd photo resulting in 18 angles, every 3rd resulting in 12 angles, ...
♥️
Thanks for watching our product photography tutorials, Saleh!
how's the continuous motion on this thing?
It's smooth!
So talented. Wish you would return.
where are you? its been a while
