What bothers me most is the sliding of things off of good wood antiques. Worry about scratching. Why don't you carry a sm. baby blanket or linen dish towel in your purse to cushion things in your cart? Better safe than sorry.

🦋Early this year, I bought a Giraffe handle mug at Goodwill in Clinton Ct for $1.99 and sold it for $25. Cool fish dish, I believe you’ll get around $60 for it. That dog is as tall as I am.
On Labor Day in CT most Goodwill Stores are 1/2 price on everything in the store. I’m going to check out here in NC, tomorrow to see if they follow that policy.
Since you are from NC I have a question. I live on TN.Nc.line I'm about 45 minutes from ashville. Is there a Goodwill there? I googled it but all I got was long list of Goodwill's no numbers just told what a Goodwill store is. Thanks for any info. If your farther from that area and have no idea that's fine also. I understand.

So true about antique shops. I went to one yesterday and pretty much cleaned a booth out of art pottery and glass that was 75% off! I also bought an antique hand embroidered linen table cloth for $5!

Crack or not I'd just place that glass toward the back on display. I'm so wanting that brown pitcher w matching glasses. Oooh so lovely. Then the brown fish came out. I have no need for it but would love to have that also. Lol. My wants are going to get me,or my dad or my mother maybe the uncle too. I have totes full in all their spare closets garages barns also rooms and basements. The lady who rescued that lil ( lol) doggie standing ovation to her. U no I'm very huge on rescued animals (11) myself. She had an amazing heart. I'd rescue the homeless if my pocket book had unlimited supply of cash sadly it is not. This shop had some truely adorable peices and sets. I'd love to visit but on my budget until Corona is over I better just shop through you. Thanks alot for sharing. I enjoyed every minute. I enjoy your visits more to non-Goodwill type stores. When you visit antique stores, there are more beautiful, nice, interesting items to look at and take in. Goodwill not not so much!

Struck out at an estate sale off the beaten path yesterday so I stopped in at an antique mall in a small town near me. Was excited to see many sale signs but my excitement quickly faded when I realized even their 75% off price was equal to or more than the going rate on eBay. Not sure how they are doing any business out there like that. Did pick up a few things but nothing to write home about.
