- Dagny had a gift card to spend, so we met up at Antiques Marketplace of Lemoyne. We spent some time browsing the antique mall for deals. After shopping, I took you back to the shop to dig through auction winnings.

01:23 And you have got hold of some cadmium glass there, just like last week.
01:39 I'm not dead positive, but I _think_ it's a fencer's facemask, or something very much like one.
02:05 Steve Poe. For once, somebody signed a piece legibly.
02:35 In German, it says "Rudolf Rempel, sculptor". The little I was able to find gave his dates as 1892 to 1970, and that he worked for various Stuttgart porcelain manufacturers. He appears to have been active from the 1920s through the 1960s. I think he's worth looking into further, and forty bucks might well be a good price for that piece.
03:36 Cranes I think, given they have a crest on the head. And I'd want to give them a second look to see whether they're really brass, or bronze.
04:23 But it doesn't say "SOME PIG"! (I think the hinges might have been replaced, given how shiny-bright they are.)
04:54 The double spout makes me think of those restaurant pitchers made so you can pour drinks either forward or sideways into the customer's glass.
05:28 Trento is a city in northern Italy. It used to be part of Austria-Hungary, but was grabbed by Italy after World War I. (I was just thinking it would make an excellent decanter.)
06:40 Ooh, he's a medieval dolphin. Very nice, and I wish there were two of him.
07:19 DANG but that is pretty! It looks like a paella dish.
10:40 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Shades of my lost youth, and high school marching band! No, that is somebody's band shako, with its plume still in place.
12:21 New Trends Inc. was an MCM firm specializing in papier-mâché (he ain't no ceramic). I'd guess 1965 to 1975.
12:56 That's the kind of piece you'd find in a Texas bar, set up on a shelf where the regulars can contemplate it owlishly over their beers.
19:56 Sancho Panza (PAHN-zuh), Don Quixote's servant and sidekick. Funny point: "panza" is the Spanish word for "belly," implying that Sancho is short and fat. Related to that, _panzón_ is the slang word used in Mexico for a beer gut.
Bill Campell is very desirable for resale. He retired last June, after 30 years. He had his wares in over 350 galleries all over the country. His shop was15 minutes out of Erie. I collect his pottery and Italian pottery for years. I once found one of his lamps for a$1.00 at a local garage sale! Look him up, he has many different glazes to offer. I love that you found him at last. Bye for now, Jocelyn. Take care, Theresa
The brown ceramic bowl that you had trouble reading the name is Steve Poe. His pieces are up on eBay and looks like they do fairly well. Another great episode. ♥️
Your giggles together shopping always make me laugh!
Always love your videos! A message to anyone who reads this- Cherish good friends, they are a gift not all of us recieve! Love you two and sense of humor!😁
Good guess. It is a fencing mask/shield
I second that! Lost my friend last year! 💔
@@vickiromines1552 an empty place only memories can fill💔
They are blessed
Oh Jocelyn, I was sitting here squinting because you said to. Lol
Always have fun shopping with you and Dagney. Enjoy yourselves !
I remember as a kid in the 60’s being so impressed with the little mink poodle pins that were so popular. “It’s REAL MINK!”
Lucy and Ethel go antique shopping!!!
Two Lucy’s!
@@BarbaraMonahan so true.
Oh WoW Congratulations Jocelyn and Andrew on your baby girl together
I’d LOVE to have that spider web box! 😍 I’d love to use it as a gift for one of the fans of my book, “Along Came a Spider”. ☺️🕷
I absolutely LOVE art pottery! I inherited my mom's "David Enna" collection last year & I am really enjoying it. He is a local Mt. Hood, Oregon potter & a lot of his pieces have a mountain scene on them. I remember my mom buying his work & spending a lot of money on it, so I am very happy to have it now. Thank you for sharing, Jocelyn! You are appreciated!! 💕
I painted that red ware pitcher that Dagney picked up! Eldreth pottery!
I would have bought that beautiful ❤️🇭🇲
@@annetteburns1546 ❤️❤️
Ashton is going to love that aquarium. Nice finds with Dagny. Also love seeing your auction wins.
Such wonders in the places you shop in! Love that glowing yellow bowl😍😍😍💛💛💛.
Another fantastic video. I love love love any kind of pottery. ❤ 2 days ago I finally found the last piece of Hull Pottery Soup Bowls. My Mom had 4 sets of the soup/sandwich plate sets. I'm 63 years old and have moved 54 times. Some how 3 of the Bowls were lost. I now have the sets completed. It gives me great joy to start enjoying them again. 😊 Blessings to you and your family.
The aquarium light is spectacular, Jocelyn 🌟 And now I want one and will begin my quest 💗🐆🌻
I loved that little blue deer next to the succulent you bought. I used to pick up a lot of small animal planters for a quarter. Just because I liked them. Gonna have to check their bottoms for id!
Oh my goodness!!! 😂 I just love the friendship you two share. So fun! Lots of great purchases today.
5:39 in a world we live in today what a delight to see you two laughing together while you work. True friends are hard to find. Be nice to see yall do a vlog together like go on vacation at an antique bed and breakfast together.
I had a best friend who was a you tuber her name was Mel Thompson. Sadly she died from mental health issues last Sept 26. I believe you tube made her distant from reality and true friends. Don't ever let you tube take away your reality and turn friendship.
I miss my Mel.
I had that little girl with the pink overalls bank when I was little!!! It was deja vu!!
Love all your videos. You are the best. One time when you unboxed auction pieces you also mentioned what you might expect pieces to go for. That was especially enjoyable and educational.
Hi. just FYI the larger pottery pieces especially platters are worth more just for the fact that they don’t always survive the kiln firing. very high rate of breakages.
so when you see one it’s extra special cause it survived 2 firings.
always a pleasure to see them.
Everything that Glows is COOL. 🥰
Stay well and lean on friends and family as you take on more direct work with listing.
Having worked for a veterinarian for 30 years, there is a relatively simple surgical procedure that can be performed that removes the excess skin and wrinkles around the eyes.
To all those wondering, I’m sure she is eating vegetarian sushi. That’s what my sushi loving nieces ate during their pregnancies. Happy shopping.
Yeah I really was wondering 😆
I thought maybe people have now just ruled out sushi as being okay to eat sort of like eggs are good one day and eggs are bad the next.
I being a vegetarian love vegetarian sushi I sure hope she eats in good health.
Your hair looks great in the intro.
You really are beaming lately. I think motherhood agrees with you as if you could look any better!.
Oops I thought it were done but now I’m seeing jewelry and there are the Cameos!😍😍😍,face vase😍
Nice shopping trip and overview of your inventory. Always so much fun.
Happy Birthday Ashton! What an awesome gift.
🤣Of course that planter was for a succulent! Now I have to pause and go get a glass of wine...... make that 2. It's a game I play while watching these videos. Every time Jocelyn uses the word succulent, it's bottoms up!🥳
Jocelyn you are just as sweet as you are beautiful. I have shown some of my friends your videos and they think your complexion is flawless too.
Ahhh! Just below the vase is the Hazel Atlas dishes I need for my collection....
Was watching one of my other favorites #aquachigger and lo and behold who pops up You and Andrew ! How cool is that!!! Exciting stuff I love to do the same. You rock!
Water the succulents when the leaves r soft....u can also tell when the pot feels light
Joss, such neat things you have been getting.. I remember when you first started...you have come a very long way... can't wait to see your new house and the nursery... have you picked any names yet?
I love love the Siamese.
You are looking great! I can't believe you can keep going like this. June is right around the corner.
Hi, Jocelyn! Could you give a tour of your antique booths as well? I'm checking into getting one in my area and love watching videos of how others do theirs 🥰 Thanks for all that you do!
It's Seagrove, NC but I don't think there is enough mica look and feel to it to be crystalline. I have a number of pieces - I love my miniatures the most as they don't make them often.
Glad its another girls thrifting show! Yay!
You do have an eye for beautiful pottery that’s for sure!
With only 5 weeks until you little arrives, you should be doing much more shop stuff! Rest while you can! 🥰
9 Weeks. 😅
@@CrazyLampLady my maths is bad that’s for sure! 😂
Can't wait to see what else is in those boxes now.
Trenton is region in Italy that specializes in water to drink that maintains healthy balance, think sparkling water and wines!
You were my first ever goodwill shoppers. You and Andrews. So happy for you and the baby news. You are my all time favorite. Bless you and your family.
Just do your best. We will be here for any videos you're able to get out.
I love the laughing and giggling!
Sancho Panza. He is a character in Don Quixote
The lid that you think reads "sale" may be right. "Sale" is Italian for "salt". Perhaps you found a salt cellar. 🧂 😊
Hi, I just love those day-glo colored banks from the 70’s. I pick them up every time I see them while thrifting and sourcing:) Thanks so much for teaching me so many things about glass and pottery! Your the best!
You two are a hoot. Love watching
I like the HA Pink Crinolene dishes.
Trento is an town in Italy.
Good shopping, Jocelyn
Yellow glass glowing bowl😍. That’s what I thought some kind of fencing mask. Yellow pitcher, fairy and butterfly picture, carnival bowl.
Love the orange vase
I saw the treasure craft cookie jar I am looking for right behind that cool owl bank! 🤔
My Burmese doesn't glow but the outside is thicker and definitely Fanton. My Vaseline glass really shines. My favorite is a stand for Teaberry Gum.
My son's birthday is so in April! Love the colorful owl!
Just found out you are having a baby. Congratulations. I really enjoy watching you Do what is best for you and your family.
Blue bottle is a decanter usually liquor.
Very educational video. Thanks Jocelyn. Not only do I love your videos I also love the knowledge I gained from you. Happy thrifting
Sancho Panza is from Man of La Mancha, the chubby side kick.
"Sancho Pança" (or Sancho Panza, that's how we usually spell it in modern Spanish) is actually Don Quixote's sidekick
LOL, I squinted...Love your channel
The dog is mink. My grandmother gave me one of these when I was a kid but they were a pair of mink. Still have it.
Hello I'm late coming in but always happy when a new video posts
If the talavera pottery doesn't say lead free it might be older and made with lead paint, so don't use it for food.
Lovely things today
I like Doreen's hobby piece cat. I'm way too far away to get it tho.
Good finds!!!!!
Hi, love your channel.
The small potery with the lid on it (yes it goes on it) is a small reproduction of a traditional tajine plate from Morocco and the mark is "Salé" which is a famous town known for its great potery 😉
I think the mesh item with the ribbons is a form to make the "Amish" bonnets.
Awesome and fun shop along with you and Dagny! I love anything Alice In Wonderland!!
Seagrove is in NC. It is a fascinating area of potteries. Great road trip!
A little girl yeah!!!!!!!!!
@4:57 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I'm going to buy one now!! 💯 How can I not? 🤩😍😂🤣🤣😂
The pottery looks like a fighting 🦞 lobster
Haha. Maybe it is!
Take a picture of chart so you can always have it in your phone save to photos
I Love these antique markets♡
& The brass bird candleholder's..And that big pink glass flamingo & The Siamese cat are my favourites! .. Actually,Trento is a University/place in Italy..
That aquarium lamp is awesome!!!!
Ashton is going to lovvve that lamp! ♡
Trento is also a city in Italy that was Annexed from Austria in 1919. It originally was a Celtic settlement dating back to 100bce. It's also one of the wealthiest cities in Italy.
The McCoy pitcher should have a basin with it, I bought one new in 81.
Love the auction items. Can't wait to see the jewelry. Take care.
Oh Jocelyn, can’t you persuade Dagny to buy a few more things!! I’m always yelling at her!! She picks up the coolest things then puts them back…” too heavy”, I need to sell something else first, etc….phooey!! That red ware piece at the beginning of the video was just darling!! She put it back!! Just shaking my head!
She says she really doesn’t have much room to store things.
Love the unboxing
I noticed in your “sold” videos, that the Murano pieces are not selling for as much as they had been. Kinda depressing, I love Murano Glass, especially the smaller pieces.
Oh my goodness, there were so many ads during this video. But love your videos so much I stuck with it. Have a wonderful day.
Jos. If there’s a college near with a big art program I’m sure a student would love to learn about objects. ( art administration) is a big major. Maybe an internship for them. And they can learn and help you as well. 😊❤️
I'm gullible I was squinting away. I'm glad you said jk otherwise, well you know...
Lol…me too!
Trento is a city in Italy.
Great shopping trip.
Great stuff today! Thanks for all the info. Really appreciate it. I learn so much from you.
My birthday is tomorrow and I love that bright Aries item.
Sancho Panza from Don Quixote
Great birthday present for all ages.
Hey Jocelyn, I’ll bet money the poodle pin is mink…I sold 2 very similar pins w/I the past year:)
Love your hair!!
Why are you doing so much of the listing? I know that Dina had some days off & I truly hope that all is well with her! Be sure that you aren’t overextending yourself sweetie. Sending the whole fam lots of hugs, love & prayers for a wonderful & blessed week 🤗💜🙏🏻!
We no longer have listers.
@@CrazyLampLady I don't know how practical it would be, but if you hire to replace the people that quit, what if you had someone just do photography and one person just do listing? Just a thought I had, but maybe that would make it more complicated instead of less
@@CrazyLampLady Oh my honey! Please take good care of yourself & your precious baby girl! No matter what, we as a family support you 💜!
@@CrazyLampLady That's really tough on you and Andrew, especially so close to due date. I am sure that I wasn't the only viewer impressed by the congregate knowledge pool you had working for you.
Lol yup I was squinting 😂
I Loved video thank you for sharing.
Your hair looks great in the car
