The BBC commentator is so annoying. If Albania gives 12 points to Serbia&Montenegro then it's political voting but when Ireland gives points to the UK it's ok. I saw more voting videos and everytime a Balkan country(Serbia,Greece,Romania,Albania, Bulgaria) gets 12 points he says that it's political voting.

Italy shown something this year (2021) like Ruslana: energy, real feelings and hard work. I am very happy that Eurovision is now coming back to something real, to natural emotions. People are tired of artificial artists and their artificial performances. As for me, I was a Ruslana's fun from time being a little kid, from time Ruslana released her first songs in career 😊 So it was My victory as well🏆 I was worried for her a lot, watching every news on TV about Eurovision. Terry Wogan - may he rest in peace - was an ignorant and bitter person, and may very well have contributed to the UK's bad performances. How is the country supposed to get enthusiastic and compose great songs for the contest if the commentator disses every single thing he sees and thus influences the public opinion? For example when Tose got 12 points from S-M, his words were completely uncalled for. He was totally ignoring the fact that Tose was a huge name all over the Balkans. He also ignored cultural-spatial musical tastes and traditions. He knew nothing, and his jealousy that came from other countries doing better than the UK was disgusting. He did so much more bad than good for Eurovision. This occasion, 2004, was the absolute worst. One of the most childish performances by a "professional" ever seen.

The voting is a bit similar to the 2009 Contest, Ukraine got 12 points and like 2009 the country that won was the last the country to vote! I see that Ukraine announcer and I'm like "He's a very happy man right now!"
"Wild dances" is right up there with defining songs like "Euphoria"... I am amazed that Ukraine wasn't on top of the leaderboard from the first minute...
Is it me or they have arranged the order of the countries giving points just to increase drama? For example in the begining and for much time Serbia and Montenegro was mainly in the lead and Ukraine didn't seem to be able to pass it.
For those who hate the commentator...Terry Wogan was brilliant and really funny in the 1980s and 1990s contests, but by 2004 he was getting bored with Eurovision and angry that the UK weren't doing well anymore, he retired in 2008 and died in 2016. I agree he's annoying here but he used to be much better.
I was so annoyed with the commentator (nothing to have with with my nationality or preferences). He was so soooooo soooooo hateful. The only times he was content was when UK got points (and he goes on about others voting for their neighbours...what a hypocritical approach). I'm so grateful for the commentators from my country bcs I never experienced this repulsive feeling while watching all the EU contests in my life. They were always objective and respectful. This guy just bashed all others. He only saw "bad" things. If you dont like it why did you accept to do it. Ugh I was soooo annoyed that I thought about finding his mail and giving him a piece of my mind. 😅 Good that I found your comment and didn't waste time on that. Also, if he commented all those years he should have been more knowledgeable. I was born in 1995 and I know Johnny won 2 times as a singer and as far as I know once as a writer in 2010s. But worst is his non stop sarcastic laughter. Ugh, I rest my case. I usually dont write long posts but this just shows how offended i felt in the name of all contestants he bashed.

Wogan is disgusting. Serbia&Montenegro and Turkey had great songs. Cyprus gave 12pts to Greece because Sakis Rouvas is the #1 pop artist in both countries for over a decade. He was so rude and did not know what he was talking about.

The voting is a bit similar to the 2009 Contest, Ukraine got 12 points and like 2009 the country that won was the last the country to vote! I see that Ukraine announcer and I'm like "He's a very happy man right now!"
"Wild dances" is right up there with defining songs like "Euphoria"... I am amazed that Ukraine wasn't on top of the leaderboard from the first minute...

Is it me or they have arranged the order of the countries giving points just to increase drama? For example in the begining and for much time Serbia and Montenegro was mainly in the lead and Ukraine didn't seem to be able to pass it.

For those who hate the commentator...Terry Wogan was brilliant and really funny in the 1980s and 1990s contests, but by 2004 he was getting bored with Eurovision and angry that the UK weren't doing well anymore, he retired in 2008 and died in 2016. I agree he's annoying here but he used to be much better.
I was so annoyed with the commentator (nothing to have with with my nationality or preferences). He was so soooooo soooooo hateful. The only times he was content was when UK got points (and he goes on about others voting for their neighbours...what a hypocritical approach). I'm so grateful for the commentators from my country bcs I never experienced this repulsive feeling while watching all the EU contests in my life. They were always objective and respectful. This guy just bashed all others. He only saw "bad" things. If you dont like it why did you accept to do it. Ugh I was soooo annoyed that I thought about finding his mail and giving him a piece of my mind. 😅 Good that I found your comment and didn't waste time on that.
Also, if he commented all those years he should have been more knowledgeable. I was born in 1995 and I know Johnny won 2 times as a singer and as far as I know once as a writer in 2010s.
But worst is his non stop sarcastic laughter. Ugh, I rest my case. I usually dont write long posts but this just shows how offended i felt in the name of all contestants he bashed.
