I will never forget Dana, I was a kid back then. Israel was far ahead of its time, even for me as a Dutch guy, by sending her in. That day was an eye-opener for me, one that "queers for Gaza" badly need. At least the 2024 televote will be for Israel.

The score of the new musical is within the purest Tin Pan Alley tradition and we predict that everybody is going to sing the songs very soon.
    Thank you very much

Macedonia’s first year of participating in Eurovision effectively sealed the end of Malta’s best ever chance of winning (Greece beat Malta into 2nd place by a far greater margin in 2005). On balance I still think Chiara’s ‘The One that I Love’ was the song to beat on the night and without the intervention of Macedonia, with the inevitable geopolitical voting bias, it would have been the deserved winner.

Blablabla. Some countries voted with juries instead of Televoting... that was 3x times zero points for Israel. So if all countries had used Televoting, Israel hadn't won that close... Malta was so overrated and because it was sung in English...

Agreed! If ever there was a song that's overrated, it was Malta. And 22 years after, it sounds even worse.
