What a fun little session. loads of bites, loads of fish. had a few really big whiting, a bull huss, and a few other bits and bobs, but i missed some really good fish. a couple of fish pulling all the way in came off, so left them for another day
Hope you enjoy

Never seen anyone so happy catching whiting 😂
Lol, well if I get into some more, you'll see it again. To be honest though, we don't really get many over here, and when we do, they aren't as big as that, so I was chuffed to get something to take home👍🎣🎣
Good Morning Dylan , Dylan please don't feel pressured into making video's mate , you enjoy your fishing first & Last , i'm sure we all will want to thank you for sharing your fishing adventures , this session was brilliant tbh , so as always take care & tight lines
Thanks Steve mate, that's very kind of you to say, and I'm glad you're still enjoying. It's only sometimes it gets a bit much, got myself in a bit of a corner. If I don't take the camera and I get into some decent fish then what😂😂. I'm all good now though thanks bud 👍🎣🎣
Dylan, love to see whiting caught on the island..your videos are brilliant ....if you ever need any help just shout....tight lines.
Ah thanks Simon, that's very kind of you. I'm really glad you are enjoying, and massively appreciate your support 👍👍🎣
Having a quiet Sunday catching up with your sessions..... this is a busy one..well done..... glad you are feeling a bit better..🥰
It was nice to get some whiting for dinner, and I was still home at a decent time. Much better thank you. X
Well done Dylan good night fishing and few fish for the grill lovely buddy happy days Clive
Cheers Clive mate, much appreciated thank you👍👍🎣
Lovely session, sometimes you have to do what you want to do, never mind being pressured into uploading videos, fishing , as with any hobby , is meant to be enjoyed otherwise it gets to be a chore. Good fish for dinner, take care Dylan, Norfolk Ray
Definitely mate, it did feel like it was getting a little like that, but I've definitely got my mojo back now though👍👍🎣
Well done Dylan, great looking whiting & I love the fact that you caught 2 bull huss, I wonder if the 1 you lost was a bigger conger, great to see you out fishing again, 😀
Thanks Simon buddy, I think looking back, it probably was a conger mate, it's a shame I couldn't have landed one of them, but I was still happy to get some interest in the baits. Fingers crossed next time I'll get them a bit better hooked😂👍🎣🎣🤞
Glad it didn’t take you long to get your mojo back Dylan 😂😂. I think a lot of people don’t realise the amount of hard work and effort you have to put in before, during and after your sessions. Nice to see you get something for your tea too 💪🐟🎣
Thanks keV mate, always appreciate your support mate, it's people like you that keep me going bud🎣👍👍🙏
😍🎣🐟, perhaps we could get out together sometime 😳
Hey Dylan, you might of started a bit down in the dumps but, after those first 2 whiting soon pepped up. Good on you mate enjoy the moment. 😅
Thanks buddy, it was funny doing the edit, because you could really see the mood change😂👍🎣
Totally with you mate, not all about posing with double figure rays, those whiting & pout were banging pal, I would have been well chuffed with those, think you may have lost a couple more Huss there, they love hanging on to the bait then just letting go! Struggling for fishing time at the mo so this is great to see, thanks for sharing this cracking session with us, could see how much you enjoyed it….take care my friend😎👍👍
Ah thanks dude, always appreciate your comments, yeah I agree, for me at least, it's about fishing, of course it's nice to catch big fish, and I'll take them when they come, but I enjoy fishing, and the anticipation of what might be. You aren't the only person that said they were probably huss. Shame I didn't land one, but they are there for next time. Take care buddy👍👍🎣🎣🙏
another good view, glad to see you are up and about after not feeling too good, some nice fish caught(and lost), good luck for next comp.
Thanks buddy, yeah all good now. Would have been nice to see what those fish were, but I still really enjoyed the session. It's made me want to go back there for sure👍🎣🎣
Very enjoyable watch thanks for sharing 🎣 👌 👍
Cheers buddy, glad you enjoyed👍🎣🎣
Wonderful fishing Dylan - na na na na batman lol. See you tomorrow night.
Lol, thanks Sharon, I kept a look out for robin, but no sign 😂😂👍🎣🎣
Hi Dylan, it's a very good chance that those bigger fish you lost were all Huss, when they come in you usually catch a few in a session (well they do up here anyway!) Huss are also masters at spitting the hook close in, haven't a clue how they do it but lost loads as you have tonight.
Thanks mate, you aren't the only person to say that. Became a bit frustrating at times, so had to remind myself that it was still a really fun session👍🎣🎣
little sessions like that help get you going again
Defo buddy, couldn't agree more, definitely feel like I'm enjoying again👍🎣🎣
Always use the best terminal tackle you can afford mate most important part of your tackle.
Yeah thanks buddy, I think there is definitely something to that👍🎣🎣
Cracking little session Dylian nice size whiting 👌👌
Thanks mark buddy, much appreciated 👍🎣🎣
Nice busy session Dylan, plenty of action on the rod tips.
Think those dropped fish were Huss. They are notorious for hanging on to baits then spitting them out at the last moment.
Maybe try smaller thumb size baits on a dongle rig with a 5/0 full circle hook and the fish pretty much hook themselves.
My thought is a small fat bait is better than a long bait.
Another top video buddy, good luck in your comp and thanks for sharing.
Thanks Richie mate, yeah I think someone else mentioned they might have been huss aswell. They definitely felt like better fish. I'm still a bit uncertain of the dongle rig, I know they work, but I feel with a normal pennel you have the added benefit of that extra hook, but I am going to start using the circle for the pennel I think. Thanks for the tips mate, always appreciated👍🎣🎣
Another brilliant video buddy...you are so natural...fishing and video....Fantastic !!!
Thanks Tim mate that's very kind of you to say, that's all I've ever wanted from the videos, then to be just showing me fishing, no frills👍🎣🎣
Welcome back Dylan, nice productive session there, frustrating when you lose decent fish but you still had a good mixed bag. It always seems to be the impromptu sessions that come up trumps. Hope you feel better soon. Also hope you did well in the competition 🐟.
Thanks Chris, and yes completely agree, it's always the unplanned sessions that seem to go better. Just grab the fishing gear and go, no targets, no thoughts of big fish, just go fishing and it usually pays off👍🎣🎣
Great to see someone so enthusiastic about fishing.
To me, fishing is great fun, and catching a fish is a bonus.
Keep on making the videos, but don't let it spoil your fun.
Thanks Nigel mate, I'm really glad you're enjoying the vids buddy👍🎣🎣
Hello Dylan👋
I've been watching your videos just recently and really enjoyed them well done on the fish and the different species good luck in your remaining matches tight lines 👍 🎣
Thanks buddy, that's really nice to hear, and is very much appreciated 👍🎣🎣
thats why we go,, well done mate, could see that was a fight to get yourself out, that session pumped the blood back in you,,, from drained to full charge,,, and it was visible to myself,, good watch
Absolutely mate, I'm so glad it came across, my mood completely changed as soon as I started to bait up. And what a fun little session.👍🎣🎣
spot on, keep at it mate, hope you catch some monkeys @@FrugalOutdoors
Great stuff!
Been watching the videos for a while now & always good, keep it up mate!
A really nice mixed bag there.
Glad to see someone who likes whiting, we're usually sick of them here!
Thanks buddy, that's great to hear, and much appreciated 👍👍🎣🎣
Great to see you back and hopefully you’ve got your mojo back it did seem so 👏👏👏
The rigs are the ones I saw mark Williams make 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Martin, yes buddy you're bang on there, that's where I saw it and watched his give to on it, very good channel, really informative 👍👍🎣🎣
top sesh mate and another great vid. good too see plenty of fish coming out =)
Thanks buddy, and hope to see you on the next one, get well soon dude👍👍🎣
Good to see you back, Dylan, always look forward to your video on Friday. Good session, well done, and good luck for the comp!
Thanks Steve buddy, very nice of you to say. Was a hard session for sure on Saturday, very hit and miss for everyone I think👍🎣🎣
Hi Dylan ,very good to see you about again , sorry to see your feeling a bit unwell, as other Fisher folk I was wondering about how you and your family coped with all that weather and flooding you had on the island, your mojo will soon recover, once you get a few more fishing sessions under your belt the cloud will soon lift, keep up with the videos and tight lines 👍
Ah thanks Brian, we were quite lucky our side of the island, lots of flooded roads, but we got away quite lightly compared to some other places in the island. Mojo I would say is most definitely back😂👍🎣🎣
Glad to hear it Dylan 😁👍
2 photos in Sea Angler, that’s showing off 😂😂🎣🐟
Get your eyes tested Kev, there's 3 lol😂😂😀😀👍🎣🎣🙏
😂😂🤦♂️😳🐟🎣
Looks like you properly enjoyed yourself mate, good to see you out again , hope your comp went well dude, had a turbot off yaverland last Sunday while down 😁, hope your fully recovered now, appreciate your efforts 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks mate, and get in on the turbot, I've seen too come out over that way, but still not had one myself. Hope you had a good session though mate👍👍🎣🎣
yes glad you enjoying it again as i am after landing 8 plus pound thorny off ryde pier on saturday
Thanks buddy, and that's awesome. I still haven't had a thornback, there has been a couple at Yarmouth pier, so I'm hoping to get out over that way at some point 👍🎣🎣
Great to see ya back on Dylan. Well done pal. 👍
Thanks dude, much appreciated 👍🎣🎣
Well done Dylan bud 👍 cracking session mate 👌
Thanks mate, much appreciated as always👍🎣🎣
Nice little session good size whiting as well, glad you got your mojo back 👍
Thanks buddy, much appreciated, I think I can definitely say I've got my mojo back😀🎣👍👍
Hi Dylan ... That is indeed an easy access venue ... Just perfect for oldies like me 😊 ... Three nice whiting for dinner, dinner, dinner (Bat man)😂 ... Whiting, make a lovely fish pie 😋 ... A good session to raise the spirits, before Saturday's competition ... Good luck, John.👍🎣🎣🐟🐟 ... Ps, don't think negative about lost fish, it happens to everyone ...
Thanks for that John, and yes it made for a lovely dinner dinner dinner😂, I had to leave it in the edit😂👍🎣🎣
Another good video again mate 🎣 👍🏻
Thanks buddy, glad you enjoyed 👍🎣🎣
no matter how u feeling.. getting out and putting a rod out changes everything u can see this in the video how u felt at the start to how u was at the end.. i think nortons a great place.. you have a chance of catching anything there..ive even had a squid there.. this i a cracking video bud but make sure u do the odd trip without the camera so not so stressful..tight lines bud..🎣👍🏻
Thanks Phil, wise words there buddy. Yeah Norton is a funny venue, I do like it because like you say, there is a chance of anything there, but when that tide rips on the ebb, it can be so difficult. Great to hear you had squid there though👍🎣🎣🙏
@@FrugalOutdoors yeah i think that squid just wanted the bait and fail hooked ive had a squid just up by ferry platform as well on a lure..this was all many years ago though..just getting fishing gear sorted over xmas..(gifts) and chatted to gord about joining the club which he said no problem..as been friend for 10+ yrs.. so will be seeing you in near future on comps ..👍🏻
Seen some big whiting pulled out this winter. Up north and down south.
Yeah man, it's really good to see isn't it, hopefully there is some big old fish feeding on them👍🎣🎣
You may not have started out as being excited to be out fishing, but I was! Every time your rod tip moved I was shouting "Oy! Dylan!"
Re editing: have you thought about going on (e.g.) Fiver to get someone to edit your videos for you? It'd cost £10, £20, each time, but if you find someone you like then you'd be free just to fish! I love your videos. I want more. They're better than most of MSM TV. I don't want editing chores to slow you down. Fund it through Patreon!
Thanks David, yeah it really was a good fun session, the rods literally didn't stop moving. Regarding getting someone else to do the edits, I really couldn't justify paying someone to do it for me, I do obviously get a bit through ads etc, but not enough to pay someone to edit 😂😂👍🎣🎣
Excellent video cheers!
Awesome man, thank you, I'm really chuffed you enjoyed 👍🎣🎣
Hello Dylan I think that rig is called a pulley dropper love watching your videos
Single running drop down pulley rig is the technical name
I'm not sure, because it's got that extra snood on the top, I quite like it though, but if a fiddle to make😂😂👍🎣
Ah there we go, thanks buddy 👍🎣🎣
Nice one mate
Thanks buddy, nice easy session, and it was needed to be honest 👍👍🎣
Great video 👍
Thanks Phil glad you enjoyed mate👍🎣🎣
Three photos on page 36 sea angler magazine Dylan, great fish 👍
Ah awesome mate, I haven't seen it yet, still waiting on mine to turn up😂👍🎣🎣
Nice fish mate you inspired me to do sea fishing as I’ve only been doing it for about 7 months and I recently landed my pb bass it was 5.8 lb
That's awesome buddy, and it seems like you're really enjoying it too, which is great. That's a lovely fish mate, we haven't got long before we can't keep them, end of this month I think🎣🎣👍👍
@@FrugalOutdoorsyea it’s a shame but I wanna get a doggy this winter
Really enjoyed your Video, fish lost ,Bitten off , may I suggest bigger Bull Huss
Thanks Tony, a few people have mentioned it might have been huss, apparently they have a habit of letting go. I'll be sharpening my hooks next time😉👍🙏🙏
Great 👍
Thanks mate👍🎣🎣
Eazy dylan you ok pal , well done on your session. Ive been battling frew whiting that size on the humber for 2 weeks now lol. All the best from GRIMSBY.
Hey buddy, I'd be happy to be battling them, couldn't find one at the weekend, so I'm hoping they'll be about for next time. Having said that, I'm thinking of having a couple of bass sessions before we can't keep any👍👍🎣🎣
Cracking session nothing wrong with whiting ,hope you get better soon
Cheers buddy, yeah I was well happy to be honest, I know people find them a pain, but I say eat them 😂👍🎣🎣
Excellent session mate your enthusiasm comes across really well , would love to catch a bull Huss still never had one !!
Good luck Saturday with the comp mate 👍🏽
Thanks dude, a few people have commented that the lost fish might have also been huss. Get yourself down there, such an easy venue 👍🎣🎣
Hi dude, amazing session looks like a nice place to fish. Good luck in the comp on Saturday. Hopefully, I'll be out on weds after 3 weeks off
I bet you're chomping at the bit to get out buddy, hopefully it fishes well for you👍🎣🎣
@FrugalOutdoors yes, I can not wait to get out. Fishing with good mates and letting the world go by and maybe a fish or two 🎣🎣
Your becoming a very accomplished angler, leaving us poor morals behind. A great and very entertaining vid'. Q: Did you buy yourself a fishing umbrella and was it worth it, do you use it.
Thanks Richard, I think it's more about getting out as much as you can, and trying loads of different things to find what works for you, and in my case as it is probably for everyone, keep it simple😂😂😂. I still have a go with a complicated rig though, can't help myself. I did get a brollie, and found it to be quite good. Not the best in high wind, but to be honest, I don't often find myself fishing in much more than gusting 30. I bought one, that can sit on the floor so you can sit under it👍🎣🎣
Shame about the lost ones
Thanks buddy, maybe next time👍🎣🎣🙏
Hi mate what is the intro music really like it?
Hey mate, it's a track called guess I'll never know, it's by trackvibe, which is a collective of musicians that do music with copyright, so I can use it on the videos etc👍👍🎣
Hi Dylan, just putting it out there...those lost fish...codling?
Hey Martin mate, wouldn't that be something, definitely worth another go down there. Well done on Saturday mate, smashed it🎣🎣👍👍
