Except that one time in the Great crusade Jaghatai khan got so mad he was killing orks so fast that he made them not like fighting and ran from him.
I'd say that the orks making lemonade from lemons, but in actuality, they have made the lemons into an incinderary device. Cave Johnson would be proud.

In Ragnar's Claw, the Space Wolves steal an Ork vehicle and acciddentally provoke a whole Ork detachment to race them.
It's like a dream come true.

@@slambler6702nah the power of Ork imagination is strong, but not that strong. whatever they make still NEEDS to at least function on a basic level (i.e. it needs to be able to at least fire a bullet), so that when an Ork uses it, it becomes perfect in their hands

serval games have been tried. The latest was with flyboys (ork fighter game)
There was an Ork vehicle combat game that was being developed all the way back for the Dreamcast. It was called GorkaMorka. All thats left for it is its opening cutscene and a really rough demo.
I would say it is more Crossout like game

A guy at the local store wrote a ruleset for custom orc vehicles, and then we used to race them around a track, shooting each other. That was a lot of fun.

@@blockofnerd8285 Years ago there was a 'Speed Freeks' boxed set sold by GWs with special racing rules and stuff (that advertised the newer Ork vehicles like the Dragsta and Boosta-Blasta as the new replacement for the old Ork buggies.) Limited run, but if you can find the rules for it you might as well give it a go.

I'd never thought I wanted a Twisted Metal: Warhammer 40k edition, yet here we are.
I was screaming my head off. Out of all the Skull Event games this takes the cake. Which is saying something considering we had Darktide, Space Marine II, Total War, Realms of Ruin, and Rogue Trader which were fricking 10/10 top notch

Played the demo. To go from a 9 to a 10/10, they need to add the goff rocker. That's it really.
Reminds me a bit of the 'Vigilante 8' game...in my top 3 N64 games of all time! If it's anything like that - awesome!
The vehicles look EXACTLY like the tabletop models. That's some great attention to detail.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only Twisted Metal.
As an original founder of GRIP combat racing, I was pretty happy with the end result of that, they put a lot of work into the physics to get them right. So I'm pretty happy they are making this game as well.

Orki Death Race / Demolution derby, now that seems like a lot of fun
Been playing the Alpha. So far? I absolutely freaking love it. Definitely requires a bit of polishing and optimization, but it's otherwise fantastic! Hoping that down the line we'll be able to kustomize our trukks, wagons and bikes in proppa Orky fashion.
The feeling of speed I had watching this trailer quite recalled me of that same feeling I experienced watching a Mad Max (the videogame) let's play. It looks like space Mad Max, and that says a lot about the potential this game has and how well they understood the Ork philosophy.
Watched this three times now. CANT. WAIT.

Besides space marine 2 this game looked the best out of all the previews ,gave me a sort of twisted metal vibe.

It plays like a team based twisted metal. The cars definitely fall into distinct classes. There are cars that can repair, literally tank, assassinate, and of course go really fast (while allowing the team to draft behind it).
The current available game mode is a race / demolition derby. You get points by being the first team to reach each point on the way to the finish line but you also stop on the points and battle it out for control. It's pretty fun.
I hope there will be vehicle customization, Crossout-style. If I can't stick a leman russ turret on my bike, I'm not living the full ork life!
I already imagine, that painting the machine is not only for good look, but gives bonuses. Ya 'now, like Red mans fast, blue 's luck (chanse of crit?) and e.t.c.

What's even better is what you can actually *do* these things. Every fight in this alpha test looks like a moment from trailer. And you really can appreciate every second of it, considering the game is going to slow down to a powerpoint presentation

40k and Fantasy have been having a serious video game Renaissance in the last few years, but it's the goofy Ork stuff that shines the brightest. I hope they make more and more.
They need to add the Shokkjump Dragsta and the complications that come with teleporting.
