  • Before watching this video please watch videos #1 and #2. This is the third video in a series of five. Third Lesson, Going down the scale. This is for all the beginner pipers looking to pick of the Bagpipes.
In this lesson you will review going up the scale and avoiding "Crossing noises" between the E and D notes. Then you will learn the proper form of moving down the scale with "Lifting before Replacing" the fingers.
As a side note: Be happy that I don't teach how to Ride a Mountain Bike!! I face planted on my last ride so excuse the Stitches on the Chin! LOL
Hope you all enjoy and please feel free to ask any questions in the comments below. Respond with Videos of your own for me to watch and help instruct you personally!
    Cheers and Happy Piping!

These tutorials are very helpful, i got my first practice chanter this afternoon, and can already go up the scale well, in my opinion, and down the scale okish.

I am so happy to hear that this is helping! If you are interested i do online lessons via Skype or FaceTime if you are interested in having a teacher. I have been teaching online for four years now and teaching overall Bagpipe students for 10 years.
