  • Hello and welcome to my latest video.
Yes I'm back and returned to the railways after nearly 2 months since my last video before Christmas.
So to fully kick 2023 off I thought I go back to my favourite local station ( Southampton Central ).
Of course I gone back there, absolutely love that station.
So many trains there and you never get bored.
Nothing much has changed since my last visit, expect waiting room on Platform 4 waiting room has been sealed off due to SWR has begun it's 5.5 million revamp work, to have easier access to Southampton Cruise Port and cruise passenger waiting lounge with real time information, increased access to sustainable travel options, and also improved taxi rank, drop facilities and improved car parking and loading facilities. They say the work should be finished by July.
Trains we have on show are South Western Railway 444, 450, Southern 377, Cross Country Trains 221 & 220, Great Western Railway 166, 165, 158, lots of freight train GB Railfreight, DB, Freightliner, Colas Rail, Class 66, 70 and GB Railfreight Class 47, and empty stock SWR 455.
There were huge delays and cancellations to Portsmouth - Cardiff, Romsey - Salisbuy route, due to broken down train in Westbury - Salisbury area.
Had fantastic day here, this station fails to disappoint me.
As always if you like what you see please give it a like, and please do subscribe to me if you so wish. And feel free to leave a comment in section below.
Got some great plans for my train filming for this year.
My next filming will be in 2 weeks time.
Until then I'll see you all next time. :)

hey joe how are you. I was just wondering how you add text and logo of each train you film in your videos?

I use my movie maker, and I just copy and paste logo from internet. And text is different, depends what movie maker you use. Other rail enthusiasts videos are kinda similar to mine, but they use different methods. Just depends how you use it.

@@railwayspotterbrad Can’t remember the name, think it’s Power Point. But you can get any movie maker. But it’s not the only that does it. There are lot of them that does the same thing. The one I’m using isn’t very cheap though. it’s way over £100.
