Looking forward to getting Audiofuse
Billy Bush just convinced me to buy one. It arrives in 2 days ...I cannot wait. 😁
was just gonna ask about this....thanks.
Received my Audio Fuse Rev 2 today. Incredibly beautiful piece of hardware. I would buy it even if I were just painting pictures. Just put it on the shelf :-)
What I miss:
Is there a power off mode option. I didn't want to see the lighting at night
Hi! I have an AudioFuse, can I connect the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm headphones directly to my audio interface? Or do I have to use a headphone amplifier for 250 Ohm?
When you connect a USB Power Bank to the second USB Connector on the supplied USB cable, does that offer the same power mode and full capabilities as using the supplied AC/Mains Power Adapter??? If not, what ''power mode'' and features are enabled when using a USB Power Bank without AC/Mains power???
Hi, if I'm powering my audiofuse from my laptop's USB ports do I have to ensure both USBs are plugged in?
Is there a software control for iPad yet.
Where’re the other episodes?
Alguien sabe cuál es la manera correcta de encender y apagar la interfaz? Gracias por su respuesta ❤️
+Guy Perchard +Arturia - When using a USB Power Bank to supply power to the AudioFuse when AC/Mains power is not available, how many *Milliamps* of current must the USB Power Bank be capable of supplying to the AudioFuse???
i.e. Some USB Power Banks only supply up to 500-1000 milliamps (0.5 - 1 Amp) for SmartPhone charging, while larger units usually have at least one USB port that supplies 2000-3000 milliamps (2 - 3 Amps) for iPad and Tablet charging. Does the AudioFuse require a 2-3 amp capable USB Power Bank in order to ''unlock'' its full capabilities, including the 24dB of headroom???
Obviously, the larger the total capacity of the USB Power Bank, rated in Milliamp-Hours (mAh) or Watt-Hours, the longer it will power and run the AudioFuse.
Hey bb foto, good to hear from you. Great questions! We recommend using at least a 2000mA USB powerbank. AudioFuse will switch to Green power mode if you use it with a powerbank, so you'll be getting 18dBu of headroom. You only get 24dBu of headroom on DC power :)
+Guy Perchard - Thanks for the information and quick reply.
Just received my audiofuse, I have two iMacs both registered to me via Apple can I install the software onto both machines as I may want to use one iMac in a different location i.e. My static caravan/ trailer any info would be appreciated,I have not registered my audiofuse yet so can't ask the question on forum.
You can install the AudioFuse Control Center in any of your machines simultaneously and without any restrictions. If you face any registration issue, Make sure yuo have signed up for an account and then contact the Arturia Tech Support and enclose a picture of your AudioFuse's panel where the Serial Number is printed.
MusicMan BABEL Thanks for info, I have software on one iMac and I have registered with Arturia,so I shall soon try and install software on the other iMac,I have just noticed there is a firmware update so I shall do that first on the original installation, thanks again ps it's a fantastic interface.
My Surface Pro has one USB, can I use AudioFuse?
+Jason Gibbons - Yes, you can use the AudioFuse with your MS Surface Pro. BUT, if you want to use the full capabilities and features of the AudioFuse, you will need to connect the included AC/mains power adapter (wall wart) to the AudioFuse *or* connect a USB Power Bank that supplies 2-3 Amps of current (as shown near the end of this video) to the second USB connector on the included USB cable.
