- This tutorial will show you how to extract complex objects out of the sky and place them into another background. Using a crane as a subject (Not the bird - the equipment) gives us a very complex object but it is no match for the powerful selection strength of the calculations command in Photoshop

At around 4:00, you had earlier stated that you wanted the sky as dark as possible & the crane to be white. Yet you were able to get a fairly dark sky by changing the offset to -100 and THEN you made the sky look pale grey again by making the scale at 1. You didn't explain why that would be the effect you wanted. Other than that, I was able to follow why you did all the other adjustments. Thank you.
Oops you answered my question Brian. As you say, experimentation with the adjustments for a particular image is necessary. Thank you for the quick reply and explanation.
thanks...
SUSCRIBED DUDE!
Any Idea why I dont have the Alphas under Red,Green,Blue channels ?
Have you created them? They should certainly show in the channels panel when they are created...
Hello, sorry for my slow reply. I had no clue how should I create them :/
I found how I do it, but all of the alpha seems to be black.
