Haeju is a major seaport on the west coast and the provincial capital city of South Hwanghae Province, a rarely visited part of North Korea.
Haeju is situated only 60km north of the military demarcation line dividing the peninsula and is therefore considered a ‘frontline city’.

The video description mentions this is a rarely visited part of North Korea, is this a place visitors are normally allowed to go or is it relatively restricted?
Glad you like them! Haeju is only 60km north of the military demarcation line dividing the north and south and only reachable by windy bumpy roads... there's also not a super great deal to do there, so combined it just makes for not such a popular or easy place to visit..!

It looks so peaceful, I'd love to visit one day. As a Marxist-Leninist I have a huge admiration for all groups of people who have been able to resist the suffocating grip of imperialism for so long, from Yemen to the DPRK, and I hope that more of my neighbors here in the West will start to realize how misguided we've been, and how much we've been lied to.
