In this video I go to a street food stall on Bugsae Street in Pyongyang. I don't buy many types of food, because we are Muslims, my wife and I try to be careful in choosing food. We only buy food that contains vegetables or seafood or rice and flour.

He is a foreign diplomat from Indonesia. He works for the embassy there so he didn't have to be with a government tour guide. He basically lives there. Moreover, Indonesia has a pretty good relationship with NK since we are not part of NATO and has built a special diplomatic relationship since 1955 called the Jakarta-Beijing-Pyongyang Pact.
Its funny seeing some people though he is elitist and rich people, some comment even though he is Hardcore follower who being paid to be actor for make this city look better and some complaint how he can take picture easily lol

What you have to keep in mind is that Pyongyang is very different from the rest of the DPRK. For your average farmer or ppl out in the smaller towns 100% but Pyongyang is basically a city for the elite, so people will be a lot better off there

Pyongyang is where the DPRK's government and military officials, aka the small elite of the country, lives. It's still rather poor compared to Western cities, but it's in no way representative of the struggle the vast maturity of North Koreans have to go through on a daily basis.

As a South Korean, I find it ironic that it is the closest country but the hardest to go. And thanks to this video, it was fascinating to see the daily lives of the people of Pyongyang in North Korea closely.

I am not a Korean but I know a friend who lives in a country of constant civil wars where many national races want their own countries and fight for it. Tseng Akera nobody shows emotion. There's no laughing or yelling or honking on horns like you would hear in a major city in the United States.
Cars (specificially tires and horns) make up a large percentage of the noise in cities. Not many cars there in NK haha.
Yeah. Only state officials are allowed to drive so how this guy's driving a car is beyond me.
