  • At least four people have died, 10 are missing and 127million have been placed on alert after ‘once in a century’ flooding hit southern China. Guangdong province, near Hong Kong, was pelted with 61cm (24ins) of rain in a little over a week - the highest since records began in 1959. The downpours caused rivers to turn into torrents and burst their banks, and flash flooding. In some places, floodwaters have risen over 10ft. Flood alerts have been issued across the province including in the mega-city of Shenzhen. 28,500 people have been moved to shelters while another 112,000 have been evacuated. #china #floods #rain

Rain, wind, and earthquake were not only Gods gift to humanty but also his weapon for destruction and punishment for the wrongdoing of humanity.

CCP also said it was 'once in a century' rain, last year; and the year before; and the year before too.
Seems like every year in China is 'once in a century'. How amazing

They should extend the south to north water transfer project to Guangdong. Then dam up the pearl river to create a mega reservoir and divert that water to Beijing. Areas behind the dam will then be safe from these annual floods
