Brian the Berlingo! Seriously though, don't ever mix ad Blue with Diesel or even store Diesel in old ad blue containers. It will either kill your Engine out right or warrant spending so much money to fix it it wont be worth it. Its not a fuel additive and is designed to spray into your exhaust system. Lovely Motor and should be cheaper to run than the jag.

Yep you should get a lister CS in the back there , and yes miles doesn't kill a car as most of the time in top gear , stop start ,zooming off when cold , no maintenance, will kill a car in 15,000 miles , we had them in the garage , good choice man cave !

Yeah. My buddy is got it of got his own little garage. He used to service this 4 times a year. The owner had an engine service every 10,000 miles and a full service twice a year. That engine and box are spot on to be honest. But like you say she was started in the morning and basically kept running most of the day. I have never been scared of that to be honest. Worse in my opinion to have a 30,000 mile car that started cold and just drove 3 or 4 miles to work or the shops. They never get upto temp and off cold start long enough.
You ever know any problems with the semi autos?

@@NorfolkMancave no generally autos very reliable, all that goes after a long while is adjustment , usually two or three bands , seal behind the converter sometimes needs replacing , check fluid level time to time , there's a electric module, but that can be replaced, mercedes did a self changing gearbox with fluid flywheel on the 280 series and others , bit notchy , and soon went back too converter, again Citroen Peugeot make excellent diesel engines , 1800 1900 Bilingo and powered loads of models lasted really well , maintenance, that's the key !

Wish you luck with that one mr mancave,i drive to fiats and what i call a shitreon vans.they are absolutley electrical nitemares,all 3 of them.not that old either,between 66plate and 19 plate.never no if the 19 plate will start.immobiliser or sommit plays up all the time.oil leaks,sensor failures allsorts.dont think it will last as well as your old jag to be honest.addblue is a pain in the arse.🤞crossed for you lol.

Funnily enough, I had a Peugeot 108 on loan from the garage when my car was in for new wheel bearings on Wednesday. For a tiny car, I was impressed by the room inside, how big the doors are, and how easy to get in and out of, but the biggest surprise was in the ridiculous fuel economy - We were getting a good 55mpg on average for the most of our driving, and that was on petrol.
So anyway, what exactly does adblue do? I've seen it around for some time now, but don't know what it's purpose is.

Yeah Mrs Mancave got a new car aswell. Well do a video on that soon. Adblue has its own tank and there is a injector in the front of the DPF. And every so often when the car is upto temp it injects a good squirt of asblue directly onto the guts of the DPF to clean it. Clever stuff.

GOOD for you! Our car was 26 years old when it finally quit. The girl got on the computer and found a 10 o0r 11 year old Lincoln with 27000 actual miles on it. The wife went over to look at it and drove it home. WONDERFUL car. And Cat rigid frame quarry trucks are set up like your car with the shifting. The Cat rep says it has an 'invisible' 1st gear but it's really totally on the converter but from then on it's like a straight drive in shifting all by itself. It has 6 or 7 speeds showing on the floor shifter but that's just a limit for going downhill. CHEERS on your new car. BULLY for you and ah-HAH!
