Makes:12-15 balls of amagwinya (depending on the size)

    • 625ml Warm Water
    • Enough Sunflower Oil for deep frying
    Method:
    1. Mix dry ingredients together: (the flour, sugar, salt and instant yeast)
    2. Make a well and pour in the warm water, mix up the ingredients with a spoon and transfer to the cleaned work area to knead
    3. Knead the dough until it is soft and elastic for about !10 to 20 minutes.
    4. Place in a floured bowl and cover, leave to rise for a minimum of 1 hour.
    5. Bring the oil to a medium heat, place the dough-balls into the oil, only a few at a time. Fry on both sides, until cooked inside and golden brown.

Leaving the dough over night doesn't change the taste? I want to try this tomorrow so I'm wondering if I should mix now or tomorrow

I think it's because she did this in winter, usually you just have to Leave the dough where there's direct sunlight for 45 minutes or so, depending on where you are. If it's hot obviously the dough is gonna raise faster
