Now if you do want to pic your hair, detangle it in the shower with lots of water and a lot of conditioner. Conditioner makes it slippery. First use your fingers to loosen it up and pull out knots. Separate it by finger as much as possible. -Then section off your hair- use a pic and start at the base of your scalp and slowly pull all the way through to the ends of your hair. Some hair might break off but that’s natural. Ball it up and chuck it out the shower unless you want to clog your drain.
Maybe I should do a video. Because that hair should have been curled a lot more than it was. if you have 4c hair, GO AND GET A DETANGLING BRUSH. Buy products for your hair type like mine is 4C Low Porosity. Like Tgin. I wash my hair and condition it while in the shower. I have my favorite conditioner that really makes my hair pop. Like Miracle Leave in Condition. I grab a section of my hair scoop some conditioner out and rub on the section I have pulled out. Make sure to message it through from root to tip. Then use that detangling brush you purchased. Start at the ends of your have and detangle as you brush your hair and work your way up. Once you get your hair detangled and it's fully saturated with leave in conditioner give it another brush. THIS TIME FROM ROOT TO TIP AND AND WATCH HOW YOUR 4C HAIR COMES ALIVE WITH THE BEST BOUNCY CURLS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. If you prefer a kinky look then don't brush it, just comb it. That is 4c hair. But if you love curls like I DO. wash/condition and the leave in conditioner, detangle it gently from TIPS/ROOTS with the detangling brush. Once it's all detangle use a little more conditioner and this time start from the roots to the tip. This too is 4C hair. A natural and better looking Shirley temple curls all over. Where it that way or braid it. I like the braids sometimes since the ends of every braid has a Shirley Temple curl. I love my 4C hair. What kind of crack was I on to ever PERM MY HAIR. STRAIGHT HAIR SHOWS LENGTH BUT THE CURLS WILL NEED TO PULLED TO UNDERSTAND HOW LONG IT IS. NO MORE PERMS, MY NATURAL HAIR GROWTH HAS MADE ME SO HAPPY, FEEL SO PRETTY AND AND THE CURLS MAKES MY DAY. I used a blow drier twice since 04/2021 and a Flat Iron once. The texture is different so I will need a SILK PRESS to start me off or I will get it done when I want bone straight.

Same happened to me. Usually, I solve this by using a spray bottle on my hair in, and out of the shower, and just raking some leave-in curling conditioner through it. (I use Cantu, but I got 4B hair, so it might, or might not work for you) And for the love of god... Do NOT pick curly hai, unless you want an afro or the starting hair in this video.
You gotta know how to stretch it when it dries to elongate it, and if you use gel to help form the curls, you just gotta break the cast with some oil. Research “how to stretch your wash n go.”
