Great explanation, once you figure out how it works and how it rotates it makes reassembly a breeze

The REAL reassembly "trick" is to push down on the front of the slide. Zoom in and slow it down and you will see the take-down tabs move. Without the recoil spring, it's easy. With the spring it is impossible if you don't push down.

Glad my video could help you! When you understand the correct way to position the barrel, reassembly is easy.

Good to see some Aussie X Cal enthusiasts. What are the lightest recoil loads you guys have been able to get? For me anything I need at least 3.6gn of aps450 or I get issues with stovepipes, jams etc. Anyone got any ideas? Lighter springs etc?

Hi, When the pistols run in you can often put in a bit lighter spring and this can help. But the 9mm round can become much less accurate if the loads are light. I have done a lot of testing of 9mm ammo in a 9mm rifle with scope and have proven that the 9mm is most accurate with full power loads. Try heavier projectiles as well sometimes this helps.

Hi. Gran power don't have firing pin block!. Is this dangerous or bad?

    • @ozzistraightshooter9273

Some pistols have firing pin locks and some don't. Grand Power firing pin is short so that with the hammer down the firing pin won't touch the primer. If you carry the pistol cocked then yes this can be dangerous. But with the hammer down it is safe and you don't need to carry the pistol cocked as it is double action.
