All Magazines depicted in VSO Videos are standard capacity magazines or lower.
The recoil spring is light because it's a hammer-fired gun. The main spring is what absorbs the energy. Barrel rotation is only for lock and unlock.
Thanks
AR barrel nuts, steel or aluminum? Does it matter? I notice many are putting aluminum nuts with their handguards now. Do you see serious duty weapons using aluminum nuts?
The pin is to replace the decocker with the low profile one . the grips just pop on and off no pins required
I've had mine for gee wis maybe as long as 10 years. It's hard to say, a lot has gone on since then. I paid $800 cash out the door then, they were just in the country. I loved it as soon as I checked it out. It was SO COOL, I HAD TO HAVE IT especially since it was in 9mm Luger. I was IMPRESSED on the machining and design. It's a REAL SHOOTER, which is what I wanted. I wanted a TARGET grade 9mm that wasn't TOO EXPENSIVE and that's EXACTLY what I got. I've let several people at the indoor range try it out and they liked it A LOT. GREAT PISTOL, DON'T THINK I'LL EVER SELL IT along with my P08, BHP and my Colt 3-5-7.
I have had the K-100 X Trim for about 4 months and it is an awesome gun! Trigger and reset are excellent, accuracy is fantastic, and comes with 3 magazines. All of this for $499 from Global Ordnance. I definitely like it better than my p10c and 365xl!
I bought one of these on release day years ago and it’s a gun I will never sell. It is amazing
X-Calibur: S E R R A T I O N Z
at :12 and 12:01, as you reload, you strip a live round that had been chambered in the process. Was that done simply because of your training mindset in regards to reload procedure?
Thank you for the review!
Yes
I have one and I say that it is one very accurate gun and a plus with its 18 round mag.
I know this was a year ago but I'm glad and I hope your hand healed well and great review
The gun used to come with a spare low-profile safety lever, so you could have one and one. I don't recall a deletion kit or anything like that, but it should be perfectly do-able.
Its still does i got a newer one with the black tenifer finish barrel it came with spare low profile decockers
I made Master in USPSA with this gun easily 50k rounds through mine. Love it!
The trigger is incredible, which leads to great accuracy. It makes me look like I know how to shoot or something. Every avid shooter should have one. Also last I looked they are cheaper now than when I bought mine several years ago.
Did you find it at global ordnance? The only one I can find is the K100 x trim and the x calibur MK12 K22 (22lr version). I do see the slide for the x calibur though. I have been wanting one for some time I just have never took the plunge yet.
@@halfdollar86 I got mine back in 2015 when Eagle importers was the supplier. I see zero available in the world right know, I am sure they'll do a new production run sooner or later, so just keep an eye out.
Gunwatcher is a good place to look, and be sure to sign up for notifications, about every online shop had a wait list you can get on and be notified.
@@halfdollar86 Global Ordnance has X-Caliburs in stock now! They won't be there long if you want one.
Looks really cool

Very NICE PISTOL. Picked up mine about 3 or 4 years ago. It came with 1 spare magazines, a plastic spring guide and 2 small safety levers these are the difference from the one on your video. I'm a ACCURACY FREAK and I'm able to shoot it VERY WELL. ( 2.5"-3" from 50' free hand)😯🤗👍 The only other pistol that I shoot well at 50'-75' is my WW2 German Luger with a NEW factory marked barrel.😁👍
Likewise mine is an older one with the polymer guide. Did you also note the slide lock/release lever seems to have been enlarged a bit on this model ? Probs easier to engage which is a good thing. Interesting if someone could confirm that they no longer ship with the smaller safety lever as a spare as well as three different mainsprings as mine did. There are vids available on changing the safety levers and I am sure if not included they would be available as spares purchase?
Whats your overall opinion on it or can't you recommend it yet?
love my rex... the Slovenians are really making moves. I shot the older grand power pistol love the slide, nice low bore axis. Global ordinance has really good prices on their site
Slovakia, not Slovenia
I wish they made the x calibur or x trim in a metal frame. Only because I am a sucker for metal frame sa/da pistols. I have wanted this pistol for several years now.
I took the external safety off of one of my M&P's. I wonder if you could do the same with this.
I have the k-22 x trim pistol on the market no mim or pot metal material. Very impressed and pleased.
That is one good locking piece of hardware. I needs to get me one. :)
I love my xcalibur
This is a gun I've wondered about for awhile. A review video I saw of a very early model had a lot of malfunctions. I'm drawn to everything with a squared trigger guard.
That is definitely one sweet looking pistol that for some reason I really want!!!
I miss mine. I had a k100 that had a safety/decoder. Was able to rock, cocked and locked. Its weird that they don't make them like that anymore. Its one or the other... they used to make a ambi safety deletion plug when the were imported from (eagle imports/ who ever it was that imported the Philippines MAC 1911s ?)
So it's out of stock just about everywhere and somewhere around that $750-$800 mark....not bad. That's probably about $200 worth of serrations on there....👍
Totally agree with you
That sucker is extremely accurate 😛😛
Fantastic
I must have a EARLY MODEL the X-Caliber because my recoil guide rod is PLASTIC. Not sure whether there is a difference on this particular pistol because of the rotating barrel (my barrel is STAINLESS)).
Seems pretty cool!
🖖🏻🇫🇷😎🇫🇷😎🇫🇷🖖🏻
LOVE this gun it’s hard to get holster fast.
Great video
Two guns that I have seen with a fully ambiguous mag release like on the grand power: the taurus TH9 and the CZ 82.
I believe the XD line up uses a similar method, as well as the AREX Delta, and even the older FNP/X guns from FN
I would really enjoy the opportunity to shoot this pistol. If it had a plate option and an option for threaded barrel, it would be on my must have list for sure. I would also prefer a decocker over a safety only.
Its a rotating barrel so why would you want it threaded
Biggest question...Are you sending it back or buying it?
did it fire out of battery at 1:50 ?
Are the mags specific to the Grand Power or compatible with another gun?
All grand power mags are interchangeable as long as grip length allows. Not interchangeable with other firearms that I know of.
2:30 you dont have to punch that pin to change the back strap . you dont need to punch any thing to change it
I bought this gun, put 1000 rounds through it. Then sold it. The trigger was BEAUTIFUL. The gun was BEAUTIFUL. but I had constant failure to feed/stovepipes with the standard spring that came in it. Used 115 and 124 PMC and S&B factory ammo. I don't know what it was, just constantly had feeding problems.
Mine seems to be an older model but it did ship with two extra, different weighted springs. Is that no longer the case?
Limp wrist.
Front sight pattern is CZ-75.
BTW, XDs have truly ambitious mag releases.
We don’t do traitor brands here. They could come out with a phaser and I wouldn’t know about it.
@@VSO_Gun_Channel what if it were direct from hs produkt?
@@JoMamasHouse if it has anything to do with Springfield I won’t touch it. If HS decided to get a different importer and deposed SA then I would consider it.
@@VSO_Gun_Channel Thank you.
I can't believe how many Fudds let Springfield slide on that unforgivable BS.
Wait. It's delayed blowback?!
Edit: Ahh... I see what you did there... LoL. Great review man!
The guy that trains me for the gun license gave me the match version of that gun to try... I am training on Glock 17 (standard gun for exams) but I find it tedious and boring. And when I shot the X-Calibur (for the first time) if I aimed it just a little bit lower I would get all tens.
I am fond of revolvers and weird stuff so I wanted to buy a Chiappa Rhino Nebula variant after passing the exam - but now I want THAT. The Rhino is still on the list but further down ;) (I am not made of money ;) )
What's the price tag?
beautiful
From ohio with love brudda
Different but cool...
If it came threaded, would a suppressor work on it with that rotating barrel?
I’m concerned about the extra mass on the front I feel like it would cause issues but I have no way to test this
So I know its a bit different with the rotating barrel Polinar talks about it a bit here. www.guns.com/news/2015/07/31/quiet-time-with-the-slovakian-gp-k100-whisper-suppressed-pistol-video
I can't seem to find one. Can you point me in the right direction?
Where can I get this
Do you know where I could get one I really want one.
Sold out at most places. Might find one floating online somewhere but it'll be expensive, probably a grand or more.
Is tht available in pakistan and price
👍
Very cool!
It would be nice if you shot from different distances to show the accuracy of that gun.
And please, speak slower a little.
Thanks!
Can u carry this gun locked & cocked?
Thanks for the review! I own about 35 handguns, the X-Calibur is my favorite, it shoots as well as, or better than my more expensive target pistols. The original run had a stainless steel shiny barrel that I think looked a little cooler.
Where did you get yours I really want one
@@gradypoole5366 I got mine years ago. Just looked using all my fav. searches and the supply has dried up right now. You should go to all the major online sites and get on the “notify when back in stock” notifications. .vancouvergunshop .com shows one in stock for over $1k, that is too much, I’d wait. Mine was $800, the latest batch seemed to go for about $750. Also contact Global Ordnance, the importer and see if they can give an eta.
@@poppopov9599 tbh I’d pay 1000
@@gradypoole5366 It is worth it but I am sure they'll be less when the next run comes out. Let me know when you get your and tell me how much you like it!
@@askingforafriend3574 I will probably wait until COVID subsides because even if I get I’m not gonna waste that much on ammo like I will pay for a gun but not for ammo really I’m deciding if I’m going to get this or the shadow 2 still though.
wouldnit it be an IX-Calibur if it's 9mm? their naming people dropped the ball on this one. holding out for the 10mm version now.
They are Europeans give them a break. They don’t know dick about anything that happened after 1775 and they have been pissed at Americans for our supremacy ever since.
I mean, they can’t even use “caliber” because it’s an imperial measurement.
Looks like someone went out of control with a Dremel tool
Just had to send mine back to globalordnance.com to get the half cocked notch fixed. Has anybody else noticed or have any problems with the half cocked notch not always catching?
MSRP?
Nice vid.. anyone know how much these are going for?
Global Ordnance has them right now for $726.
Review 10mm version of it.
I like best weapon the xcalibar
Wow I love this gun✌️ how much$
Needs top strap serrations.
If it's not serrated, it's not a pistol!
The Bacon ?..... and The Wombat ?
They put you American dad
the pin has nothing to do with back-straps it's for the ridiculous elephant ear safety release replacement which they include. nice 2.7 pound trigger right out of box.
Slovakia is European for steel
Nice harbor freight gloves you poor. Lol nah I wear out shit so fast running aks I buy them by the case.
After buying the grand power stribog and dealing with cracked magazines I’m gonna say no thanks
If you crack the Xcaliber mags we need to have a talk
@@VSO_Gun_Channel I will never have the chance because I'm not buying it or anything else from grand power.
Sucks for you man. I have an early import stribog from 8 years ago that's run flawless, no cracked mags. That being said I know others have had issues but the x calibur is a whole different beast. Don't be a bitter lil Nancy
The original stribog mags were not even used but twice. They were loaded in a safe and cracked from pressure
I heard there was a huge bad batch that came in. Shipped overloaded on pallets so the bottom boxes of mags were too stressed during shipping. I don't doubt you're having issues as I've seen others have the same problem but myself and many others have had no problems with our og stick mags.
Tfw you can use both hands so you review a pistol.😆
Ehhhh
A good gun video or bad music video (pick one ,so l can not watch the bad "music" video)!
