Kernza Regrowth: Second Spring

The kernza has come back stronger than it did last spring. It was drilled in August of 2022, with the first harvest in August of 2023.
While it's sold as a perennial wheatgrass, researchers have found that the grain yield drops dramatically after the third year. We'll see how well it does over the next 10 weeks, when it will be time to harvest a second time.
