I really like Angie and would ordinarily have bought this pallete, but I have about 120 pallettes in my collection and need to wake up. I don't need any more.
This is the most HLP of all HLP looks! When Angie showed the swatch of Complete I was like "Ohhhhh Hannah's gonna love that!" This is such a beautiful palette and I love Oden's Eye's formula. I'm not buying eyeshadow right now so I'll be passing on this, but I'm defo going to dupe the vibes with my singles.
I think Angie has done such an amazing job with her collabs! I bought the Club Nebula and it's one of my favorite palettes I own, even in my large collection, it offers some unique shadows that I didn't have. I don't think the Hela palette is for me, but it is stunning!
I'm here to join the other commenters and say that the palette is awesome but I have to skip it because 1. I already own most shades and 2. I'm doing a no-buy. That being said, Angie is extremely talented at designing color stories. You can do the boldest of the bold looks,as well as super soft daily makeup with those shades. P.S. I'm hoping someday a brand will partner with you for a palette ❤
Angie does usually say that no one needs to buy a collab she's done and reassures that watching her videos is still support. I did decide to buy this palette on launch because I'm a sucker for greens, multichromes and duochromes, and Oden's Eye eyeshadows. It was great to see your take on this palette and I agree it's different from what most people went for when doing looks. One thing that is nice about collab palettes is being able to see lots of different looks with it. 😊
LOVE the look. You've been the only one to dive into the darkness, the death part...and you also did it with that valentines byop. That's resonating with me, February is a though month. I am also wearing a dark-grungy look now, with clionadhs forge on the center of the lid ❤️

I talked myself out of Club Nebula, and regretted it. So I decided that if she comes out with another palette, I'm not making the same mistake again! So I ordered this on the first day. But also, I don't have many palettes, and I've been wanting to try grungy colours and multichromes, so this works great on that aspect too.
My actual comment on Angelica’s video was “I think that HLP will love the Complete shade from this palette a lot!” It was literally the #1 thought that came to my mind when I saw the swatch of Complete for the first time, and a cool confirmation to self that I remember what Hannah had been craving in eyeshadows )))
I wanted this palette so badly when I first saw it but really I just want it for about 3 shades. 3/16 ain't great, so I decided to pass. Seeing you make this look inspired me to combine Juvias Place's Nomad palette with Sigmas untamed palette. I think that will give me a similar look.
Such a beautiful look. Stunning! Angelica is so creative and good with putting colours together. I missed out on club nebula, wish they brought it back. Love the colour scheme of this pallette and the artwork is amazing, but I have so many colours like this so I'm going to refrain myself from buying this and pull out the colours I already have. I am so excited for this video. I am on a no buy....... mainly because I have lots of makeup and nothing excites me anymore......until I saw this. And of course I bought it......its everything I have ever dreamed of in a colour story, not to mention Hela is my favourite Goddess and the artwork and packaging make me want to frame the palette!!!! Gosh this palette is beautiful what i really want is that glossy black eyeshadow - basically the HLP quad 🖤 but i cant buy it, im not in a financially responsible place to spend $70 aud on a eyeshadow palette. it really peaked my anxiety and i had HLPs voice in my head ‘its not worth your mental and financial wellness’ AND ITS NOT!! I can support Angie by watching her videos and if i got it and then i was stressing about money - i wouldn’t enjoy it anyway! i ask myself what am i investing in? my future with my partner, my creative career, my own self of calm This mentality on new make up is definately Hannahs influence, so thank you as always for your grace and wisdom in the yt space

The Oden’s Eye formula is exceptional! I’ve enjoyed watching all the reviews and make up looks for this palette. I think tango dancing or any dancing belongs everywhere, kitchens included.
I was on an eyeshadow no buy except for warm green palettes, which I have been on the hunt for for some time. The Tropical Vibes palette restock was supposed to be the one palette I was going to purchase but I love Angelica so I had to get this one too. I haven't received either palette yet but I'm really hoping they fulfill all my olive green eyeshadow dreams.
Love this look. Very sulty and love how it coordinates with your hair tie and robe. Angie's palette is beautiful but I know I wouldn't use it because I don't wear such vibrant colours. However, absolutely love your look. You nailed it!⭐❤
I love how the Ilia mascara applies. I love how it looks. It burns the heck out of my eyes. Not just if I poke myself with the wand (which is very easy to do with that wand) but it seems to drift into my eyes throughout the day and burn them constantly. If you have sensitive eyes stay far away.
Listening to you talk about how much you like a dark non-black colour totally made me think of the blend bunny palettes- both surge & dollhouse have a row of dark colours & I’ve been visiting them on the website fairly regularly & would love to see/hear an HLP review. I think it would probably be a good channel sponsored review bcuz I don’t know if I see the rest of overall palettes colour story being something that would totally catch your fancy. Thank you for the friendly reminder of my low buy intention this year. I was so tempted to get this palette but financially is really tight this month. I have put this pallete in and out off my cart, I've been going back and forth odens eyes website since the launch date.

Yaaasss Hannah! That quad is the reason I am drawn to this palette! When Angie revealed it I knew, based on everything I’ve learned from you, that I shouldn’t buy it for those few shades. Ironically this look has convinced me I should buy it. 🤷🏻♀️ I would love to see if you can dupe it!

I am on a palette / makeup in general low buy this year (inspired by your teachings!) and wasn't planning on buying anything soon, I saw this palette and all I could think was "that's made for me" which is ridiculous but I decided to revel in that ridiculousness given I have had a tragic couple of weeks and snatched it up along with the matching ribbon (and also another oden's eye palette I had my eyes on as I really wanted to give the brand a try). Very excited!

This has nothing to do with the video but I often watch your videos to fall asleep to. My boyfriend usually stays up next to me and falls asleep after I do, and I noticed today he’s started using the phrase “get into the meat of the story” so I think I may be subconsciously brainwashing him with your videos 😭

but i cant buy it, im not in a financially responsible place to spend $70 aud on a eyeshadow palette. it really peaked my anxiety and i had HLPs voice in my head ‘its not worth your mental and financial wellness’ AND ITS NOT!!
I can support Angie by watching her videos and if i got it and then i was stressing about money - i wouldn’t enjoy it anyway! i ask myself what am i investing in? my future with my partner, my creative career, my own self of calm

Angie killed this palette! I just bought Annette’s collab with Odens eye and I own club nebula so I’ll be passing on this. Your look is out of this world. Loved the use of the sparkly black. I love blackened very hard shimmers. Perfect for simple but edgy looks.

I was on an eyeshadow no buy except for warm green palettes, which I have been on the hunt for for some time. The Tropical Vibes palette restock was supposed to be the one palette I was going to purchase but I love Angelica so I had to get this one too. I haven't received either palette yet but I'm really hoping they fulfill all my olive green eyeshadow dreams.
This helped me make the right choice (for me) and buy the palette.
Love this look. Very sulty and love how it coordinates with your hair tie and robe. Angie's palette is beautiful but I know I wouldn't use it because I don't wear such vibrant colours. However, absolutely love your look. You nailed it!⭐❤
I love how the Ilia mascara applies. I love how it looks. It burns the heck out of my eyes. Not just if I poke myself with the wand (which is very easy to do with that wand) but it seems to drift into my eyes throughout the day and burn them constantly. If you have sensitive eyes stay far away.

Listening to you talk about how much you like a dark non-black colour totally made me think of the blend bunny palettes- both surge & dollhouse have a row of dark colours & I’ve been visiting them on the website fairly regularly & would love to see/hear an HLP review. I think it would probably be a good channel sponsored review bcuz I don’t know if I see the rest of overall palettes colour story being something that would totally catch your fancy. Everyone who I’ve seen play with them loves them.
