The footage looks SO GOOD. it's one of those ineffable things where I wouldn't have been able to tell you what was different or better but everything was so clear. The dual depth thing was perfect, and it really felt like I could see and understand what you were doing (especially on the eyes) in a new way. Mazal tov on the move and the look and the new equipment, it's all gucci.
I am living for the drag race references "bring it to the runwaayy run-way". The look is flawless AND fierce, you coud go to do grocery shopping and then going to a club and dance until morning. Also I really enjoy your backup being "non completed". I feel that most of the times youtubers try to portrait as their life are always perfect and put together wich is so unrealistic. Seeing the human part of it brings me joy, like "hey I just moved in but I am still going to make content even though my room is not flawless yet", like the box open behind... it is so relatable. I hope everything is going smooth in your life and I cant wait to see your next video :)

Crazy timing! I am new to regular use of eye shadow (at 52) and bought a Colourpop palette a year ago to play around with, learn what I like, what I don’t, and if I even want to use an eye shadow palette at all - that kind of thing. A couple of days ago I FINALLY took the plunge and bought a quality palette. I went with Viseart Paris Nudes (more flattering to aging skin, I think) so it was a lovely surprise to watch today’s video and see you preliminarily reviewing a Viseart palette. I haven’t even received the palette yet and I’m already thinking of pairing it with a Viseart matte palette. That will likely be the extent of my eye shadow palette purchases, so I wanted to make them count. Very excited for my own upcoming Makeup Play Time!
you say you dont prefer pinks but my god all pinks look good on you!! wear a muted buckwheat brown on the eyes or lips, with all these pink blushes u have [and dont use] and add a dark lip liner, and you could wear all the trixie blushes!!! ur cheeks are precious!

Elf used to have the most ideal version of them but discontinued them from what I can tell... I use it with colourpop's glitterally obsessed pots mostly, and you can get a beautiful scattered effect by just touching the applicator to the product whereas your fingies grab a ton.

Just moved into a new dream home, which is amazing but also A.LOT. I had a super high high, and the inevitable crash that came after. We’ve been here a month, and it’s been good and hard. Our lifestyle changed hugely with the change to this house, and different, but good, is a really good way to put it. For me, it’s manifested in spending all my time perfecting the house and searching for the home wares we never had space/oven for in our travel trailer. I’m trying to ease into other habits like visiting the library instead of trying to find the perfect fish spatula 😹. Love you!

Everything about the quality of this video is perfection. I'm not the person to talk about perfection or be a perfectionist with video quality (I grew up with an antenna not cable in my house, so a clear good color picture without fuzzy lines moving on the screen is fine with me), but I could tell the quality here is so good. I loved the music in the background. I can't remember if you've had music like that in the background while talking ever, but having that peaceful music while you were speaking was great. I don't know if it should be in every video, but in chill videos like GRWM yes it should. That's my opinion and one you may agree with.

I love this video! The only thing, the music you've used for the background is a bit loud when you talk over it. I'm deaf and youtube auto captions are questionable in their quality, so ooof that was a bit hard to listen to physically, had to really strain myself. So glad to see you in the new space though!

I wonder if that weird little rubber spatula that Glossier sent with its glitter gelee would also work well for something like the chrome flakes? I've never fully felt like I've gotten the hang of it, but I do think it helps push around chunks without having a major effect on what's below.

These kinds of videos are totally wonderful and I'm glad to have them, especially if they're keeping you from feeling any or as much pressure to bring us visually or conversationally into the rest of your new home before you've actually gotten the chance to feel at home. Also, maybe it's just me or maybe it's the construct and expectations of filmed content versus in person interaction, but it almost feels like this strong eye, lip, and cheek balanced itself out and looked, not less editorial, but as if the individual strong parts were in cahoots rather than in competition.
This may seem over the top to some people, but when you have a flaming red face and a porcelain neck, green color corrector can be life changing. I had perfect porcelain skin on my face until I was 40 and any color lipstick or blush looked great on me. Then I had twins and developed severe rosacea on my cheeks and t-zone from the hormone changes. People were always asking me if I'd gotten a sunburn, and even under full foundation I looked like I'd overdone blush. I adored lipstick and almost every color now clashed with the color of my cheeks. When I discovered green color corrector, it made me feel like myself again, and gave me some flexibility back in makeup colors and no one asks if I have a sunburn anymore. I don't like to make my face so corrected I look like a ghost so it is always more red than my neck, but it looks natural to me now.
I bought the Viseart petites brights palette! I adore it. I needed some reliable brights and love the white to create pastel shades. I looove that the pans are so small and so easy to pop out and place into a magnetic palette too
I love the new set up and varying distances, it makes sense to change the frame with the subject or section of the video. I’d love to learn more about the new filming equipment as well, the quality looks amazing!❤

Hannah the powders suit you so well! Even though you love the luminescent look. I am too old and dry for any of those powders but I do finish my makeup with bare minerals loose mineral powder which is very creamy and looks beautiful. I am curious if you have tried buffing in mineral powder given you don’t generally like powder. (Though I am also thinking your current powders look so good why would you?!) I personally find they are very different - some I’ve used don’t work at all but the bare minerals one is quite glossy.

I just bought some notoriously morbid gel flakie shadows. They look very similar to the dm flakie gels. Dm's may have a higher concentration of flakies though.
I could never do a GRWM because I get so lost in the sauce of applying makeup. I think the reason I like makeup so much is that it puts me in that creative head space where time has no meaning. I can talk about what I'm doing and why, but I couldn't review a tv show or tell an annecdote...I literally did little baby happy clappy hand when you pulled out the Trixie blushes. I have had the purple one in my pretend shopping cart since it was released.

I wonder if that weird little rubber spatula that Glossier sent with its glitter gelee would also work well for something like the chrome flakes? I've never fully felt like I've gotten the hang of it, but I do think it helps push around chunks without having a major effect on what's below.

These kinds of videos are totally wonderful and I'm glad to have them, especially if they're keeping you from feeling any or as much pressure to bring us visually or conversationally into the rest of your new home before you've actually gotten the chance to feel at home.
Also, maybe it's just me or maybe it's the construct and expectations of filmed content versus in person interaction, but it almost feels like this strong eye, lip, and cheek balanced itself out and looked, not less editorial, but as if the individual strong parts were in cahoots rather than in competition.
This may seem over the top to some people, but when you have a flaming red face and a porcelain neck, green color corrector can be life changing. I had perfect porcelain skin on my face until I was 40 and any color lipstick or blush looked great on me. Then I had twins and developed severe rosacea on my cheeks and t-zone from the hormone changes. People were always asking me if I'd gotten a sunburn, and even under full foundation I looked like I'd overdone blush. I adored lipstick and almost every color now clashed with the color of my cheeks. When I discovered green color corrector, it made me feel like myself again, and gave me some flexibility back in makeup colors and no one asks if I have a sunburn anymore. I don't like to make my face so corrected I look like a ghost so it is always more red than my neck, but it looks natural to me now.
I bought the Viseart petites brights palette! I adore it. I needed some reliable brights and love the white to create pastel shades. I looove that the pans are so small and so easy to pop out and place into a magnetic palette too
I love the new set up and varying distances, it makes sense to change the frame with the subject or section of the video. I’d love to learn more about the new filming equipment as well, the quality looks amazing!❤

Had to watch this for Trixie Cosmetics!! Love Trixie, but very clear that the shades in most of her cosmetics are curated to be very vibrant “barbie” colors. Not for everyone! Such great insight as always ❤️

So that's the first use of that Danessa Myricks chrome flakes that I actually like. Even in the pictures on Sephora, it looks like it makes the eyelids bumpy, but on you, it's so pretty! I'm going to put it on my wish list now. Also, you look so lovely & happy in this video!

Hannah the powders suit you so well! Even though you love the luminescent look. I am too old and dry for any of those powders but I do finish my makeup with bare minerals loose mineral powder which is very creamy and looks beautiful. I am curious if you have tried buffing in mineral powder given you don’t generally like powder. (Though I am also thinking your current powders look so good why would you?!) I personally find they are very different - some I’ve used don’t work at all but the bare minerals one is quite glossy.

I just bought some notoriously morbid gel flakie shadows. They look very similar to the dm flakie gels. Dm's may have a higher concentration of flakies though.

I could never do a GRWM because I get so lost in the sauce of applying makeup. I think the reason I like makeup so much is that it puts me in that creative head space where time has no meaning. I can talk about what I'm doing and why, but I couldn't review a tv show or tell an annecdote...I literally did little baby happy clappy hand when you pulled out the Trixie blushes. I have had the purple one in my pretend shopping cart since it was released.
