    Death is a messy business.
In this stop-motion homage to 1970s crime films, two hitmen race to clean up their latest job while searching for a piece of evidence that could threaten to unravel their entire operation. All while being tailed by a mysterious figure who shares an eerie interest in finding what they're looking for.

Keshen8 I think what made it so good was the excellent cinematography and lighting; two major factors into making a professional film. The story was great too.

Ever since you announced a release date for The Cleaners, I've been excited all week, and you certainly delivered. Everything--the set design, cinematography (split diopter shots!), editing, sound design, buttery smooth animation, lighting--feels pitch-perfect, and you've really managed to nail the grungy 70s feel. This was a pure joy to watch, and I know I'll find myself re-watching this multiple times to catch every detail and nuance.

Brilliant! While it can sometimes be really entertaining when a brickfilm is aware that it's a brickfilm, seeing the medium treated just like a regular live-action movie is really refreshing. Having true eye level and intimate camera placement is something missing from so many other stop motion movies, and I'm sure super challenging to pull off. Huge props!!
