The Citizen Kane of LEGO animation.
Very nicely done, man. Glad that I could be part of this awesome project. Keep up the good work!

WOW! I loved it Stanley, everything was PERFECT! phenomenal job as always buddy!!
Thank you, Riky! Much love!
This is a great way to recreate the atmosphere of film noir in the '40s, great work, I like it!👍
Thank you!
This rocks! Needless to say, you've nailed that noir look and feel, and I love the ending haha
Thank you, BlueBrick!
You really are an artist Q-brick, and a sight for sleep deprived eyes lol.
Hehe, thank you so much
I just absolutely love how this looks. Also the editing really sold the noir vibe for me. Happy BFD!
Happy BFD!
EXCELLENT, excellent, excellent!!! This was wonderful!! Great story, great acting, excellent camera work, and from beginning to end nobody got shot! Please, . . do it again.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful! Just beautiful!!!
This rocks! Way to go!
Very well done!
This was beautiful Stanley! Love the ending 😂
Thanks, Gregory!
Did I forget to comment?! Anyway, top job. As per usual!
Incredible work, as always. My personal favorite is the climbing animation around 1:14
Thank you - that was one of the harder shots, I'm glad it turned out convincing!
Beautifully photographed, loved this one a lot, excellent job my friend!
Thank you! x
wow this is so cinematic and everything about this is so perfect and hilarious ending 😂
Thanks, Erik! Glad you liked it :~)
Stellar job!! I really enjoyed it. One of the best brickfilms I've seen this year. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻
Many thanks!
This is beautiful. You've really captured the film noir genre with the film, editing and music
Thank you!
AMAZING!!!!!
Another incredible work! I can't wait to rewatch this 100 times over the next few days. As usual, your lighting work was absolutely brilliant and really elevated the film. I can't even begin to imagine how you made the scene at 1:00 with the binoculars move so naturally.
Thank you very much - I'm glad you liked it!
Wow, very nicely done!
Amazing work like always! Happy to see the increased focus on animation in this one!
Thank you Orca! Appreciate it :~)
Absolutely top notch work again! I really love the animation work in this, the incremental movements are great!
Thank you!
God damn this is good. Everything about this is top tier
Appreciate it man, thank you
Truly spectacular 😔
So good! Potentially my new favorite of your Brickfilms, along with the Pickpocket of Steam Central. :) Also the music choice is so perfect, really adds to the feel of an old noir film. Great work once again man!
Thank you my friend! I really enjoyed 'The Baron' :~)
@@StanleyQBrick Thank you! :)

Thank you man, happy to hear you've liked it!
This was so amazingly well done 🤩
Thank you, glad you like it!
I love this! keep up the good work!
Thank you!
This is so cool i love it
This is such an awesome tribute to the noir genre! Was that soft glow effect something you did in post? Or did you pull a Greig Fraser and use a really dirty lens? Whatever you did, it added so much character to the shots. Superb work! "We will watch your career with great interest!"
Thank you! I used Tiffen diffusion filters to achieve the glow - and enhanced it in post when needed.
I love this so much, another banger for the community of brick filmmakers. What’s your favorite noir film?
Thank you! My favorite film noirs are Pickup on South Street, The Maltese Falcon, The Third Man and Casablanca (if you count it as a film noir, which I think you can)
