Love the content man. Same reason I picked up a Decade maple kit. The drums are beautiful obtainable and inspiring to sit behind bonus Pearl sticks by their guarantee if they messed up they take care of you. Same thing with my zildjians the price was right and the sound is dark crisp and wonderful! Play what you love and love what you play!

Cause Elevation Worship Drummer Vincent Baynard actually posted how they tune their drums a few days ago. It’s pretty good if you’re looking for the more modern worship sound. Cody Carnes drummer also posted his name is Austin Davies. Hope this helps.

I love mine too. I switched from DW. After needing a bigger kit.. It was gonna be way to much money for an 8 piece dw kit.. But my Saturn kits Is amazing. I'd play em over any of my past DW kits

How often do you break cymbals? I love the Zildjian thins but rarely get over 3-4 years and our church buys the equipment so I hate to mention it. I would consider Paiste if they would last longer. BTW, I don’t really hit hard by typical standards I see. Love your stuff. RJ
I love my PDP X7 kit. In my humble opinion, a good set of shells around the $800-$1000 price point and appropriately chosen heads with good tuning and toning (pun intended) can give you the sound of $5000 or higher.

You should check out the Linsoul KZ Zs10pro IEM's. People have been jumping of the walls for these things. I dont personally have a pair, but they clock in at around $50, but apparently sound like some of the more top well known brands. Rob "beatdown" Brown does a review on these. Check it out. Cheers.
Mapex is the reason I started watching your channel along with you playing Christian music. I play Mapex Meridian at my church. Good affordable drums that sound good. Have you seen the new Mapex design lab series? I want to see them in person.

Agree with Daniel 150% ..The drum companies are there to SELL drumsets not to give them for FREE, specially if you are not EXPOSED in a big tour or something that THEY CAN USE YOU FOR MORE SALES. Economy has changed the way endorsements are. Seems to me nowadays that some people think that you need to have
an endorsement in your resume, well its not true. Youre NOT gonna be hired for a session or a tour because you play a particular brand of drums... you get a tour or a gig based on how u play, sound and all other factors. So DONT THINK THAT AN ENDORSEMENT WILL VALIDATE YOUR PLAYING because it wont. PLAY WHAT YOU LOVE!!!
Is always and it will always be about BUSINESS and MONEY at the end of the day. Dont think that u are less than other drummers because you are not endorsed by so and so.... all bullshit.

I noticed Mapex doesn’t talk much online. At least my experience. Usually Pearl, Alesis, PAISTE and Sabian respond from my experience but I don’t see Mapex, Tama, Roland etc.

We finally had a chance to upgrade our kit at church a couple of years ago and went from a white Mapex Venus kit to a Transparent Walnut Mapex Armory kit. I've always been a fan of of giving the "underdog" a chance. When shopping, there were tons of Pearl/Gretsch/PDP/Tama kits in our range, and I kept hearing 1 small weakness here, and 1 small weakness there. No one had anything to say about the Armory series, so I though.. why not? Our little Venus kit had done us well for almost 2 decades and was used when we got it. So far, we haven't been disappointed at all! Looks beautiful (which is actually pretty important for a church), and doesn't sound bad as far as I can tell! One of these days I'll find a good drummer to come in and tune them the way they should be and make them sound even better :-D I love the videos, and have been using them to try and learn some new things! Keep it up, and thank you for all your efforts!

yeah, i don't hold allegiance to one specific brand in any walk of life really, but when it comes to drums, i do feel _a little_ more of a draw toward dw/pdp and sabian ( literally, only a little 😋 ), but i play with *everybody,* as long as it sounds good to me and fits the usage and placement on a kit; and i would never want to not be able to play a brand because of a contract with one company.
i do, however, seem to gravitate toward ibanez guitars and basses, dodge trucks, sony sound products, and ( for my business ) echo 2 cycle equipment 😂🤣 but of course, not exclusively.
