leader/rapper is Hongjoong who does a large majority of song production for the group,
the guy you said looks like RM his name is Mingi he’s another rapper, the other 6 are vocalists.
also the name is pronounced AYE- TEASE instead of UH-tease, and also the biggest thing is their choreography, they are prob the most skilled dancers i’ve ever seen if you check out their dance practices its nuts.

Hongjoong doesn't do " a large majority of song production". He's the most involved among the group and does produce full songs from time to time, but most of their discography is composed and produced by EDEN.

he's still relatively new to kpop keep that in mind folks! most newbies will automatically think of bts if they started off with bts. :) i remember back in 2008 i got into big bang and super junior and all groups i got into afterwards would be compared to them (in terms of looks) like "oh he looks like leeteuk" about mblaq's joon or "oh he looks like kangin" when baekho debuted with nu'est, he'll get the hang of it in no time.

Thank you for reacting to Ateez!! Their storyline is so intricate. I HIGHLY suggest also listening to Say My Name, HALA HALA, and THANXX. There are eight members in total, all very close in age!
You're right in calling it "falsetto." Falsetto is the section in a person's vocal range where they flip to the upper register of their vocal chords. It doesn't have a set pitch range. Like, my first passaggio is right between a Bb4 and C5, and after that I'm in my falsetto range. Taehyung from BTS hits his first passaggio around C#4 and then his falsetto extends all the way up to approximately D6. It's different for every person. ^-^

I've just started the video, but major props for giving links to the videos and encouraging people to go like and subscribe, that's not something I ever see react channels do. And as an side, the music videos are on the KQ channel (and good job watching the KQ ones and not Stone Music), but the chaos videos are on Ateez's channel, because not only are the stupid talented, they're chaotic af crackheads.

My Favorite memory is that this is the first group that i watched from the debut on their debut date....and i'm so glad I did. Pirate King is still my favorite ATEEZ song....What a debut.
Man..Ateez has a hell a big storyline of Pirates and good & bad guy stuff, time travelling so and so. Their mv colors, band music, costumes even a single prop they use are all related to their fucking storyline...If u dig deep u will get hooked . They are called Kpop Pirates for nothing 😌❤️
their concept is being pirates, they have a lot of songs that have an anthem like style, they are my favorite group by far, I'm studying Korean only to be able to sing along, the choruses, not the rap parts of course

The yellow and blue color scheme filter isnt random, it gets used in movies and MVs to symbolize the time (yellow past, blue future) ateez has a big storyline that u can see through their mvs its like a series there was some mvs from "past ateez" in the story and the "future ones" and ANSWER MV was the one where both sides faced eachother thanks to time traveling ( theres a scene where theyre sitting facing eachother on the table) the white masked character is their enemy, hope this explains the choice of colors and scenes, you ll see it more everytime u watch more mvs from them

ateez does have alot of "band" feels in some songs as well as their intros to their albums mostly because of their concept which is pirates! if you do react to more ateez i suggest their Kingdom Performances. As well as their other Music Videos like Thanxx, Aurora, Hala Hala and Say My Name.

Great to see more Inception love! Answer is definitely my favourite for a myriad of reasons, but the best thing about ATEEZ are their live performances. If their MVs have you interested, their live stages will have you hooked! Highly recommend reacting to their cover of Black Cat Nero on Immortal Songs (they have an MV for it too but the live provides more context), MAMA 2019 performance and their Wonderland Kingdom stage! 💛

ateez's main concept is pirates, so they have a lot of anthem type songs (wonderland, say my name, fireworks, thanxx, etc.) but they also have ton of softer songs
I can't really say which song of their is my favorite, cause they have tons of amazing songs, but my favorite member is hongjoong (the one that started off wonderland, he's the leader and is one of the 2 rappers)
I found your channel a few days ago and i'm an atiny haahah so really happy to see this... their history line is complicated and every mv and a lot of stages (for awards and kigndom) are related... but they are pirates hahha I hope you noticed that 😂😂 I recommend to watch pirate king (their debut), hala hala and say my name and their most recent mvs thanxx and fireworks :) they're mostly known for being amazing performers and dancers so their vocals usually don't get the love that they deserve

You should react to Ateez Performance of Wonderland from Kingdom Legendary War.
It was a competition between 5 other groups and ateez.
They change wonderland into a pirate theme so they rearrange the song,make choreography,sing and rap. They are amazing live performers.
Their live performances are incredible. I think you'd enjoy their 2020 MAMA performance, a mix of Inception and Answer (it was kind of a teaser for the show Kingdom Legendary War). For Kingdom, they did an epic version of Wonderland (Symphony 9 From the Wonderland).

Wonderland is absolutely a war song! As others have said, ATEEZ has a super complex storyline running through all of their videos (with hints and story development sprinkled throughout their performances and other media as well), and in wonderland the characters are ramping up for a big confrontation that we see the beginning of in Answer. It involves alternate dimensions with alternate versions of themselves and a dystopian android government, among other things.

The thing i love about k-pop, and you can definitely notice that, is that it's not one genre. They made their own and that's why not every song has the same vibe, tone, beat, instruments al that stuff. So that's why you might really like one song of an group but the other one is not completely your vibe
As someone who's been listening to kpop for 7 years I think Ateez has some of the best music in kpop. Their songs are so well produced and have a lot of details that you won't catch at first listen, which is also why I never get tired of listening to their songs
Ateez equals power vocals, talented dancers and incredible rappers... there are also actors in the group, I'm extremely proud 🥲
Ateez storyline is very in depth. They have a pirate concept that crosses the majority of the music videos so a lot of their songs have a sea shanty beat to it.

the color schemes aren’t random btw their whole discography has a warm and cold color scheme. like they have red songs, blue songs and music videos.
the red songs are representative of evil, passion, desire and intensity while the blue songs are representative of the good, light, happy and/or comfort.
some songs are purple; they’re the ones that are a mix of the two and are hard to put into either category tho they can lean into one..one of them can be their song “precious” and while many ppl would consider it a blue song the lyrics and sound can also be considered red especially towards the end of the song (bridge and what comes after)
most of their comebacks have come paired in red and blue
