I know storylines are really complicated with most groups, but I just want to say ATEEZ’s storyline is probably the coolest one I’ve seen in kpop. it’s just soooo unique.
If you just quit your job because of a mental breakdown, then Ateez are EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED! Pay close attention to their lyrics, they are for you. Start mainlining their radio interviews, variety shows (especially weekly idol), and their own content. They radiate joy and silliness and fun. They care about their own mental health and Atiny staying stress free and being true to themselves. They write songs about it being not too late and how we will get through things. When I’m listening to Ateez, I know I must be in a good place mentally because I can’t connect to them otherwise. If you found them, you are doing better, and Atiny’s are thrilled to have you.

I may be wrong, but I’ve heard people say that Woosan (Wooyoung x San) plays a part in their storyline. Apparently San doesn’t have much of a regard for his own life and is constantly sacrificing himself whereas Wooyoung says “Nope!” and is always there to catch him before he falls.

Ateez‘ storyline is complex and sometimes difficult to understand, but after some time you’ll get a hang of it. If I remember correctly in their recent interview with Sumni Hongjoong gave an explanation on how their series are connected and a basic on how the universe works. Also, you should watch Answer and Say my Name, they display their style pretty well. But in general, all their songs are amazing. I love to watch people get into Ateez because it’s literally amazing how everyone falls in love with what they do. Loved your reactions😄have fun diving deeper into their world

Last year, it was DejaVu vampire version--highly recommend! I also highly recommend their dance practices. Aurora (written by Hongjoong for Atiny) is lovely, then maybe Dreamers (japanese track) which is very pretty (& shows rapper Seongwha. Just a bar or so but still cool.)
Ateez has a very diverse discography where anyone can find something in a genre they prefer. They switch up genres a lot so I would suggest starting with their title tracks and then moving on the B-side performances. Edenary Ateez’s production team, do a fantastic job with the music and make every song distinctly Ateez. You might be more fond of a certain genre of music, but Ateez has a way of making you like multiple genres and styles just by listening to their discography.

I highly highly suggest watching the ateez world movement trailers 1 and 2. It will explain what's happening in the Guerrilla video better. 🥰 It's a very dystopian thing. The child at the end is one of the students in the school at the beginning of the MV. The ones Ateez are trying to reach out to with their message.
Hongjoong's rap signature is laughing/ giggling before his rap starts. It is because he want to keep the pirate theme in his rap / song, also pirates usually laugh right? Hongjoong is the captain as well. The term 'Captain' is used among ateez and atiny (ateez's fandom ; ateez + destiny = atiny). We didnt called hongjoong, the Leader, instead the Captain. Mingi's rap signature is "Fix On" before he starts his rap. Because it means he want the listeners to lock their ears to his rap. If im not mistaken, everytime you heard the Fix On, it means that Mingi wrote his rap part by himself.

LOL, their Kingdom performances of 'Wonderland' and 'Answer' is what got me into them as well. I was originally watching it for Stray Kids, but ATEEZ just blew me away. Then I saw ATEEZ on 'Stressfull things' and I was a goner 😅 I would normally not call myself a fan of 4th gen groups. I like several groups music, like Stray Kids, but wouldn't go as far as to say I'm a fan, because they're like a lot younger than me, and it's just weird for me. I'm more comfortable being a fan of 2nd gen groups (I'm a very proud E.L.F 😉) but I've just fallen for ATEEZ and their music and absolute crazy all around talent and dedication, so I consider myself a noona ATINY, or rather, an elftiny 😁 Group energy wise, they're kinda like SuJu, that chaotic and fun energy, so maybe that's why I can be a fan of both, despite their VERY different music styles 😅 About favorites and recommendations... I've been a baby noona atiny for half a year and gone through their music several times and they have SO much amazing and not to mention diverse, music, I honestly don't know where to begin 😅 But maybe most defiantly 'Answer' is a favorite of mine and 'Inception' is a popular one too and its a bit like 'Deja-vu' - sensual. Then there's 'The real', 'Turbulence', their debut song 'Pirate king'. There's 'Hala, hala', 'Illusion', 'Say my name', 'Fireworks', 'Wave', 'Aurora'... Okay, maybe you should just begin with the beginning... they've 'only' been out for 4 years, so there's not THAT much 😅 Also, if you watch and listen chronically, you'll get the story lines 😉
The members are all born 1998-2000 (Seonghwa is the oldest born in 1998 like Hongjoong, jongho is the youngest in 1998, and all 5 other members are 99s). So you’re pretty much in the same age range as them! Hongjoong’s signature laugh is almost in every song, it’s a good thing to pick up on if you wanna know when he’s coming in to snatch your attention. I really love his rapping tone! It’s very diverse and smooth, he sounds effortlessly great live and is a real fashionista. He’s also known to be for moral campaigns and seems like a real cool guy. And Yeosang’s got a very cute face and a personality just as cute, the whole of ATEEZ is his No.1 fan. I don’t think he always notices though, he’s pretty much constantly zoned out (which is endearing). Unfortunately he doesn’t get many lines and screen time, but we keep hoping!

Plus you need to understand the genre So you can talk about it and compare the elements of what genre it is not the group to another group. Yeah san always sacrifices himself, hes the right hand man of the captian, Hongjoong. Wooyoung always tries to prevent San from sacrificing himself

They have an in house choreography team named BB Trippin (BB = Block B, their company seniors) who sometimes work with guest choreographers. For Guerilla, they worked with Sienna Lalau who famously created choreo for BTS's On and participated in the creation of choreo for Stray Kids God's Menu and Back Door.
An overview of their storyline based on a recent interview with Sunmi: There are two universes, the one with ATEEZ (Universe A) and the one with Halateez, the black pirates (Universe Z), who are often wearing black clothes and fedoras (as in the bridge of DejaVu). They use the Cromer (hourglass) to travel through space and time. In Universe Z, the Halateez are fighting against their government who have banned the arts because they think human emotion is a disease (Rhythm Ta performance on Kingdom). KQ posted 2 movie quality trailers and other short clips prior to dropping the Guerilla MV which give backstory (it's a Halateez comeback).

I would suggest Turbulence for one of your next ones as it's vastly different from their normal MVs and soft-vocal focused so I think it shows a lot of their range.

I'm from 2nd gen era too. Ateez r the 1st 4th gen group that caught my eye bcz their debut songs were epic
If you're interested in seeing their lighter softer side ... they have beautiful ballad-y tracks. But for vids Promise has a nice, charming feel (they filmed it during their first European tour)... Aurora (written by Hongjoong for Atiny) is lovely, then maybe Dreamers (japanese track) which is very pretty (& shows rapper Seongwha. Just a bar or so but still cool.)

Ateez has a very diverse discography where anyone can find something in a genre they prefer. They switch up genres a lot so I would suggest starting with their title tracks and then moving on the B-side performances. Edenary Ateez’s production team, do a fantastic job with the music and make every song distinctly Ateez. You might be more fond of a certain genre of music, but Ateez has a way of making you like multiple genres and styles just by listening to their discography.

It's a very dystopian thing. The child at the end is one of the students in the school at the beginning of the MV. The ones Ateez are trying to reach out to with their message.
Hongjoong's rap signature is laughing/ giggling before his rap starts. It is because he want to keep the pirate theme in his rap / song, also pirates usually laugh right? Hongjoong is the captain as well. The term 'Captain' is used among ateez and atiny (ateez's fandom ; ateez + destiny = atiny). We didnt called hongjoong, the Leader, instead the Captain.
Mingi's rap signature is "Fix On" before he starts his rap. Because it means he want the listeners to lock their ears to his rap. If im not mistaken, everytime you heard the Fix On, it means that Mingi wrote his rap part by himself.

LOL, their Kingdom performances of 'Wonderland' and 'Answer' is what got me into them as well. I was originally watching it for Stray Kids, but ATEEZ just blew me away. Then I saw ATEEZ on 'Stressfull things' and I was a goner 😅 I would normally not call myself a fan of 4th gen groups. I like several groups music, like Stray Kids, but wouldn't go as far as to say I'm a fan, because they're like a lot younger than me, and it's just weird for me. I'm more comfortable being a fan of 2nd gen groups (I'm a very proud E.L.F 😉) but I've just fallen for ATEEZ and their music and absolute crazy all around talent and dedication, so I consider myself a noona ATINY, or rather, an elftiny 😁 Group energy wise, they're kinda like SuJu, that chaotic and fun energy, so maybe that's why I can be a fan of both, despite their VERY different music styles 😅
About favorites and recommendations... I've been a baby noona atiny for half a year and gone through their music several times and they have SO much amazing and not to mention diverse, music, I honestly don't know where to begin 😅 But maybe most defiantly 'Answer' is a favorite of mine and 'Inception' is a popular one too and its a bit like 'Deja-vu' - sensual. Then there's 'The real', 'Turbulence', their debut song 'Pirate king'. There's 'Hala, hala', 'Illusion', 'Say my name', 'Fireworks', 'Wave', 'Aurora'... Okay, maybe you should just begin with the beginning... they've 'only' been out for 4 years, so there's not THAT much 😅

Ateez is one of ma fav. Groups in all time for me as my journey with kpop n ma favorites is not much ; they r awwwesommmmmmmme .
The members are all born 1998-2000 (Seonghwa is the oldest born in 1998 like Hongjoong, jongho is the youngest in 1998, and all 5 other members are 99s). So you’re pretty much in the same age range as them!
Hongjoong’s signature laugh is almost in every song, it’s a good thing to pick up on if you wanna know when he’s coming in to snatch your attention. I really love his rapping tone! It’s very diverse and smooth, he sounds effortlessly great live and is a real fashionista. He’s also known to be for moral campaigns and seems like a real cool guy.
And Yeosang’s got a very cute face and a personality just as cute, the whole of ATEEZ is his No.1 fan. I don’t think he always notices though, he’s pretty much constantly zoned out (which is endearing). Unfortunately he doesn’t get many lines and screen time, but we keep hoping!

Hongjoong's laugh is usually his intro or exit. But he does it randomly sometimes and I'm a SUCKER for it. Love it. Love Ateez. Hongjoong is my bias and San is my bias wrecker. Also, Wonderland is one of my faves because of Hongjoong's presence and his laughs and what not. The halloween version they did for Wonderland is my fave because of Hongjoong's movements.

Plus you need to understand the genre So you can talk about it and compare the elements of what genre it is not the group to another group.
