@@niemasupreme yes we did, the money was for the school *not personally for Ms. Alicia to purchase items so she wouldn’t have to use her own anymore. She’s spent soo much of her own money over countless years, that why we said, wish the money was for her personally!

I remember my two favorite teachers from kindergarten & first grade. Mrs. Johnson & Mrs. Freeman. I thank GOD for those two ladies for making an early difference in positivity to my life. It helped shape some of who I am today.

Let us Collectively Pray for her and those like her. They need our continued support in any way, shape or form. I am a couponer that also "Penny Shop" at Dollar General. I have donated gallons of Elmer's Glue, school supplies, hygiene products and snacks to random teachers in NC. Years ago, I had an opportunity to support them further as an ISS Coordinator. I saw first-hand, the stress, frustration, commitment, dedication and Beauty of our educators.

Wow wow wow!This was so beautiful & inspiring, she deserves to be celebrated! I’m glad that they are creating this environment and setting the example for all to see. Hopefully more schools will incorporate this great idea to classroom’s. School is where students spend a lot of time it should be a safe, healing space also!

So he makes a donation and now the hub is named after him? Make it make sense. AND the $20k should have been gifted to her. She put more than $20k worth of time, materials, and supplies into creating and maintaining the hub. Something is off about this. But CONGRATULATIONS to this beautiful teacher! She’s amazing!!!

This was her idea, I would've loved to see them name the hub after her. I love that he donated money because it's needed. But it would've been a great way to give back to her endless hours of finding ways to bridge the gap with the children's trauma, lack of, and much more

Whoo chile this had me in tears. One this woman is so beautiful! She looks like she could be related to actress Emayatzy Corienaldi, they really do favor. (She's the actress who plays the lead on Hulu's "Reasonable Doubt." )Teaching is a calling and I know for sure her example is impactful. I had two beautiful black female teachers in elementary school in NYC - Ms. Fredi Balzano who has passed and Ms. Mary Brayboy. It's been a looooooong time since then but I never forgot them. And this beautiful woman deserves all her flowers and then some! I hope someone sees this and gives her even more. If I had it, I certainly would. More blessings to her and I hope she has a wonderful vacation.

Thank you for showing appreciation for educators. We're the only ones that give our paychecks back to our careers and work over 100 hours a week for less than 40 hours of payment. (Incredibly, parents expect us to...)
