^I guess you see what I did there^ Yes motorcycle riders are at greater risk but not the greater threat - there's more idiot car drivers incidents and they can potentially kill more yet they have greater protection than motorcycles but still don't chose to use the safety but it's the law.

Omg as a trauma nurse I can barely watch these cycle chases. They just make me have some real PTSD. That guy was extremely lucky is all I can say since He wasn’t wearing a brain bucket and all. Yikes!

My mother was a travel nurse in California, She had a guy come in with his intestines out because he wrecked a motorcycle and slide down a guardrail.

Here in hot springs I watch a chase last week and the driver had been caught running just 8 months ago they don’t keep them behind bars very long

I feel the Lords hands over the situation. Thank God. There wasn't much traffic. Also through the residential areas there were no children. . Even how they criminal was able to keep his self from death. It awesome to have some good trained driving from the ASP and Local authorities. Theyre all prone to accidents by accidents. TRUST GOD hands.
As a retired Registered Nurse with 34 years of experience, I lost count of how many motorcyclists I cared for in various hospital trauma units. One guy, 21-years-old, just graduated from Harvard and was going to start Law School there. He gets on a friend's motorcycle, without a helmet of course, and gets into a horrific accident where he is ejected off the cycle and flies 30 feet into the air where his head directly impacts a telephone utility pole. All he could say after he came out of his coma was: "ga ga goo goo." His parents, both university professors, were utterly inconsolable. He wound up in a skilled nursing home for the rest of his life and to this very day, cannot walk, feed himself, or perform any ADLs - activities of daily living. He wears diapers and speaks like a one-year-old. Tell me you don't want to wear motorcycle helmets again.
I know you guys and girls over in the USA get pretty upset at anyone trying to interfere with your rights but a crash helmet should be mandatory for motorcyclists. It's a traffic offence to not wear your crash hat on a motorbike here in the UK, has been for many years, and has contributed greatly to saving lives. People tend to forget how vulnerable you are on two wheels in amongst the cars and trucks on busy highways.

It never fails to amaze me that these idiots can not think to avoid attracting unwanted attention. Expired tags! If I was (stupid enough) to courier drugs, I would be doing it in a 4 year old Camry, with untinted windows, fully registered and insured, with no lights out, good tires, and seat belts done up. I would be coming to a full stop at all stop signs, signalling all turns, and conforming with speed limits. But, I guess they are not catching the smart ones often.
This should be an automatic 30 year sentence.

@49:45 Trooper Nelson yells at the bicyclist “Get out of the road!”. Granted he was on the wrong side of the road, ran a stop sign , and failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, but he is still entitled to ride in the road.
