There is a helicopter overhead when he gets to the driveway. You can hear it when the officer gets out and starts yelling at him

I thought Trp. Thomas was chasing ghosts till he got to the driveway. At least the guy didn't have his pants around his knees, didn't cry or ask what he did. Too bad there is no report, but at least he got caught.
Yep. That ended the way we like pursuits to end. No innocent civilians got hurt. When the suspect was caught, he didn't argue or fight with the trooper. He manned up and admitted what he did was wrong and stupid, I respect someone who does that. No pepper spray, no taser, no K-9, and no guns.

Texas DPS (State Troopers) are very strict too and they arrest illegals all the time in South TX and they do PIT/TVI Maneuvers, but they never release dash cam videos to the public and they have spike strips used more often.

Very confused by this video. Never seemed like the Charger was running, actually couldn’t tell the Trooping was actually pursuing anything at all. Also don’t get where the trooper got PC the open up and start searching the car. I guess the trooper saw different than what was on the dash cam.

@@fartingduck5316 I've never been pulled over in 26 yrs of driving. LRPD is community based... we know our cops & they don't typically harass us over traffic stops unless you're just being very reckless.
@@fartingduck5316 This just didn't make sense. He wasn't going any faster than the other cars. To stop traffic & make a U turn seems a bit much. The man was respectful, knew he made a bad decision but once you decide to go, can't take it back. Seems like he just wanted to get the car home. People get tired of being fawked with & that's stressful which leads to bad decisions. All owners of fast cars like chargers, corvettes, ect are feeling targeted. Yea some run but police can't be stalking & pulling over people because of the type of car they drive or for any other unlawful reason.
