I know. Throughout there I was like "...Huh? Like adobo but not? Is it adobo? Or chashu? No, kinda like bagnet or lechon kawali? What?" Not in a bad way but its so weird to see it cooked differently than the traditional style. Looks delish though. Gonna try that one.

@@ali-ohm44 Yes we know. Its never said that its expected to be cooked traditionally since its just 'inspired'. Its just odd to see it since we associate adobo to a certain process that we grew up with. Kinda like when a place you know and love gets remodeled and you go "Huh?" coz it feels weird not to see what you normally see.

I thought it would be Lechon Kawali or something, but I guess I'm wrong... 'cuz I haven't seen anyone cook adobo like that before, so... yeah. Got caught off guard.

Im half disturbed by how complicated they made pork adobo. Filipino cuisine is supposed to be simple. Sure it might be delicious af but the real magic of Filipino dishes is the taste of home.

I don't even know where I could buy most of these cheeses. I honestly don't think ANY importers around here offer them!
