I just did you trick, I actually is the best way to farm sp. The only other method that work but in small proportion is going to "classic mode", start battle at 5.0, win first fight and die second, don't continue. You get 300 coins and between 50-200sp. Good job.

U can also sell the cores of legend spirits when u dismiss them in items and u can get about 1,500 sp per legend core
One more thing, when update 8.0 came out in June of 2020, it gave us the option to replay spirit battles. So when people keep winning against legend spirits, they get 9,999,999 sp really fast.
You can also sell his core, 1.5k each
I would recommend actually using Ganandorf with the primary spirit Medusa and a secondary spirit of slow super armor, it makes you take no knock back and you do a lot of damage

Here's another helpful tip: Go to "Objects" in the Inventory section, scroll over to the core's option, then sell the core. Each legendary core sells for a flat 1500 SP, regardless of level, type, and number of slots. So in the above video, if we were to do that, we would earn an additional 16,500 SP, so instead of JUST earning around 38k SP, you would earn a WHOPPING 54.5k SP in one go!!!

If you want or need (somehow) more SP after this, sell the cores of all the spirits you dismissed, and you gain 1500 SP no matter the condition of the legendary spirit for every legendary core sold.
You could also max out the Tabuu spirit as it gives 4,000 sp for every level 99
Before reading: ( I do not consider this way to be better than the video, but the pros to this new method include: Not spending gold, not wasting time leveling up spirits, extra items)
Note: This method requires dlc
There is a easy non time consuming method for grinding SP, Gold, Snacks, board items all in one go. First pick Ness, then go to the Gruntilda fight in the Banjo Kazooie Series board. Set up your party as follows:
Primary Soma Cruz: Giant Killer
Support Gruntilda: Poison Power up
Spam side b on Gruntilda,
The total time it should take you is 30 seconds a match: making you 300 SP from the Gruntilda spirit and a mean SP gain of 150 just for winning the battle for an hour of grinding you should be able to make 54,000 SP without wasting gold.
Also note: you can sell cores for both primary and support spirits

The number 1 best way that I get sp is this. Do the following steps
1.Beat fierce deity link
2.Equip ganondorf .
3.Get this spirit combo.
4.SIrius for primary
5. any 1 slot weapon attack for secondary
6. 2 slot slow super.armour
7. Go to fierce diety link and fight him in collections
8.Go ham on fierce deity link
from this I got over 30k in under 5 minutes
Right now, I have over 8 million SP. I'm trying to find out if there is a limit to how many SP one player can hold in the whole game file. Not entirely if one can have more than 10 million SP.
I usually just fought Tabuu in the spirits library over and over using giant and metal killers

Holy crap! You've got so many Queen Metroid spirits. Also, can you show us how to farm way more gold coins?
I was testing with different legends at different levels until I decided to settle down on Link :D
Also, I really hope there will be a new patch where players can convert SP to Gold Coins or the other way around instead of doing all of what you showed us and playing Smash while only crouching endlessly during battle as a way of earning even more gold. It would be ideal for those who have too many SP or Gold that they cannot anymore than the recommended amounts. You might say some of us are just too lazy or simply have other important things to do.
When I did exactly what this video showed us, I first started leveling up every available Legend-class Spirits I've obtained. But I decided to save them for when I get at least 1 amiibo and try to level up the Figure Player.

what I do to farm is do the sothis spirit (DLC character spirit) with the medusa spirit as a primary and the halberd as support
(the medusa spirit is enchanced tho)
if you use the demon style black knight with a giant spirit, you can kill sothis in 2 F smashes very easily
I did this and now have 150k sp

use this with gruntilda on dlc spirits, she’s so easy
i use phantom thieves of hearts of joker's dlc board to do this, the good thing is if you die (the embarrassing moment when you try to rush an enemy ko and move too far lol) theres no limit on retries and theres also no rng with the board spawns which means you can take your time in other modes and it wont disappear when you either cant keep playing or you go to a different mode to play. the only drawback with this one tbh is that there are several targets and if youre not quick enough it can become a nasty mess (literally). its not hard using little mac's op build tho might take some practice to keep going due to item problems
I used all my shuffles to find a link and instead got 7 baby bowser spirits

Yeah you can. The easiest strategy is Gruntilda Farming because Its actually pretty easy.
Step 1: Level 99 Ace/Legend Defense Spirit
Step 2: Use Ganondorf
Step 3: Keep Dairing the King DDD. You'll eventually kill it
It's honestly really easy and as a bonus you'll be able to farm snacks this way too.

An easier way is to get the joker dlc then grind on the legend spirit or morgana (the cat)
I already tried. when you try to sell them you get a little SP back.
How do you get so many remaches?
You'd get more SP if you used a weaker party.
Yes of course but my assumption was Time > little more SP (because you can kill another link fast). Whichever works for you guys :)

There is a way better way to farm sp now, just go to pauline in the spirit list section, put on a staff equipped spirit, and kill her in 2-3 shots. Easiest sp farming ever
