"annoy" ANY nuclear State, and you run the risk of citizens of such a state getting mad enough to start launching their nukes.

Russia was told to get out of Ukraine, but they did not. They can not complain about Ukraine fighting back. The Ukrainian ambassador is absolutely right in my opinion.
The Russians should understand they can never win this war. Just think about it; even if they would 'win', fighting would continue. Example is the Afghanistan war with Russia and later America fighting the Taliban.
This is all just Putins big miscalculation or perhaps just a crazy way to cling to power. The recent IS attack again shows how incredibly weak Russia is.

This includes the Karni and Erez crossings, which give direct access to the north of Gaza. Only safe and unfettered access for aid and aid workers, the lifting of the siege and an immediate ceasefire can end starvation in Gaza.” - Melanie Ward, the chief executive of Medical Aid for Palestinians
