He could have played for the biggest clubs, won everything and be 3x richer. Instead he decided to stay where his heart was. Let football aside, here’s a guy who understood what life’s about. I remember growing up in Argentina and going thru every sport channel hoping to see him play, and when that happened, I was as happy as a boy could be. My childhood hero. Forever grateful. As I’m writing this I made up my mind to go out today wearing my flamboyant 97 Celtic away shirt with that number 7 that belongs to the one and only HENRIK LARSSON 🇦🇷🏴🇸🇪
This is the difference between players then and now (and its not even that long ago) Larsson loved the club and fans for everything we did for him. Players now feel like they're a gift from god and want to use Celtic as a stepping stone. We need players for the badge. Just like Larsson. Henrik is the greatest.

I met him one time. He was signing autographs outside the stadium. One of the guys in front of me, right Glasgow (i'm North) he said, " you're a legend Hen,standing out here and singing for us" and he looked at the boy and he went "you made me. you guys made me". i'll never fortget it.

This great man killed my uncle James, my uncle James, he broke down crying, he was heartbroken when he left, he took a stroke a few months before he left, and after henrik left, my uncle gave up the fight, and died a few months later, my uncle followed celtic since the late 20s, and henrik was his favourite player of all time. 😢
