I love Japanese music, it made me start learning Japanese. My most favorite band is SCANDAL❤️ also I like SPYAIR, ONE OK ROCK, Tsukiko Amano, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Stereopony, Polkadot Stingray, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, ZONE, Eir Aoi, Nano, LiSA, Aimer, Hello Sleepwalkers, BAND-MAID, PassCode etc.

I went to tokyo 2pac, Michael Jackson, and Chris brown are well known and loved. when they play them in the club everyone get up dance, and singing to the lyrics. Hilarious considering that 98% of them are not fluent English speakers but they sing the song so clearly you would think they know English

I love Babymetal. Su-Metal has a great voice. They inspired me to start learning Japanese . I love Risa's street interviews and would like to see a thousand more videos like this heheh.
Started with Babymetal for me and then ended up falling deep into the Sakura Gakuin rabbit hole. Now I understand 60-70% of conversational Japanese only from watching Sakura Gakuin's weekly live streams.
BabyMetal is a gateway drug for me. I started with BabyMetal now i listen to alot of japanese metal like X Japan, Maximum the Hormone,Dir en Grey etc.
I really love these videos. Not only are they entertaining to watch but they also help me get used to listening to native japanese speakers and how certain words are pronounced. Really helpful thank you❤️👍🏻

Futarigoto is also my favorite. It’s all beautiful love letters, speak the blatant truths, and the sound is always different. You could even cut songs into parts and wouldn’t recognize they’re from the same songs. I love Yojiro so much. You’re so amazing, I’m so proud of you Yojiro🥰😌
His voice is also too good. Only if Japan took an initiative to promote them more in other countries then instead of BTS we would hear heart touching lyrics and musics produced by RadWimps in the world.

These videos are very well done -- not only is the content understandable and interesting, but it shows the way that Japanese people naturally speak in an informal situation. They don't just use ます and です constantly, but end sentences with -te forms or とか, throw in an occasional plain form, use inverted sentences, and such. The way Risa uses politer language with the older people is also an interesting aspect of the language use. Also, the use of んです is instructive. This grammar point is really hard to explain out of context, but seeing the way the Japanese people in the video use んです and んで in this natural conversation is great.
I'm from the Philippines as well and my favorite Japanese singers/band are: Motohiro Hata, Kenshi Yonezu, KOBUKURO, EXILE ATSUSHI, Masaki Suda, Sukima Switch, RADWIMPS and a lot more.

Wow Risa has become more friendly and charismatic. Her earliest videos she was so shy. Now she is more natural. Like that.
I'll always love Malice Mizer, honestly. That was the first band that I really resonated with, and that gave me something that no other music before that ever had. Picking a favorite song is really hard, but offhand I'd probably choose Shiroi Hada ni Kuru Ai to Kanashimi no Rondo, and the lyric "Inori sasagu aria", because that whole album felt like a sanctuary to me. I think I found them in 2003 or so through going to conventions and making friends that were really into J-Rock at the time.
As far as buying CDs, absolutely! Since their separation, I've pre-ordered every CD that Mana's Moi dix Mois has released, and I think I have all of Közi's solo work too! I don't mind spending money on bands and artists that I really love, and they absolutely fit the bill.
A song I'd recommend to people is probably Gekka no Yasokyoku, if they enjoy something more upbeat, or Mayonaka ni Kawashita Yakusoku if they prefer the more operatic vibe!
I personally like WAGAKKI BAND'S SENBONZAKURA.....
I recently saw Waggaki Band in NYC few days ago, they killed the show! 2nd time I seen them!

Not gonna lie, I really like Japanese music...i like the traditional one and the modern one, my favorite groups are Amazarashi and Cö shu Nie!I also like western groups and recently I started listening to BTS(I don't listen to them because they are popular). I don't think they're well known except for the otaku community though. I also love to listen to Vocaloid but I don't exactly know how to list them down lol.

Asian here who love listening to Japanese Rock/Metal music. I watch Band-Maid reactions everyday. My favorites are Babymetal/PassCode/Band-Maid/Maximum the Hormone, some alternative idols and more Visual Kei bands. I love them all B-)
