JAY! This was the exact review I needed! I was going back and forth between party box and the klipsch since Costco is selling the klipsch for $150 a pop rn. The PartyBox has a much fuller sound. The difference is night and day in this review. Gonna pull the trigger on the PartyBox 310 😎
Perfect!
Just got the 310, blows these both away. Gonna grab a sound boks gen 3 for my other son
@@tooadiez for the price, the 310's are hard to beat. I purchased two of them and when they are wirelessly paired you can tear a house down 😎
You can tws the gigs and you get two for the same price. Also the sound stage is much different with bass boost off on the gig having used both the sound quality is better on gig imo with bass boost off
110 was enough, plug in destroys this gig rebranded klipsch
Honestly bought the klipsch today from Costco im a huge bass fan had a Sony and JBL before and this deal im satisfied its loud as Hell 💥🤛🏾🤛🏾
Enjoy it
has good bass
Great video! I though it would have been closer. LOL them JBL PartyBox speakers are hard to beat. Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
How deep bass does JBL Authentics 500 have?
Frequency response is 40 Hz, but what about maximum bass frequency range?
Can you tell me please?
I have the gig xl and I did notice the speaker sounds much better if you change the audio quality settings to high on your streaming app or use a hi-res/hi-fi music streaming service like tidal or deezer.
For my other bluetooth speakers from JBL, Monster, Harmon Kardon, Bose, and B&O they were less reliant on the music streaming app and audio quality settings to sound good. Wish the Klipsh speaker would connect to an app with eq settings.
Wanna get one but I will wait for the next model because of removable battery.
I tried Klipsch at Costco , and it sounds great in person
It's not bad. As I mentioned in a video, it's when you compare it to a JBL speaker that it becomes more noticeable how the JBL is better in all aspects
It’s on clearance for 99 right in store to
Compare the gig XXL to the Tronsmart bang max.
i just got my 110 at walmart for 298.00. thanks for the video
Absolutely!
for me the sound of the klipsh is really better, it doesn't destroy your ears and the song in high pitch, the jbl is certainly much more powerful and clear but it's way too high, it's really not pleasant
Great thing about the Partybox 110 is the app support allows you to change the sound, so if it's too bright for you it can be made to sound warmer. The Klipsch is just okay, not great. The 110 is better in every way to me.
Great job, there is def. a price difference
beautiful person! great review 👍
Just picked up the Klipsch for $150 at Costco. Last day in sales.
Love this video too. ✊️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
XXL at Cotsco is now $199. Sounds good.
I believe it was $150 for quite a while at Costco. Price increase?
microphones?
i knew the 110 was gonna ein but i didn't thik if this kind of destruction
The Klipsch sound all dirty especially at 100%
The 110 is by far the better sounding speaker.
The gig doesn't get a volume boost in power the 110 does.
The Klipsch has no chance.
Price comparison. Black Friday the 110 went as low as $199 and the XXL Dec Costco sale at $149
Great review. What was the track at 2:49?
Haunted House by Neoni. It's a free song to use in the CZcams creators music library.
Thanks!! 👍@@JaysStraightUpReviews
Jay did you get a chance to try or hear the Hisense -HP100 Ultimate Wireless Outdoor/Indoor Party Speaker, 300W, IPX4 Waterproof,15 Hour Battery, Bluetooth5.0, DJ and Karaoke Mode 4.6⭐️of star on Amazon and only in other languages b I’ve seen it on CZcams but going up against jbl.
nobody I’ve asked heard of it (that I’ve asked). but On sale on Amazon right now for 220. Just curious.
I have seen that available for a while, but have never heard it in person. Don't really have any plans to buy more cheap Chinese speakers for a while. 😄
@@JaysStraightUpReviewsit's supposedly not bad .
The review of glitched seems pretty legit
110!! No contest 😅😅😅
@@jeffmccrady9456yes it beats it but it cost 100$ more
Thanks for the video. Is Klipsch GIG XXL Portable Wireless Party Speaker more comparable with JBL Partybox 110 or 310 in terms of impact, power and sound quality? I just bought JBL partybox 310 currently available for a black friday deal price of 399.95, but was mulling over also byuing the Klipsch available for a black friday deal price of $150 at Costco, compare the two and eventually keep the one I like better. I like the 310's powerful sound, deep bass and bright sound profile and intend to use it for indoor and outdoor parties, particularly Karaoke parties. I also lke clear microphone output for karaoke singinng. Though, I think the playback sound output is more biased towards bass and power than an overall balanced sound. From this video, it appears I will still likely prefer the JBL for party purposes as even JBL 110 seems to have more "impactful" sound than the Klipsch. I imagine the difference between 310 and the Klipsch be even more noticeable. I am wondering which one would be better value for money for parties and karaoke singing. I don't intend to use the speaker for daily listening as for that I prefer a more balanced sound , for which I have my bookshelf speakers.Thoughts? 11:16 11:16
The Gig XXL is more comparable to the 110, but the 110 is better in pretty much every way.
Thanks for your quick response. In that case I won't even bother trying the Klipsch as I need the power output and impact of 310 for small to medium size parties including Karaoke singing. If the power output of the Klipsch is comparable to 110, I'll just keep my 310. I took it for a test drive for my first Karaoke party and everyone in the party liked its playback as well as microphone output.
Thanks ... 1 JBL for $300 or 2 Klipsch for $300 ... (Costco special price $150 each) Bluetooth pairing stereo my house goes BOOM 💥 with 2 Gig XXL
Costco has had the Gig XXL at $150 for a few months now. I guess they just can't get rid of them.
Obviously the 110 is better. Now is it 50% better then the XXL for $150 right now for casual use
The 110 is a really great speaker with great options and features. When it was under $300 it was a good buy. The Gig XXL is an okay speaker and nothing more than a rebranded cheap-o speaker, not a true Klipsch product. If money is short and/or you aren't very particular about what it sounds like, the Klipsch is a decent budget option. However, i still think the Onn Large Party Speaker gen 2 is better at $150.
Does the party box have a guitar input like the Klipsh?
Are you that lazy? images.app.goo.gl/ujUz78NEPHSfTHPX6
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Wow! That's rude
JBL is better ..no doubts here. I love JBL sound. Harman Kardon rulz
how are you controlling the volume
Using the Force. ✋
jbl better by bass and high frequency
Xxl or the encore. Which has more bass
Better hit that notification bell. I did the Gig XXL vs Encore Essential back in October. 😯
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Which one would be best for an indoor batting cage in the basement of the house
@@johnmanuel1268 if you want a speaker to listen to, the JBL. If you want a speaker for a target to try and hit with line drives, the Klipsch. 😆
@@JaysStraightUpReviews is the 310 too much bass
@@johnmanuel1268 too much bass? Is there such a thing? 😆
JBL "Junk But Loud" Very loud and harsh sounding. Hard on the ears.
Lighten up, Francis. 😂
Die klipsch klingt definitiv schöner und nit so nervig im Hochton wie die jbl. Hatte mal ne boombox die war auch nit schön im Hochton und bass zuviel im Verhältnis
The nice thing about the Partybox 110 is through their app you can adjust bass, treble and mids. Klipsch is just a cheap, rebranded speaker with no app support.
The Gig seems to have better bass.
Your "seemer" is apparently broken. 😂
@@JaysStraightUpReviews😂
This has nothing to do with quality. Klipsch has always had this sound signature. Clear powerful highs. Medium clean crispy bass. Its doing its job. People that prefer that sound profile will not like the muffled unclear highs of the JBL. Although i like klispch sound profile a lot, for big parties and party music jbls are better with that loud muddy mid bass. But every one listens to what they like👌
You apparently didn't get the memo, but this Klipsch Gig XXL isn't a Klipsch designed speaker. It's just a rebranded speaker they slapped their badge on and changed a couple of knobs to gold ones. 😉
@@JaysStraightUpReviews i actually read those reports before the speaker even released. apparently you still didn’t get the memo what was said above, about sound profile. A klipsch will never have loud muddy bass like a jbl no matter what price point klipsch is about powerful highs and crispy mids. I mean the klipsch gig xxl is a $120 dollar speaker, yeah a $400 dollar jbl at 4 times the price better sound louder. But you do you papa(; 😮💨✌️
@OGkush69x dude, Klipsch didn't make this speaker. They just slapped their badge on an existing speaker.. Its not a bad speaker for the current orice, but it was originally $350. No was buying at that price.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews i heard it sounds different. Its either diff internals or tuned differently. Either way thats why i skipped on this speaker because felt klipsch was being lazy. I have old klipsch 6.5 inch bookshelf speakers, klipsch powered subwoofer and the pro medias 2.1 computer speakers that are way ahead of their time👌 excellent sound quality, too bad they have gotten lazy with their new stuff. I have new jbl 310 that is loud mid muddy/boomy bass which is great for house parties where u wanna vibrate the house. But the klipsch always have more clear powerful crisp sound.
Jbl partyboxes are untouchable
They are the market leader for a reason.
Just seen the gig xxl at Costco for $149
Must be marked down for Prime Days all these retailers are jumping on this sale time.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews yea maybe
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I was thinking about getting 2 of these for my surround sound.
@@isidrosevier1125 surround sound? I don't follow.. 😲
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it will connect via Bluetooth to my TV and they are linkable to a 2nd speaker so if I get 2 I can use them to watch movies. Maybe more like a big sound bar. Not so much surround sound.
Was too much treble on the Party box
You can always adjust the treble down via the app EQ for your personal preference. 😉
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I realize that, why have the treble way out of whack in a comparison, was my point!
@@de9515 Your point is invalid. I had no treble adjustments made on the 110. If you had watched the video early on you would have known that. Only bass boost 1 enabled on the Partybox 110. Maybe you like a warm sound with no detail or clarity? If it was too bright for you, sorry about that, Jabroni. Next time I will run my videos by you first and we can run the speakers how you like them for videos released on CZcams.🤪😂
What’s the track at 6:00?
Instrumental Relaxamente by JON
Drop · Anno Domini Beats. czcams.com/video/dQFLMJene08/video.html
Klipsch sounds better and more accurate. Jbl is higher and has a strange tin like echo. Jbl tuned it to non audiophiles whose attention is grabbed by high highs and inaccurate boomy base. Klipsch tuned theirs to be tone accurate. Nice test but you fell for jbls tactics. It is not better and you will get tired of the sound.
FYI, the Gig XXL is just a cheap-o, rebranded speaker, not a Klipsch developed product. You may want to check out your headphones or get a new pair. I'm getting the smell in the air of a JBL hater. 🦨 😆
@@JaysStraightUpReviews nope no hate. JBL is not a bad speaker it just goes to high and to low and all the kids love that.
JBL is the most underrated speaker brand I believe. I got pb310 😊
@@katgray4830 goes too low, huh. Yeah, curse JBL for having great bass output. 😂
110 sounds way better, maybe your sense of hearing is bad?
Jbl forever
