Bought it for Private Parties and all my friends are blown away from that powerhouse, since we have it we are invited to every party just to play as DJ. 😂

bought one, sold it after going broke, know what? bought it again. This baby has no competitor in this range.
It’s so darn good!
Bro! I was forced to return it, due to losing my job, but definitely will buy it again in the future, hopefully soon!
😅Me im almost broke but i wouldnt sell mine 😂😂😂
Does the party box 310 come with a built FM radio? Is it really loud ? Can you use a speaker stand and is the Bass really good? If you pair 2 of the speakers will it be really loud and powerful?
@@LuisGabriel1309 its a yes to all those questions except the FM part. It doesnt have FM. But it packs a serious punch
Im having this one. I was so impressed with the quality of this product and no more words to say
Happy to hear that!
planning to buy one but want to hold off if a 320 will be coming next year.
@@metalsadmansame here. The PB 320 just got announced and it will probably be available in april. Retail will be around 599.- (50.- more than the 310). Also the 120 was announced. Now I don't know which one to pick.
I bought it a week ago, it is a very good speaker, not too small like the Pb110 and not too big like the Pb 710. Perfect for any party. The sound and battery power are very good. I recommend
Very nice!
Thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Thanks 🙏
Why does this one look so much smaller than mine? Mines like at least 3 feet tall. It’s a 310 as well… did they make a new gen that’s smaller or something??
I've been using it for 1 year, but when it was 2 weeks old, I noticed that the 2 small speakers were whispering. Even stronger with a plugged-in microphone. There were more where I bought this, so I went back. The rest were like that. Does it bother you? It's not loud, but I'd expect it not to be.
I picked it up. Very happy with its Bluetooth performance. Works like a charm every time. Sounds great in my garage gym.
Happy to hear it!
I’m from Brazil and I was kind of having thoughts whether I should buy it or not… after watching your video, I’m definitely gonna buy it, thank u for all those informations, it really helped me out
Happy to hear it! Thank you for watching!
I bought 2 of these beasts and also stands for it. Absolutely satisfied and pairing them using TWS for stereo audio works great. Simply love these!
Happy to hear it!
Got one for my son for Christmas. It’ll be here Monday. Can’t wait 😁
Happy to hear it!
The PB 320 an the PB 120 just got announced and they will probably be available in april. Both will have the option to remove the battery and swap it with a fully charged one to keep the party going. Lookswise both will look more like the PB Ultimate. The lights will also be similar to the ones found on the PB Ultimate. I am curious to compare the performance in sound quality and volume since the 310 is already really impressive. Furthermore they will have new Bluetooth 5.3 with a new wireless connection technology. This might allow more speakers from the new lineup to connect. I am pretty sure that they won't connect to the older PB (the ones with the small orange JBL Logo). Can't wait to get more information about them.
How much PB 320 ?
Bought one to try out a month ago. Love the sound and features! Just ordered my second one to enjoy the built in TWS pairing. No joke window-rattling, but still clear volume output available. I totally agree on how nice it would be to have configurable sound effects…
Great to hear! Thank you for watching!
Hey man I bought mine yesterday and the bass is seriously mind blowing great for party’s and the mids and highs are really clear and loud
It features 2x 6.5 inch woofer and 2x 2.5inch tweeters and a very powerful amplifier and it sounds absolutely amazing ❤❤❤❤
They're on sale for Black Friday. I got one a while ago and had to grab a second one. Having two playing at once is great.
Heck yes!
Your review is awesome, I purchased one JBL party box 310. Thankyou !!
Glad I could help!
Have you updated to the new 1.55.0 firmware update? I’ve only had my 310 for 3 weeks and am curious what the reason/expectation was for the update? And for the record I love this party speaker…Jbl does amazing work on all Bluetooth offerings
Usually there are release notes with firmware updates. Have you checked those on the JBL website?
Great review. Question: I think many get these to play hip hop or dub for the killer bass. How is it with rock/metal? Looking to use it to play rock tracks to jam with my guitar which is plugged through its own amp.
I'm a huge fan of this speaker for ALL genres! It has a very balanced profile right out-of-the-box.
Same here...I purchased a JBL 712, 12" PA Speaker for jamming with my guitar...while the PA speaker is absolutely mind blowing and high quality sound, I feel it's Too loud and not practical for anything indoor! It really needs space and volume to open up.....I'm looking at one of these Party boxes instead.....because I have a smaller blue tooth Speaker, and it actually sounds Spot On with jamming with guitar tracks.....the PA speaker almost sounded "too" clear for jamming with my guitar and there was a noticeable different in sound texture if that makes sense....I bet the JBL party box would be perfect though.
Planning to buy before this 2023 ends.. tnx for the review..
Happy to hear it! Thank you for watching!
It's a sound system that u fall. In love with... The power is mad.. At the same time retaining clarity.. The bass is mind blowing
Soooooo good, right?!
How the sound when watching movie on tv.?
Great review btw 😎I bought one of the 710s yesterday took it out of the box it sounded great I have two of the JBL 110s and even though both of them was not as loud as this single 710 something was missing so I went back and bought another 710 earlier tonight with TWS the 710s through true wireless stereo is a game changer it makes it twice as loud and I don’t have to cut it up as loud I can Play it somewhere between 40% and 60% I cranked it up to about 75% it still sounded great but it was definitely too loud from my house I took it up to 100% for about 10 seconds but that was pushing it I was just doing it to test it I think you get your best at about 80% then it starts getting kind of bright and mid range but at that point it’s loud AF. Once I downloaded the party box app I know it’s only a three level EQ but I boosted the base up only one notch not all the way to the top I actually pull the mid range down one notch and push the high end all the way up it definitely sounded Crisp. A pair of the 710s definitely kicks the only downside is there’s no battery but I have that in the JBL one tens and I got the 7 tens for $689 at Brandsmart and they had the 310s there for $489 marked down from $559 so with the 710s only being $200 more per speaker for me at least it was a no-brainer but everybody has their preferences I think the 310s sound very good also. If anybody has a question if they have a 710 and they ask just to make a difference I can definitely say will you pair them up and TWS it is awesome AF I cannot believe the difference and also download of the party box app playing with the different light configurations was also fun
How do you TWS two 710s?
@@Silence07617 Just press the TWS button on the back of each speaker and they will automatically paired with each other just make sure you have it connected to the Bluetooth in your phone first then do that
@@honeybadger713thank you very much!
@@Silence07617 Yw I could not find my first reply so that’s why I went back and did a second one now I can see both of them lol
Awesome video review ❤
Thank you for watching!
I loved your video, new subscriber. What will be better? 1 partybox 310 or 2 partybox 110?
Thanks for subbing! That’s great question. Do you plan on taking them around with you or listening in your home? Do you care about stereo sound or just big sound?
@@itstheBMAC thanks for answering! I'm not interested in listening to them outside the house, I like powerful sound, but also stereo sound, that's why I'm confused and I don't know which one to choose 😓
There is a stereo setting for two speakers in the app.and the sound awsome.
@edermanriquez2629 to be honest, I would generally recommend buying good acoustics and a good stereo amplifier separately hi-fi or even high and, these acoustics are more suitable for young people and diss
should i go with this or the Mackie 2053605-01 Thump Go? to note that here the PB is 655 USD whereas the mackie is 502 USD.
If i wanna play music at home which one should i get 110 or 310?
The Partybox app is not working after the Android 13 update. Can you help us. Partybox 110
How do you plug a microphone there? It has 2 jack inputs not XLR. Would it work with an Jack to XLR cable?
I'm a big JBL fan anyway - great review - see what the boxing sales have to offer I reckon!
Happy to hear it! Thank you for watching!
I bought 2 of these for my living room cause I wanted blue tooth speakers to move around with no wires. These work GREAT, no problems with connection after you learn the sequence of turning them and the TV on and the app on the phone to pair the speakers. I'm a guitar player and I Hook up my Boss JS10 trainer to it and it sounds like a Marshall Stack LOL you have to run it wired though because the trainer has no blue tooth. One issue is that I can't seem to find an EQ that will control the party boxes while running with the TV. I'm not a big Bass head really so these actually have too much bass on the boost setting, I keep it off because my dog freaks out over thunder and he hears stuff that he thinks is thunder coming from them LOL. These sound really good , I didn't want to go cheap on my sound so these were right in the Nitch where I wasn't paying thousands to get a good sound. JBL always makes a quality product so I felt safe buying them and the first one I got was at Meijer and they marked it wrong for 250.00 and they HAD to give it to me for the price they had marked which it really was 550.00 so I got it for half price, the other one I paid full price for ( bummer) LOL. I recommend these all the way and they can be taken out doors which is a real bonus and they have wheels like a piece of luggage so my old back don't have to lug them around. I'm happy with them for sure. Laying them down takes away a little of the sound quality for some reason so I keep them vertical.
I was debating on buying the new 120 but your review convinced me to get this one! Got it for the same price as the 120 for prime day !
BANG! Love to hear it!
I’ve had this one for about 2 years and man it’s great!
My only complaint is that the wheels are very small and they’re kinda useless outdoors. I tried DIYing some 10 inch wheels onto mine but the thickest galvanized steel rod that fits in that hole is 5/16 and it pretty much would bend with the weight. Might just buy one of those cooler cart kits because I’ve flipped it many times while rolling it down the street and you practically just drag it through sand when “rolling” it at the beach. Also, the rubber lid that covers where the connection goes tore off relatively quickly and I have no idea when or where that thing went or if it’s even replaceable. I just use a piece of duct tape over it now.
On the positive side, it can get very loud and even though it’s not that portable because of its weight and size, the battery lasts a really long time for something so big! I wanted to get the party box encore for actual portability but the battery doesn’t last long enough on that one.
I would like to listen from you what do you think about the groove Onn party speaker Gen 2.
Hey man im a beatboxer and i wanted to ask if this speaker is gonna be good enough with the bass especially outdoors as im gonna be street performing on it, and i wanted to know if i can play music on it and at the same time beatbox over that music with my mic? For example if i play some ambient sound or guitar sound on it with my phone and beatbox through a microphone at the same time? Thanks.
Bought this with two wireless mics for karaoke. This thing is the real deal. I compared it to a similar size Samson. Samson had more inputs but it did not sound as good or have a lightshow.
Happy to hear it!
This is exactly what I want to do!
I brought one before Christmas and was so impressed I brought another one 3 days ago. I will be using them for Karaoke. Just a note that in TWS mode both speakers play music in stereo but the microphone only goes through the speaker its plugged into. Simple fix, Use a 3.5mm male to male audio cable from Aux out to Aux in and voice comes through both speakers. You probably save a little battery power not using the TWS buttons. Sound stage, volume and bass is fantastic!
is this better and louder than the Monster X6
I've got a cheap soundbar with aux out for a subwoofer and I'm thinking this might make a good subwoofer for it!
Great Video, just picked it up
Hope you enjoy it!
I just listened to salt n pepa "push it" on this thing at full blast, and it took like a boss!
I'm sold on this, and I'm thinking of selling my evolve 30m, and getting 2 of these instead.
Just listen to that song, or one like it and you'll be sold too...trust me!
Thank you for sharing!
Can you compare this 310 to two Rockville Go Party ZR10. The cost of one JBL 310 is more than twice the price of two ZR10. I'm wondering if two ZR10 will sound better or worse than one 310. Which is louder, etc.
I’ll sure see what I can do!
Just bought mines 3days ago crazy sound ❤❤❤❤
Congrats!
I picked it up today, total impulse purchase. I was picking up an airfryer as a present for my friend, walked towards the cash register, and saw this thing on display. I wanted to buy a JBL Boombox 3 a few months ago, but those were €400. And then I saw this beast for only €350. I picked it up instantly. Unpacked it while still on the parking lot with some friends. Turned it on, blasted some music, and I have zero regrets. It fits perfectly in the truck of my car so I'm taking this thing to every party I go to. It's totally worth the price!!
Would you recommend for DJ's? Looking for a battery loud speaker with RCA ports but ive been led to believe RCA to AUX will work fine. Thanks ;)
Many do use it for DJ work, actually! It depends on venue size, but these can certainly get loud!
Go with the jbl 1000 it has a dj setup. Check it out
Can you connect 2 bluetooth device on one 310? for example in my case my laptop for media source & my smartphone for the JBL app..
Yup i do it
Looking for a new speaker for my daughter softball team for tournaments… for ppl that have this speaker would it be good for the fields?
Absolutely! Thing gets LOUD!
I want one for karaoke and dont know what i would need to hook up the two xlr mics to it. Shure sm58. Any help on this would be appreciated. The easiest solution for a layman thanks
Not familiar with those models of mics, I just bought the 2 pack wireless mics from jbl, comes with a wireless receiver, just plug the receiver in the back, to one of the ports, make sure the mic, and receiver are on, and boom, should be good to go
I bought this and its really good. The dude who created the design needs a raise. They thought about freaking everything.
Glad you like it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Can you use this for karaoke? If you plug the mic and use the mic will the music continue playing
Yes!
ive had my partybox 310 for about a week now and i still cant get around the lighting. If anyone could help me how to turn on the lights on the top controls like the treble, bass and echo buttons that would be very appreciated!
Hi! Those top controls are only for the microphone plug-in. They will not be lit up during your music mode when connected through Bluetooth. Does that make sense?
Can you use it on mains ?
Amazing video! I wish there was a Wifi version of this (better quality via Wifi.)
Maybe one day soon! Thank you for watching!
Hook it up to an Echo Dot.
Will this be able to support for an indoor event for about 280pax ? I need to use it to make a speech.
I certainly think so. This thing gets LOUD!
I have one in the trunk of my car. It sounds amazing.
That’s awesome!
I actually have TWO of them in my trunk and everyone who drives with me is amazed by the bass. Its just awesome.
Does it pair with the car speakers also? so can you use them all at once? Thanks
@@chrisdesimone4249 It is possible if you have a Samsung device. These devices have a Feature called "Dual Audio". With it you can connect to two Bluetooth speakers at the same time. First device one of the PB and second device your car.
BUT: the latency is horrible. They are never in sync. So thats not really a solution.
@@slexer4734but how do you get the treble to come through?
Hi Brian - Does it have a recording feature to record my vocal performance sang on a karaoke track?
It does not, unfortunately.
@@itstheBMAC Thanks for the quick response Brian.
I really want to buy a speaker thats loud for the outside. I know JBL is great and it has 240W output, so I'm wondering if its enough for outdoors partyes and what about big halls on the inside? Is it loud on max volume?
Outside you’ll have no problem. Inside it is a challenge to answer for sure because the more people in front of the speaker, the more insulation will occur unless you lift the speaker up. It does get loud at max volume.
@@itstheBMAC I bought 710 with 800W output and it is hella loud. It shakes pictures, windows everything in the house. Eaven at 50% plenty of stuff shakes, with bass boost off and EQ on default.
I played it outside too and got cops within 30 minutes so yeah. Don't be playing it at max volume in a city or if you're neighbours hate ya. I love it.
Can i paire it with my tv?hisense 2023???
I have one and it sucks the buttons stop working after a software update and now i can turn it off or connect to it
Did you try reaching out to JBL support?
Posso collegare una tastiera per suonare e 2 microfoni?
I bought one, I was impressed, and it was great for Karareoke . So I bought the pair with the JBL tri pods! Highly recommend the pair to get the surround stereo sound!
That’s a dream setup right there!
I just buyed one from Amazon new hope it’s worth 412 bucks with tax
The sound on this bad boy is AMAZING 👏 I've just bought a different speaker which is good but this one is on a different level!!!
It’s a beast!
You can input any sound effects is you use a pedal board or something else before the input.
Good idea! Not the same as natively being able to load your own but a workaround for sure!
It has AAC support, it connects using that codec to my s22 ultra. I can see it in the developer options
I'm seeing very conflicting information online. Even the JBL Partybox 310's own User Manual doesn't list AAC as a supported audio codec. It's all rather confusing.
@@itstheBMAC yeah its weird, boomboxes only has sbc and the partybox sbc and aac at least according to my phone!
I appreciate you bringing this to my attention! Luckily my stance in the video still stands - it doesn't really "matter" when you keep sound quality relative, arguably more-so on a party speaker like this one. I hope JBL is clearer in the future about which devices support which codecs!
Definitely have AAC. My phone mi 10 t pro connects via Bluetooth with this codec.
although it’s perfect for any other reason, the lights just don’t look as cool as the 110 and 710 so i’m still deciding which one i want
jbl partybox 320
The 310 was on sale for 399, same as the Turtlebox. I got the 310. I bought the soundboks 4. Very pricy. That's ok, I have 2 of the best speakers around. But the 310 is worth it.
What about taking to the beach? Sand, dirt, rain, etc. Are you able to hose it off?
I covered the IP rating in this video - it has an IPX4 rating so there isn’t any dust protection and I would NOT advise hosing it off.
I'm thinking of jbl 310, but does the sound decrease when used outdoors with battery? I don't know which one with battery I will need for outdoor use, I'm thinking Sony JBL.
I don't think I've noticed any decrease in audio quality when on battery versus when plugged in.
When running on battery power you can get 140w out of it whereas when it is plugged in you can get 240w. It is still super loud though and will be more than enough for casual get togethers. If the emphasis will be on the music I'd recommend two of these plugged in and in stereo mode :)
if I am using just the power cord, can I disconnect the battery from the box?
No. The battery is built-in.
I like the speaker but the other one I have is not JBL but I can listen to the radio station on it I don't think JBL has that feature
I bought my speaker yesterday and from 100 to 0 it took 3 hours why is that.
Any recommendations for the mic? For serious karaoke
Shure is usually my go-to brand for that.
@@itstheBMAC yeah, they’re a little pricey
What about the latency? I remember using one of these jbls (probably different model) and the delay was too big to be able to dj.
Hardwired you shouldn’t have an issue, but via Bluetooth you will have a delay depending on your connected device.
Thanks!
We tried both PC and MAC configurations and bluetooth connections have too much latency to DJ. You need to connect it via cable.
@@connaisseurm2710 as long as its amp itself doesnt have some delay I'm good with a hardwired connection
Can you use a cheap generic plug in mic with one of these for Karaoke, or do you need the JBL mics?
I have rented one for New Years Eve but it doesn't come with a mic, would be good to use a cheap Amazon mic if possible
I used a cheap wired microphone myself and it worked with no problem!
The JBL brand does not assemble itself, in principle, everything about it is purchased separately and assembled at their factory, amplifiers from one place from the company, speakers from another place and the company are not even written, any microphone will do
we use it for family karaoke and it's great. We have to sing very close to the mic. IS that because the mic is cheap?
That's awesome! If you have to sing very close to the microphone it could be that your gain settings are not set high enough and/or that you have a lower quality microphone. What microphone are you using?
Stagg SDMP30 - my brother bought them. I've just looked and they are £11 which I guess means that they are not very good. What budget should I use to upgrade the singer experience (and therefore everyone else's 🤣)
I saw another review say it wasn't loud enough for parties over 20 people... would anyone care to share their experiences regarding that?
I don’t see how that could be possible. If the speaker is raised and at max volume it’s capable of over 100 decibels. That is LOUD.
I used this on nye, in a large room approx. 12m x 7m. We had it at about 75% volume and it was more than enough. 15 people cheering and screaming, music was more than loud enough and I normally use PA speakers in that situation. In an outdoor setting it's also loud enough from my experience. Want more volume, by a second one or go to a sounbok (they are double the price) however they are not weather resistant and will damage from air moisture alone if left outside over night.
That's where this JBL fits a great slot in terms of volume, portability, weather resistance and battery life.
Hope that helps
Is the 110 and 310 a big difference with bass and sound
If you like to hear your music loud and feel the Bass, go with the 310. If need it to be portable go with the 110
Can you use it while charging?
Yes!
@@itstheBMAC thanks so much!
Can you listen to music while charging the unit?
Yes!
Does it have port holes for stands?
There seem to be ways to attach these to speaker stands - but you have to make sure the diameters match up.

Any suggestions??
The 710 is wired. If you want more power, more loudness, but without a battery built-in, the 710 is definitely worth checking out!
@@itstheBMAC
I was thinking about keeping it permanently at my tattoo studio.
@@Lovepreet_Singh93 unless you intend for the tattoo studio to become a club party, the pb710 is overkill for such a scenario. Heck, even the 310 is overkill. I have one myself and it can get really loud but i use it for personal reasons and not for partying, therefore its full capabilities are a bit "wasted".
@@jeanpierregalea9048
Yeah, I’ve canceled my plans to buy pb710.
Now I think i’ll buy jbl encore instead.
a second and third iphone will not stay paired to it, am I missing something?
There is no multipoint connection. The speaker can only connect to one iPhone at any given time.
I ordered another one yesterday.
Unfortunately, JBL purposely makes pairing newer and older speakers impossible.
So if you think you're going to pair the 320 with a 310, think again.
Buy this instead of a sound system for my car it’s amazing but 1/3 of the price best idea I have had 🎉
Can it also be ised as a pa system without music
Sure can!
What’s happens when the battery stops holding charge?
You plug it in.
What if the battery busted? Can still working?
It should work when plugged in even with a defective battery but I cannot confirm this.
Anyone use in a vehicle? Like a classic vehicle with a stock system you dont want to update?
the 310 is the best partybox for this price!!
It's pretty amazing!

Yes. You can turn them off.

Is there latency on the inputs ?
Yes, as with most Bluetooth speakers. From Rtings:
Bluetooth iOS Latency - 110 ms
Bluetooth Android Latency - 165 ms
Bluetooth Range - 334.6 ft (102.0 m)
@@itstheBMAC not via Bluetooth. Via the wired inputs. You have 1/4 , and you have aux input. Any latency on these?
Can anyone access the speaker since it is Bluetooth? I know that with the older speakers, anyone could access them. My buddy said his neighbor used to access his Bluetooth speaker and play music all the time. He had to unplug it. I think I will get a Wifi speaker instead due to security.
The speaker will have to be placed in Pairing Mode before new connections are made. There are therefore no security risks.
@itstheBMAC Ok. But can't someone nearby pair with it too? If it is on Bluetooth mode, anyone can see it and access right?
