great video, but you forgot the most important part. THE CARTIER BOOK Which gives you the information of the serial #, date of purchase, and location of purchase. That way you can see if it was purchase from a authentic Boutique that's what Cartier calls them. When purchased from authentic Boutique your book which is called the certificate of authenticity the name of the store where it is originally purchased from will be stamped not written WITHOUT THIS I WOULD NOT BUY!!!!!!

I love the vintage Retro frames the gentleman has….. I love the new infinity frames..from Cartier. People seem to believe that it doesn’t matter whether something is fake or real.. Ladies and gentlemen it matters… especially when it comes to the quality of a product.. We may spend a little more but it is worth it.. Also, the “C” in the Cartier script should have a flourishment at the top of the “C”. If not, that is a dead giveaway it’s a fugazi. On the ear covers on the temple/arms, the “Cartier” metal plate should be inserted smoothly and securely.

your last "tip" about the serial number is incorrect at least on the new ones. if you go to an authorized dealer that sells cartier and look at a pair of buffs the serial number will be in example 6470649 box 18 (not sure how to put a box symbol) also almost all fake cartiers that I've seen literally have the same serial number and they start with the letter T. example T89083929 (made up number) but that's what it will look like. but anyway I have a real pair of cartiers bought from Edward Beiner here where I live in Florida and the serial numbers on the inside of the nose bridge and it has the 7 digit number and a box and then the 18... I have two pair btw. one retail for $2500 and the other $1100

Even when you call the number from the Cartier site they will tell you that the serial numbers are not upon there authorize factor. You just have to make sure you have 7 numbers and depending on where they are at on the glasses
