Sandi Miller is known in the Elvis community for her thousands of candid photos she took of Elvis over the years, including at his home at 1174 Hillcrest Drive in California, and the picture of Elvis and Priscilla during their honeymoon at the Honeymoon House. If you don’t know Sandi by name, we are sure you know her pictures! Her candid photos of Elvis have become famous.
Sandi was friends with Elvis and his entourage the Memphis Mafia, and she spent time at Elvis’ homes in California, Vegas, and even Graceland. Sandi dated Charlie Hodge.

Nice of sandi to remain unpublished but in a way that fact merely makes fodder for unscrupulous people to use her pics that have circulated for years and attach their own trashy stories of Elvis and young girls ..if for nothing else she needs to publish her stories to mitigate all the trash talk people attach to Elvis . If she won’t publish her accounts people will make up stuff about those photos. It’s very sad actually.

WOW.WOW.WOW. I am so proud of being a gate girl with you all! She said it all! One of the highlights was hanging out with friends who love a Elvis. We are literally doing that when we are there now!!! It doesn’t matter if he’s not there , the camaraderie between us all is priceless ❤ I’m literally hanging on every word she says. When she says he put his chin on my shoulder… to see what I’m making in the kitchen 😳 I need more of Sandi , a lot more. She is one the best resources we have. Sandi eloquently tells us exactly who and what our boy is. The surprise here is how much more compassionate he really was than we thought ♥️

I think the empathy he showed was because he remembered how he had been treated back in school. As an outsider. I love her stories, they seem so genuine and she is not sensationalizing everything like some others have done.

I enjoyed this interview with Sandi immensely. It does my heart good to see the different generations of Elvis fans coming together. You girls must get Tish Henley on your podcast. She was Elvis' personal nurse and lived on the grounds of Graceland for 5 years before Elvis died. I just heard a fascinating interview with her. She is warm, lovely, and has wonderful personal stories of Elvis. Thank you for this podcast.

I honestly cannot imagine how magical it be to talk to someone that was in close presence of Elvis. I'd be asking about one billion and a half questions but what a special video this was. I loved it, Elvis is so unbelievably handsome and I could only relate when she said it was hard not to stare cuz I've thought this so many times that I'd do the same thing if I had the chance 😂

I've heard some of Sandi's stories before, but the one of him where he shows the girl around his Palm Springs home because some of the guys were being rude warms my heart. Had never heard that one before. Wow, what a sweetheart. Everyone should be like that. I hope she felt like a million bucks afterwards. Loved the story of Sandi and Charlie reading fan letters after Elvis died. I thought you ladies did a good job of inserting pictures while the stories were being told. This is the first video I've seen of yours and really enjoyed it. I plan on watching Sandi, part 2 next! Keep up the good work.

A great interview! Loved hearing Sandi’s stories and looking forward to part 2. I could listen to Elvis stories all day. And Sandi’s are so personal like day to day stuff. Ohmygosh to have Elvis put his chin on my shoulder and watch me make a sandwich 😅 and to be invited onto his bus and talk for several hours ❤ What a good man, how he wants to get to know and be friends with his fans. Sandi Miller is always one of the best interviews regarding Elvis Presley. So open, patient and happy to chat about her friend. Only holding back to preserve his memory from the usual fiends. But hats off to you ladies. I have seen other interviews with Sandi where the constant interruptions when she is in mid flow of a great story can drive a sane person nuts. Shhhh! Let HER tell the story! SHE was there! You guys let her finish her story, finish her sentences and the follow up questions were spot on. Phrased in such a way to allow her to recall the full story un-rushed and uninterrupted. A real fan's interview. Applause. 👏

I have just discovered this channel and am really enjoying looking at the videos❤. Great hearing from people who actually met and knew Elvis in his private life. I saw him in concert in 1976, flew from Australia to San Francisco when a penpal invited us over there. Front row seats, and all the descriptions you hear about his charisma and aura are true. I never tire of telling people about seeing him, not many people in Australia now who saw him in person😊. I have a video on my channel talking about the show and the photos I took.

Everyone should listen to this. This is truth, not a bunch of lies that are being told about him. He was such an amazing person, I never was able to meet him. But I was able to see him in Vegas and Tahoe in the early 70s. How I wish I could have met him.....❤Thank all of you for sharing. I live in Northern California my sister lives in Southern California near LA. It would be wonderful to meet you! I don't want to go to Graceland for the reason you shared. I've been trying to go through everything I can to know the real Elvis, I'm a Christian and understand Elvis's spiritual journey. I'm still listening to your interview, and I can see Charlie's friendship with Elvis. I don't know why anyone could say anything bad about Charlie, very sad.

Charlie being a kindred spirit is so true. I read Charlie’s book and the tine he spent with Elvis after Gladys died, it’s my opinion Charlie kept Elvis from losing his cool.

Wow - she is about the third or fourth person who has said he was going to take some time off. There is a documentary somewhere that J.D. Sumner said the same thing and that he was going to start singing gospel. Who knows if that's true, but Sandi, J.D. and Larry all said the same thing about him saying he was going to get healthy and take time off.

I ❤ this interview . Was she there when a fan attacked Pricilla ? I saw a documentary where Elvis had to get on the middle of a cat fight between a gate girl and Pricilla and Elvis ripped his pants and was bleeding . Someone now has the jeans and was trying to dna test the stain .

It’s great sandi never attempted to make money off of him but my god she needs to write a book of her long friendship w elvis …if for nothing else but to counteract all the horrible stories which depicts him as a predator of young girls. We need a true depiction because otherwise only fans get to hear sandi’s story while so many others only hear the negative trash talk. It’s really important for wider audience to hear her stories. I’ve seen some of her pics circulating for years but without the real stories and truth of the stories the photos with Elvis and the young girls gives fodder for people to make up stories which is sad. We need the stories and photos in one place so people can’t fake up stories to trash his memory.

Great interview and stories from Sandi. I actually own her photo book - Behind the Image. Definitely fun to flip through. But I never knew Sandi was originally from MN. Interesting as that's also my home state. I'm in L.A. now - as an interesting bit of trivia I live just a few blocks away from the park where Elvis filmed the football scene in "Change of Habit." Anyway, keep up the good work. 👍

I agree with some comments..sandi really needs to either write book or go on shows to spread her stories. There’s too much trash being spewed now re Elvis and it’s so sad. The real stories like sandi’s are not heard except on fan pages. I’ve seen some pics of hers but need to connect the stories with the photos so others with malicious intents can’t make up trashy stories to her pics. It’s admirable that she’s saying she’ll never write a book but in reality this spews people to make up horrible stories. Now there’s a sensationalist show coming soon on 60 minutes Australia. It’s again about stories of Elvis being a predatory type with young girls. So wish sandi would come out more in media through a book or interviews to counteract all these horrible accusations. I have a Elvis story for you girls, I saw a interview by Billy Smith that said when Elvis got out of the Army they would have parties at Graceland and one time there about 100 to 150 girls at the gates and Elvis came out and said let them all inside the house , when the girls came inside Billy was counting how many girls were inside and he said there were 156 girls 😂

I would love her to go to Household of Faith church in Benton Arkansas thats Elvis's church where he preaching the gospel of Jesus christ. He's name now is Bob Joyce. She can look him up on CZcams its him iam not kidding about this. His own paino player Glenn Hardin was there playing music with him. If she goes thete i know he would recognize her. Many of his fans go there to see him. Everything is the same mannerism, scars and his voice of course. This not a joke look him up!! I am a great fan since i was 6 yrs old and iam now 60 yrs old but i know iam going to see him this coming year. All you girls should go to see him before he really passes away. I dont know that Priscilla said at his birthday party at Graceland she said lets keep this going He's alive and well. But i got the truth from someone who knows the truth!!
