If you have Kia and you need to replace the transmission filter on Kia or you want to know where the transmission filter is located on your Kia transmission in this video we will explain do that. We demonstrated how to replace transmission filter on A6MF1 transmission but it may work on other transmissions such as A6MF1 A6LF1 A6LF2. This Bulgarian mechanic is a top notch. Well explained video. I love the Bulgarian flag. My car is 2004 Kia Sorento LX. Transmission made in Japan. Engine made in South Korea. I lost one engine due to driving belt snap. Used engine holds strong for now.

Hi, my transmission is slipping when the fluid gets hot on a hot days. It is fine when I just start the car, only when Its been use after some time when the oil gets hot. Is it the transmission cooler that i need to replace? I did replaced the fluid twice already. Any help please
I need somebody to confirm for me. I have a 2019 Kia Sportage LX a 2.4 L engine is my car going to have the transmission filter for this guy says it is or is it gonna be if I takeoff the oil pan? It’ll be there. I need somebody to please confirm this for me. It’s driving me crazy.
Is there a reason why the “flush” method is not used? Where the cooler “in and out” lines are intercepted and a pressure vessel is used to reverse flush the fluid, reverse flushing the filter as well (?). Is this method no longer applicable with modern designs?

That called marketing design transmission.you have to drive aboute 5 years and change a car to the new one so it won't be necessary to change filter

Modern vehicles are designed to be disposable not fixed.

Toyota does this, subaru does this, chevy does this, chrysler, ford does this, etc. The only modern vehicles with accessable trans filters are most trucks and suvs, all volkswagon group vehicles, bmw, and thats about it

Do you know if older Kias have this design as well? I've my 2008 with deep stick and maybe it's easier to change.
Is it necessary to change the filter?
if you religiously change your transmission fluid and get it flushed, it shouldn't be necessary for the life of the car. personally I go 25,000 miles between trans fluid changes.

Who designed this unmaintanable transmission? You are telling me that the trans has to be disassembled to change the filter!?
Nah fr..... its doable if you have a garage/house but need to have hands on auto experience and possibly a secound person to help mate the trans and motor back together
