    I bought this jig a couple months ago and as a 1st time pocket hole maker/user ever, I already feel like a pro. This is one of those "best things you ever bought" items. Good video. . . .

    This is a cleverly designed jig. If I had to dig deep and list one gripe about this jig, it can be irritating to remove and replace the allen key from its holder. Otherwise it’s an excellent jig. Thanks for the demo.

    I just picked up one of these and agree they are fantastic. I have used the other brands too but the innovation and ease of use of the Autojig puts it ahead of the pack. Thanks for the video. Subbed. Cheers 👍

    Great review Mike. I would love to see a side by side comparison of Armor vs Kreg vs Massca. I believe you have the Kreg so a Kreg vs Armor would be doable maybe. I really appreciate your content and glad to see your channel has almost 900 subs. You will be over 1000 soon and then over 10k before you know it. Keep creating and inspiring. Now, go make some sawdust.

    Trust when I say it holds up. Been working with it for two months now and with their screws. Best part to me is that auto collar adjust for scrap woods. To beats buying extra 20 pocket hole drill bits for different drills

    Id definitely go with Armor but i like the Massca alot... im considering buying rhe quick release from armor and using it with a Massca M2... the only reason i like the M2 over the Armor is the all aluminum body. Great Review Mike

    I have this jig and it is awesome. But about 50 holes in and I am getting tear out. I am using Ryobi drills with their bit. The first 20 holes were super clean but then the fraying/tear out started happening on the right side of the holes. Any ideas what could be causing that?

    • @Woodcraft716
      @Woodcraft716  Před 2 lety

      I've noticed some taer out as well. Especially on the side where the opening is bigger. Ie. For close together holes. I'm not sure what causes that. I have the 720 and the mascca M2 and they do it too. I'm thinking it may be the pine I've been using. I get much less with hardwoods. Sorry I couldn't help you out. Thanks for the comment. 👍

    Good video one of the people I subscribe to woodworking garage Richard is his name did one I left a comment and suggestion about color coding the collar of the bits to match the screws, he reached out to them and they said it never occurred to them but may use my idea in the future, for a temporary fix just put some nail polish to match the screw color then you don't have to adjust for thickness.
