What about Social Security recipients? The most vulnerable population of the coronavirus? Why are they not mentioned and why weren't they served first. That is very sad.

I’m on SS and I feel blessed that at least I know I have money coming into my house. When I do get the stimulus check it will be a great Benefit and help me out don’t get me wrong. But I do live within my means and this will give me a great boost. I’m so glad that people are getting checks... I know people that have lost their jobs and are still waiting on unemployment to kick in. I feel sorry that they have no income and are struggling with all of this. Like I said I’m blessed at least I have an income. So please if you are on SS SSI, SSDI, or any type of Benifits that you get everything month. Feel fortunate that you at least have an income. We all need to be humble right now.

People who have lost their jobs should be thankful they CAN work. There are lots of new opportunities out there now because of the pandemic such as food delivery jobs. And until they land another job, they will be receiving an additional $600/week through unemployment (as much or more than many on Social Security get in one month), plus their stimulus check. Many on SSI and Disability "live within their means" and that means going without food and/or things such as cleaning supplies for 2 weeks of the month, sometimes it means not paying one utility bill. That's not acceptable hardship for any human being. If you're doing OK and don't need it that badly that's great, but don't presume to speak for (and shame) others who may be alot less fortunate than you every single month. You really have no idea what other's situations are so please don't add insult to injury. Just speak for yourself.
IAMGiftbearer You sound very bitter. I feel sorry that you have to go through this as I do everyone. I said I live within my means. I know most don’t and or can’t because of different situations. I’m not trying to shame anyone.
And not all the new jobs are available everywhere. Where I live we don’t have food delivery or any of that. So the people around me don’t have the opportunity to just go get another job.

I'm thankful to the heavenly Father. For every little thing we get I barely cover my bill with my check it really hard I only around 800.00 or just a tad bit over but by the time get gro.'s and pay bills then broke for the rest of the month it's been like that ever since I lost my husband from lung cancer, at the same time I had breast cancer so I know all about living in hard times very much so but I ask God to keep us safe @put his hands on us and heal us , watch over us , @ keep us safe in Jesus's name we pray for peace and to get our lives back it's almost as if we were puppets on a string God Bless everybody don't forget to turn all you worries over to God and stay strong he will take care of us. Okay I've been on my sunshine my whole freaking life excuse about my language but I'm kind of aggravated with the state right now they cut my food stamps once more and I did all the jumps and hoops again but still I cannot feed my daughter so my little chick I get every month which is only 781 to live on which I have to pay rent and I have to give food for my daughter who is 16 years old and still I don't eatbut yet I'm still waiting for the supposable big check we're supposed to get so where's it at and why is my food stamps taken away again oh wait the government needs my food

2 days later it said I was scheduled to be mailed a paper check on 4/24....
Well whatta ya know.... My $1,200 check actually showed up yesterday 4/25!!!
