Something to add on would be swivel sockets and some long swivel sockets.

I would have put some blue lock tight on the skid plate bolts just for some peace of mind

I wonder if that chunk of metal you use as an anvil might have been a weight for a tractor?
I had not considered that before. I do believe that is the best guess that I’ve heard in ten years though! Would make sense of the holes that go through it, as tractor weights are often bolted together with their thru holes.
How often do you use your S.A.E stuff at the Powersports shop? Going into the same job soon just wondering about that. Thanks
Not terribly often - I’ve only worked on a couple Harleys. We also sell and service Bad Boy mowers and some of the hardware on them is SAE.
