While coming under budget use that money to get a solar panel set up and deep well so you have near unlimited energy and water to help you in the future
Deepwell is not adviseable in the philippines!
🇵🇭❤️Nice! Good Luck!🤟👍
Thank you so much my friend 😊
FOOD business is feasible in Ormoc city rather a gym....but if your gym venture had a snack bar and merchandise area for things related to health it would be nice, and build memberships options for clients and walk-ins incentives for diversity...
Wow nice
Thank you my friend 😊
🌹😊 I hope you are doing well. 🤙 Thank you for sharing your video. Good luck 🍀 on your future plan. Take care and stay healthy. 💕🏝💐☮️♥️
Thank you my friend. We are ok. Hope you are well and everything is good. God bless you always 😊🙏
Best wishes to your business plans. I'm an employee most of my career. I wish I'm good at businesses. The only close to a business I did was buying and selling real estate properties here in the US. You have lots of possibilities there in the Philippines. Food and tourists business seem big there. My successful relatives are in the food business. But it is not for everybody. I guess you study it very well before starting something. Anyway we cross our fingers for success to you, Jane, and Isabella.
Thank you so much my friend. God bless you 😊
Good luck in your new venture. Maybe you should open one of them Ice Cream shops in the mall, low start up cost in case it does not work out, risks are kept to the minimum. Best biz are ones folks need vs. want, if times get hard they will abandon most wants but never the needs. So I was surprised that owning vending machines were on top of the list of businesses to have in P.I as is in the USA so I guess it works anywhere as long as you provide good products to sell. Happy selling mate!!
Thank you my friend. Vending machines and arcades are very popular here with students and big kids like me 🤣 businesses in the Philippines have the ability to succeed but it needs a lot of planning 😊
Nice idea for a business...Good luck!👍🇵🇭🇧🇭
Right...live simply...no debts, no stress!
That’s the plan my friend. God bless you 😊
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle yes! A good idea to be placed on a plan..👍
I think good business is resorts people like beach or swimming pool a place to sleep or over night, that's what I want it if I forgood in Philippines
They are good business ideas my friend and something we will be looking at also this week 😊
Opening a gym in that place is a good idea 👍🏻 there's a bpo/call center there so I think you won't have a problem with getting patrons.
You are right my friend. We are still in the research and planning stage but hope to move forward this year soon. God bless you 😊
Success with your future business! Make sure to run everything by a lawyer first to avoid unpleasant surprises!
Thank you my friend. We will make sure everything is checked and planned. You can’t rush things like this. God bless you always Paul 😊
Mang inasal, red ribbon, Chowking and Dunkin donuts are own by Jollibee food corporation...
Just a guess , gym , health food snack bar with smoothies, apparel , and a supplement kiosk
You might be on the right lines my friend 😊
Go for a coffee and milktea shop.
Yes of course nice people will wish you well...i am telling you straight.
People generally are very honest and good natured 😊
Great vid
Thank you my friend 😊
Thank you my friend 😊
I wonder what is the name of the insect? Good luck in the new adventure.
It’s a glow worm. Type of beetle 😊
One thing I learned of starting business especially if capital is not overflowing is renting expensive space. One financial guru said, think a business as beginner, wherein capital is not constrained, as in like expensive rental. If you have enough resources to buy apartment in commercial area, or univerty, that would be good investment, rent it out like dorm , in manila you could check out the modern dorm, how it look like. You won't be pressured for forever renting, coz you own the apartment, and you are the one renting out.
That’s a great idea my friend and one of our original ideas. Still might be something we will pursue 😊
Nice if you could purchase a land and make an arboretum of flowering philippine native trees with McDonalds franchise in the middle making it the most beautiful and colorful branch.
Cool idea! 😊
Maayong gabie bai adam
Maayong buntag my good friend 😊
Good luck and use a trusted lawyer handling all contracts
Thank you my friend 😊
What about building and then self managing an Air BnB or rental aimed at foreigners moving to the Phillipines, but not high end, just good quality. Less work.
That is a good idea my friend and we are looking at building something possibly 😊
Nice couple. Good luck
Thank you 😊
Good idea, don’t get mentally (or physically for that matter) stagnant..best of luck in your ventures 🙏🏻🕊🇵🇭
Thank you my friend. Always good to have dreams and plans in life to keep pushing and life moving 😊
When Richard Branson was asked, how to become a millionaire In the airline Industry, he replied... Start out as a Billionaire!
It takes money to start any business my friend 😊
The insect is a Glow Worm
Thank you so much my friend. I’d never seen anything like it before. It’s a glow worm which is a type of beetle 😊
Where in chinatown what floor so we can visit with friends in ormoc? What do u sell there?
Coffee is very addicting. Many people loves coffee in hot and cold weather countries. Coffee shops all over the world are in demand especially for local or foreign tourists.
They are always popular my friend and it’s a possibility 😊
If you can build buildings it might be good to sell your house make money and build another building. I know of a Filipino-American you tuber in Vigan Ilocos Sur who sold their house so they can pay off their bank loans and build another house with no more loans. I think that is the best business plan in the Philippines, building house for sale specially to expats coming to retire in the Philippines or for rent specially close to the beaches. Filipinos are starting to enjoy going out to beaches with families instead of going to big cities since a lot of Filipino families are starting to own family cars which were rare in the 80's to 90's.
It’s not that good an idea if you know the whole truth to it my friend. Lots of tax to pay when you sell, building costs have dramatically increased and you can’t cut corners when building a house. It once worked but never in a recession or with high inflation. We have no debt, built with no debt and never will have debt 😊
Adam and Jane, Good Luck with your future business venture. May I suggest a second hand / junk store. In Badian, Cebu where my vacation house is located, I know a family who does very well selling everything from pots and pans to used refrigerators. I come to realize, what westerners see as junk, is still gold in the Philippines. Through reuse, it's good for the environment, and you can start quite small and scale the business at your own pace, with less financial risk. When taking on an expensive lease in a shopping mall, you need to hit the ground running to generate enough cash to cover all your operating costs and make a profit. Plus, from what I have observed, the BIG winner financially at the mall is the mall owner, not the tenants. Granted, a second hand item store is not very exciting, but it is in high demand in a poor country like the Philippines, and it can be very profitable. That said, any business that targets foreign tourists where you can charge western prices, is also a winner as well. Again, Good Luck !
Thank you my friend. It’s a great suggestion. Lots of viable options here and we are considering 😊
Hi! Enjoy your videos! Did you take the space at Chinatown? I was just walking around there yesterday, and saw some new businesses. Would like to drop in and say hi. My asawa, daughter, and I have been living in Ormoc for two years now. My wife is from Brgy. R.M. Tan,
but we have a little house up the road from Robinsons. See you around!
Hi my friend. We put it on hold at the moment but might still pursue it. That would be great to say hi one day. It’s always nice to meet people and make new friends. Take care and keep in touch guys 😊
💜💚💙
God bless you my friend 😊
Business is a gamble. Better study it deeper. 👌
100% my friend. It’s something that we will take care with and make sure all planning is complete 😊
Mam pag wala gym dyan sa chinatown maganda yan
There isn’t any there and only 1 can be there 😊
Nag bago ugali ni Isabella palagi Na sya nakangiti nd gaya noon bagong dating palang ,tahimik at subrang mahiyain ,ngaun pinay Na pinay Na sya😁
She is 🤣 she has adapted and has many friends 😊
Your place seems familiar, do you guys live somewhere in Dolores or Milagro? nice vlog by the way
Yes my friend 😊
Try to plant 🪴 onions 🧅 turn Leyte in to onion 🧅 capital 🤣🤣😂.
We did plant lots my friend. Never worry, we will supply Leyte soon 🤣 god bless you 😊
ADAM can you STOP interrupting Isabella while she's on the internet?😂😂.
I wish you luck with whatever business venture you decide to persue and look forward to heating more about it and looking at sites for building and business opportunities.
Thank you my friend. Isabella does say we are annoying at times 🤣 it’s a teenager thing.
We will do lots of research and complete planning my friend 😊
Body massage is one of the best business…
That’s something we would look to incorporate. A sports massage 😊
I suggest you invest on apartment for rent or AirBnb.. Goodluck to your upcoming business , godbless .. 💝
Yes, thank you and god bless you 😊
Hi Adam,, are you going to Open a COFFEE ☕️ SHOP business? In your place Ormoc city? When,, this year,,,,
Possibly! We are looking into everything my friend 😊
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle be Sure to make a RESEARCH first about the Advantage & Dis Advantage of the type of business your going to take,, So your Capital Money 💵 will NOT be Wasted and be Bankcrupt !! Just a friendly Advise …
master siomai is the best business in the mall
Why is that my friend? 😊
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle
Master siomai franchise
Package..
80k
this is very popular anywhere in manila and any province of luzon visayas and mindanao its a foodcart in the mall its just a siomai and drink’s is gulaman just a small foodcart stole in the mall but very indemand for the pilipinos you can stole anywhere you want school market and malls
@@bulldogs475 how much do the malls charge for rent and restrictions where you can operate without business licence and premises?
👌👌👌🤙🤙🤙👍👍🙌
Have a great day my friend 😊
Why don't you guys try franchising..like 7/11 or like jollibee mang inasal.
There are lots already in Ormoc my friend. What we have planned would be something a bit different to what is already here 😊
Hi Mate, also from the UK. How do you afford to stay in the Philippines, I saw on a previous video you sold your house, are you living off that money and savings or did you invest in something for monthly passive income? Please go into detail
Lots of planning years before we moved my friend. Budgeting is key. We will talk a bit about what we did in upcoming vlogs 😊
hard to have a gym without toilets n showers and whatever business you start , if it makes money someone will open a gym right next door , if they both still make money a third gym will open ,till nobody makes money .you see this with everything in the Philippines , fruit stands 20 in a line, beauty salons 3 or 4 in same block, cell phone repair stall after stall , even if you have a unique ingenious idea it will immediately be copied nation wide like bubble tea
Thank you my friend. The facility already has that in place. It’s a very modern building and due to this there can be no other business the same within the facility. No other place close has any parking. It’s a great location but we still have lots of planning to do 😊
Have guests
Into a private house with a teenage daughter? Not a good idea my friend!
👍😃💚❤️🧡🇵🇭
God bless you my friend 😊
That was a weird insect
It was very creepy looking my friend 😊
some people want to live in UK 🇬🇧, but you choose to stay in Philippines. you don't have plan to return in UK?
No my friend. We moved here from the UK. We built our forever home here. Why would we go back? 😊
So many usa couples looking to retire..
There are and British couples like us too 😊
Good luck with the future business venture. Isabella became very Filipina when she is permanently attached to her phone.
Incidentally Adam did you realise that you were almost quoting the Rolling Stones @ 7:09 "you can't always get what you want, you get what you need”
Thank you my friend. I must have heard the quote before but I think it was from Bret Hitman Hart who in turn heard it from the Rolling Stones 😊
If you want to make money...cash in on tourists..bike hire..cars... best is accomadation... give tours... you have a house... 100% money making ..ok 80%
You are joking right? 😊
seriously, someone should start a reddit thread or something about that centipede/walking stick. it might be a new species. any entomologists here?
It’s a glow worm apparently my friend. I’d never seen one before as they are nocturnal. It’s incredible looking 😊
run a buisness from laptop and work from home.why go to all the expensive of fitting out a gym and and evrything else for it just to fail ,because they do in phils.
Thank you for your advice my friend. Research, planning and being realistic are all key to making a business work. We have a lot of planning to do 😊
My advice is dont do it.... its not what you want to hear....dont get caught up in a mall and have a another floor area space copy you..
The mall will only allow 1 of each type of business my friend. It’s written into the contracts 😊
What is the nationality of the husband
We are a British-Filipino family 😊
Money makers...people thinking of moving to the philippines ? Need to come and try...stay to see if they like it...need good english speakers and who can speak philippines.. and they wabt to learn things on thire visit.... for you 2 no renting shops..spaces..no buying hiring gym crap
Seriously? 🤣 thanks for telling us what we can and can’t do. I’m glad there are so many great people here in the Philippines and few like you 😊
a gym business in ormoc is a terrible idea. start small like a food stall/kiosk franchise in that location just to get your toes wet. don't jump in and lease a large commercial space.
A gym in Ormoc is a great idea my friend as there are gyms here but not in all locations and not all have modern facilities. Ormoc is the wealthiest city in the Eastern Visayas and it is constantly improving and modernising. We didn’t go forward with the gym at the moment but it’s a great idea still for Ormoc.
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle my point being you need a lot of starting capital for a modern gym. and if you plan on loaning it that's even worse. plus do either of you have experience in running a business? this why i said maybe start small.
@@wanderingandroid we wouldn’t ever borrow money my friend. We are debt free and will always be. We have a lot of experience and wouldn’t be in the position we are in if we didn’t.
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle so if both of you have experience in running successful businesses before. then running a gym should be a cakewalk.
@@wanderingandroid exactly why it’s something we are considering my friend. We aren’t 100% sure what or where yet is the thing. A gym is a possibility.
Isabella is getting younger, you don't have a plan to give her a sister or brother?😂😂😂
She isn’t getting younger 😊
You are mad to open a business now, there is going to be a recession in 2023
A recession has already started but certain businesses thrive during times like these. It all depends if you have capital to see it through 😊
@@AdamandJanesLifestyle Good luck to you
I see you 2 in 5 years in debts...Unless you have a uk nest egg (bad move) to use to get you out of problems.. Tom what about your uk state pension..are you paying national insurance ..your a long way off until 67 and could be 68 years of age..
Who is Tom? 😊
Jane you need to stop pushing tom around and Tom you need to man up and say No... Stop going along with these ideas... they are bad business' for the philippines..there a No No !
Who is Tom? 🤣
