I was sad to hear about the loss of your friend. Life is so so short and was one of the main reasons I moved to the Philippines. My wife was from Mindanao and I was only 49 when we decided back in 2019. It was the best decision of my life and never looked back. Being British also, I've enjoyed watching your videos. Your vlog title caught my attention. If it is possible to retire early, you did the right thing. Why working long hours in 🇬🇧 just to pay the bills? Some are unable to make ends meet. Besides it is so good to be your own boss. So far everything is going great with your family.
That was exactly what we asked ourselves my friend. We enjoyed life in the UK but knew we wouldn’t be truly living until we moved here and had the freedom to do what we wanted day by day 😊

Just my 2 cents. I wouldn’t waste my time on a business in the Philippines. Is it worth the headache? You are retired. If your business is successful there is a chance a local will copy your business and undercut you.
You can volunteer your time in the community if you want your days to go by.
