The flash thinks faster, both can move fast enough to screw with time but the Flash has the speedforce in some iterations and can process faster movement, Superman generally has to really build to it at the point of messing with time.
Both have faster reaction times to be able to handle or use their speed without biffing it.

I’ve been waiting for these for a long time. I grew up on the 70’s versions of batman and robin, Wonder Woman, and the flash. I thought CW Was gonna do it but it never happened. All these made into modern movies and made into a series of connected movies like the mcu phases. Aquaman, flash, Batman, justice league. Hope they keep it up.

Smallville actually did it right with young Clark and young Bart. At their farewell Bart basically shows Clark that he's WAY faster and has been the whole time. Pretty awesome oldschool wholesome moment lol.
If you take that kind of reasoning and pair it with knowing Barry is basically just as fast, that he can alter timelines, and has a lot of experience with the speed force.. Barry could basically scour the galaxy for kryptonite til he finds it.. utilize it as a weapon against Superman.. and then kill him with it before Superman could even formulate a plan of defense.
After watching the snyder cut, we now know that Barry can run circles around Clark

So far from what we have seen in this universe, Barry is only slightly faster than Superman. That may drastically change when we see ZSJL/Zack Snyder's Justice League.

I would have legitimately enjoyed this being shown in a prologue to 'Justice League' given that Barry claimed later in the film to have considered Superman a personal hero. A scene like this would have all but instantly established that A) they've met before and B) Barry was still uncomfortable on some level considering that Superman saw him as an equal.
We could have cut from this race right to Superman's memorial, followed by the cellphone footage of him doing good and such.
Then, we'd get a bit more emphasis on their interaction during Superman's resurrection. Barry just seems spooked. He doesn't look like a personal hero has turned his gaze on him with legitimate killing intent in his eyes.
I just don't like Ezra' acting here. And Superman's face in the end is horrible.

There is multiple cannon scenarios, but my favorite one, is after they have tied a bunch of times in the past, and once flash gets serious for some reason they are running together while superman tries to persuade Flash to stop saying they have always tied, to what Flash replies "those where for charity clark..." And runs off at a speed Superman cant catch.
Yeah. Full canon wise, flash is way faster than Superman under the right conditions.(he had a surface to run on)
The flash can change time and space with how fast he is and superman can do everything but beat the flash in a race. They are not built for the same thing I agree
@@denzeljackson7340 I have no idea what's canon or not nowadays, but I remember reading a Superman comic in my childhood, where Superman reversed time to fix something.
I think that if Superman went all out holding nothing back he'd be just as fast as the flash but the world wouldn't survive it. It'd be like the last scenes in the Superman vs the Elite.

Depends on what canon. But traditionally and in most Superman whilst extremely fast can’t keep up with the flash’s top speed.
Superman is more versatile. But the flash in terms of raw speed is faster, and when fighting on a surface, the flash can achieve more powerful kinetic blows.
If a coin hit you whilst travelling at the speed of light, it would rip a clean home through you. Imagine the blunt impact of a fist going that fast.
Flash’s big weakness though is that if you give him no space to maneuvre, then he can’t accelerate.
Also, it’s suspected that superman’s powers don’t derive from him being super strong, he’s built, but he’s not significantly strong.
His powers come from telekinesis. When he flies, he’s actually using his mind to lift himself.
That superman’s powers do depend on how “confident” he is feeling.
If you read the comics, Flash would have circled the Earth like 10 times before Superman even flew a mile.
I think superman would be at the most 15 seconds behind Flash. I mean flying around the earth so fast he made it rewind time.

So we are clear superman flys by changing the gravitational field around him. If you watch the movies and supergirl tv show you'll see when they are in a rush and take off in flight they will leave an impact in the ground. They will also tell people to step back so the field doesn't harm others. His Superspeed doesn't run off his gravity organ so when is ruuning he would be effected the same as flash.

no comment regarding camera man or one is running one is flying stuff. Just deduce from the movie, when superman first woke up and was pet cemetery-ing everyone, he can perceive flash's movement and fight with him at hyper speed but superman's movement is just over all slower. Barry was just nervous as shit, but his movement as we perceive it (we as audience was synced up with flash's speed), which is natural speed, while superman from his pov is moving at slow motion. And this is a young Barry vs a matured superman. So this should be no competition, just don't slip and knock yourself out Barry. Got $20 on you.

Except... that in said scene with Larry and Superdudes original fight. Superstud was fighting at the same time he was watching Barry The Cable guy run as fast as he could around Superguy. Superman only expended the energy and speed that he needed. For he is constantly powered by Sun. Gary is also weird, and has a horrible costume. So there's that.......
@@kevinbraden798 i assume by super dude u meant superman. no, when he punches the monument (east egg here they played original superman music) he was going for the hit but it was slow motion to us (aka flash's pov). And it's well established that superman's speed is based on force and power, while flash enters and uses the laws of a different dimension (speed dimension/force) and so flash's speed directly linked to a difference reference to our time. It has been shown numerous times in many references that he is way faster. we talking using speed of light as a unit of measurement fast (from our dimension's pov) Most speedsters operates under similar reasoning.

@@pz1497 at least while using the speedforce his mind becomes faster as well. There are several instances where Barry Allen speed reads books or flies through formula calculations. Besides, if his mind did not speed up as well how could he even handle moving at such speeds.

I didn't like how the movie was put all together , although I was squealing when Superman was brought back to life . I think they were trying to show a Flash who hasn't yet mastered his full potential . In fact , He clearly says that He had never been involved in a flight . He doesn't know the full extent of his abilities
