What Pickleball Paddles do the Top 100 Pros Use? (Updated October 2023)
I did a bunch of research to figure out which paddles are used by the top 100 pickleball pros. I also found where on the internet you can buy them for the cheapest price possible. Then I put all of that information in a Google Sheet and Tableau Dashboard so you can have free access to it all :)

If anything is wrong or has changed let me know under this comment and I’ll do my best to fix it ✌️
This list is already outdated. Travis went to engage. Dylan was just using the power air. Nunnery Luxx. Alw, Irina and koop all have the new Paddleteks.
I don’t think its true that the best players play Selkirk and Joola because they are the best paddles. We will likely never see this happen, but if all these companies paid the same for sponsorships, I bet you would see a ton of Ronbus, Six Zero, and Gearbox Pro Power users. I would say looking at 5.0 players in big tournaments or people that aren’t sponsored that are very good is a better indication of the best paddles on the market.
You don’t think the best players in the world use the best paddles in the world?
@@sheaunderwood I truly don’t! Tyson has admitted on his podcast that if he could use anything, it would be a crbnx. Ask your buddies Chris and Will if you don’t believe me. These people are playing Joola and Selkirk because they pay the most $ in sponsorship.
I dont think so bro. Tyson has stayed with Selkirk for years, he most likely would have switched by now if they didn't make good enough paddles.
@@CohenAcademy
They use a paddle made by the company that pays them the most money. Which is why so many Selkirk pros use 002s that are painted to look like Power Air. As long as the paddle is adequate, money is paramount. If the company's paddles are inadequate, and they won't improve them, they go elsewhere eventually, like Zane and Riley. Or the company develops something better for them, that is not available to the public, like ALW was using for several months before the new Paddletek came out. @@sheaunderwood
The CRBN paddles are way way better than all Selkirk and Joola. I've tried them all, it's not close-in spin or control
great video shea!
Great video! And I love the data. Good job man
To the point. Very useful ! Thank you
Such a good Video! Your the best Shea!
Thanks bro 🙏
I have an Onix Z3 but am looking to upgrade. I love the consistency with that paddle. Would you please recommend an upgrade with similar characteristics? Thank you.
That Tableau dashboard 🤩
Not my best work but it’s functional 😅
A bit misleading. Selkirk gives the B list Pros that never advice to the top in tournaments paddles for free, and is major sponsor of A list pros as well. They have good paddles, but there are many other great paddles, and some that perform better then Selkirk's. So they may say more Pro's use them, but that's more due to handing them out for free.
This was pointed out in the video.
Actually testing a good number of paddles objectively and subjectively, describing and rating them would be more impressive and useful to most players.
Do your research and get a Six Zero Double Black Diamond Paddle
This video might be worth a redo. Base it on players who are not sponsored. I haven’t heard any Pickleball reviewer say the Perseus, 002, or Power Air within their top 5 paddles let alone the “best paddles”. Lebron would wear K-Swisses if they were paying him what Nike is. Ben Johns would use Vatic if they were paying him what Joola is. Just like Riley Newman is using… Takeya.
Thanks for the input
Idk most reviewers just don’t include those due to price to value. Perseus, 002, and power air are better than most paddles on the market just not by enough to justify the price for most viewers
Power air is my favorite paddle by far
@@blockchainbaboon7617 better than most is true. But best is not correct. Most reviewers will agree that those paddles unfortunately don’t have the best quality control (Joola) small sweet spot (002, Power Air), and low quality/old technology implemented (Spray on grit, fiberglass, etc).
@@blockchainbaboon7617 I'm Not trying to be rude, but that statement is false. Many reviewers review paddles that are just as expensive as the Perseus and 002, such as the new Gearbox Pro Power Paddles, and put them on the top of their list compared to those paddles. Price is irrelevant. Statistically, there are just many other paddles with better technology: resulting in better touch, spin, power, and feel than the Joola and Selkirk brands, such as Ronbus, New Gearbox, Volair, Sixzero, and even CRBN. Might wanna take a look and do some research. I am not trying to come at you, but it may benefit you to do some paddle research and venture out of the Selkirk and Joola Paddles. The Power Air uses a spray-on grit that wears out very fast over time, resulting in a massive drop in spin, which isn't an issue for pro players because they can get new ones but is not optimal for your average player.
If you have time and even care, try doing some paddle research. It will elevate your game as well! I hope this helps you.
What about which paddles do non-sponsored pros use ? That’d be interesting to see
Do your research and get a Six Zero Double Black Diamond Paddle
In your opinion only beware
On the technical level, why were top men's and women's paddles so diverse?
Used by most Pros because Selkirk supplies the most paddles to semi and pros for free.
Pickleball is America's fastest-growing sport and we like it #Pickleball
3:10 Anna-Leigh does NOT use this paddle. She switched a while back to a raw carbon fiber paddle.
👍
Well what paddle is it?
She uses a Paddletek Paddle
I thought she uses the Scorpius
@@TheRich000007 maybe as one of her paddles during tournaments, but her main is Paddletek .
But its still relay on how good the player played, its like 30% Padel 70% Player.. :)
Should be titled 'Which Pickleball Paddles..." Not 'What Pickleball Paddles...'
Thanks
