    So glad you are talking about this. As a person with a BED eating disorder (recovered) I find when I'm really stressed I reach for food but I don't binge and it's not my only chopping skill. I was worried thinking I might not really be recovered. Many thanks on teaching the differences.

    This is so helpful to me because many times I have only heard that I need to stop being emotional about food to recover, which lead me to believe that it's completely black and white. So thank you a lot for making this!

    I think comfort eating is normal. There are other coping comfort other then food. Is cuddling my dog and watching my favorite show. Me dog is a good lustener😊

      I think you might be misunderstanding her. Her channel is focused on EDs and ED recovery and she was talking about whether or not comfort eating was disordered. She said that she didn't think it was inherently bad/disordered.
